I came alone home with a special flight to colombo Then stayed 14 days compulsory quarantine period in hotel Jet wing beach hotel. It was not easy to stay in a hotel room without going out. I do understand the Sri Lankan government's concern about the situation. Hotel staff was very helpful and doing their maximum to make us comfortable. I must mention; Miss. Menuka, Mrs. Hyacinth the general manager, Miss Anne Dais called me time to time to ask if I feel better and if I need any other thing to make my self comfortable. Also (I regret that really I wanted to meet him in person before leave but, unfortunately during check out I was busy .) hotel's chef called me to ask if I have any special requests. About Room service staff too fantastic. Each morning and evening they knocked the door to check if we need any thing such as tea, coffee apart from servings meals to the rooms. And also the first day the A/C was too cold I didn't have any idea how to adjust it. they were not allowed to come inside the room . Any how Room service explained me how the turn the front grill of the A/C; I was managed to do it . it was 10.30 pm but another two staff members came with a ladder and knocked my door wearing like "astronauts" thinking that if I couldn't do it they wanted to take the risk even that time they didn't know if I was contaminated or not. I could see the people moving on beach jogging, exercising and special thanks to armed army personals around the hotel for our security 24hrs. we could sleep even the doors open with peace of mind. Beach was 100meters away. I could see Three swimming pools they maintain everyday but not allowed to swim. I came alone this time not a pleasure trip but sure I will come back with my family when the pandemic is over. And highly recommended for the kind hospitality of whole hotel staff. All the work you all have done was appreciated very much. Keep up the good work guys!!…
After landing at BIA on September 29., 2020, we were lucky enough that our wish was fulfilled: The Army brought us to JW Beach! Although it's not so funny spending 14 days in a room the staff has left no stone unturned to make this time as comfortable as possible. Beginning from Hyacinth Gunawardena – Director General Manager Jetwing Blue and Jetwing Beach to the chef Kolithe we were concerned for our well-being. Today we would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you"ll once again! We're looking forward meeting you again if the hotel no longer serves as a quarantine station.
The amazing staff was able to transform a some-what disappointing stay into an excellent one. The staff at the Jetwing Beach was very friendly, humble and genuine. They went beyond their roles to make the guests feel at home even at 2am when we checked-in. Breakfast, though simple, was delicious. The rooms however were basic, dated and in need of a refurbishment. Cleanliness can also be improved. There were mosquitos, ants and various other insects throughout the room.
Another beautiful hotel in Negombo. Rooms are spacious and clean. And the bathroom is very nice and large. Love the pool. Great customer service and the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, they have a clean and nice beach.
We stayed at Negombo beach for one night from 4th oct - 5th oct at the start of our trip to Sri Lanka and we absolutely loved it. The thing that made it for us at this hotel were the staff, who were incredibly helpful throughout. The room was spacious and clean, and the pool facilities and bar were great. We were upgraded to the suite room and we loved the hospitality , Would definitely return here and would recommend it to the my friends and family.
