Beach Haven Guest House in Galle Fort was the perfect place to stay. The bedroom was lovely and clean with a four poster bed and writing desk. Free Wifi and a terrace to sit out and watch the world go by. The family are incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. also, very affordable compared to other places...

Very nice old colonial building, with lots of rooms available catering for all budgets. Friendly family run guest house, who share their knowledge of Sri Lankan ways of life with you if interested. Cannot wait to return!

Very well located in the heart of the old town, the Beach Haven is a nice, value for money, quiet place to stay at. Independent entry to get access to your room. Free wifi. Different categories of rooms: mine, on the 1st floor, was rather small (no wardrobe) but clean (even if the pillows smelt a bit musty). Bed with...

We knew we would arrive late so we called in advance. They waited up for us and were incredibly nice, even though it was already late at night. The location is excellent, the breakfast is great and the family members are so nice and interesting to talk with.

This was my second time staying at Beach Haven. Sometimes when you repeat stay at a place it's changed and sometimes not always for the better, but this was not true at Beach Haven. The family was just as sweet and welcoming and friendly as I'd remembered. The location can't be beat, it's quiet most of the time, comfortable beds...

About 10 minutes walk, past the cricket pavillion, the guest house is within the Fortress walls. It was immediately apparent upon arrival that it was a family home, and everyone very chatty - even in my native English. Wi-fi is available in many places in Sri Lanka, including here. I didn't have my own laptop, but they had a pc...

Right in the middle of the old Dutch Fort Area is this long house. Each room is decorated with antiques. Everything is set right. Not like in a fancy magazine, no, just like in a home. Maybe your home for your stay in Galle. The soul of the house, the family will make you feel like that. To me it...

I stayed at beach haven for 7 weeks in July-August while on medical elective and had a fantastic time. The rooms are excellent value and the location is brilliant but the best part about this guest house are the family that run it. We were made to feel like part of the family, Shiromi helped us arrange onward accommodation and...

A very nice and welcoming place. The family who run this guest house is very warm and friendly. One of the best guesthouse that we made during our trip in Sri Lanka. And a great thank to Sita ( the owner) to have sent back to us our camera in France (we had forgotten it at the guesthouse before leaving...

Me and my girlfriend had a great time during our internship in Sri Lanka. One of the things that made it that awesome was our accommodation, Beach Haven. Its a very good place for students: cheep, clean, and a very kind and helpfull family. The rooms are very nice, especially those who are in the second floor with the balcony....
