In the past few years they have added a number of lovely private rooms with en-suite bathrooms situated in the Ezulweni Valley's lush and beautiful setting. There is a communal kitchen for those who want to prepare meals but there are a number of...

I booked a room by phone and when I got there the said that they had given the room to someone else, it was late and I had to scramble around trying and find another room, which was very difficult on a Friday night at 18:00. Not impressed.

I was part of a group traveling SA and stayed over at Lidwala backpackers. The dorm rooms were fully booked by foreigners doing volunteer work so we booked the permanent tent setup with four beds. This was a lovely choice because we had a bit more privacy and the tent is nestled between large trees and a stream running through...

“The tents are lovely and much more roomy, quiet and private than the rooms. Although the rooms have a private bath, the shared toilets & showers are right next to them so you hear people using them and they can see into your room once the lights are on (thin curtains).”
