Rooms were a good size and clean but had a tile floor, as had the corridor, which meant noise carried with no carpet insulation. The evening bar meal was poor with cold chips and solid burger bun. Breakfast was crowded with little room to help yourself from the self service buffet. Fortunately only a one night stay.

Fortunately only a 1 night stay. Terrace/ pool bar good drinks and service but will not let you charge to the room, first hotel I have visited that does not though you can charge food to your room? As I walked into the restaurant I herd talk of cold buffet and so went for the a la carte. Placed the... More

The rooms were filthy and very noisy due to the thin walls and doors. Door in our bathroom was moldy and broken. Dinner was poor, even skipped breakfast. Not much recommended for someone looking for "the best place to stay in Swaziland". Pictures on the website are very good looking though.

Tho it's well located the hotel facilities aren't the best I've seen around. The internet only works near the reception and not in the rooms. The "free internet" it0s a voucher with 1 day of use. Not a great place if you are disabled.

Over night stay in the George was pleasant it has all the amenities you need although the rooms in the new part of the hotel are rather quirky in the bathroom window opened onto the hallway but was not an issue, just don't sing loudly in the shower unless you want all in the hallway to hear you. The food... More

If you care more about what your breakfast meal is I'd say stay at the George while in manzini. It has a good breakfast buffet with lots to choose from. They make good cocktails too (uhmm not for breakfast though).

I recently stayed at the newly built area, i beleive room 275 on the 3rd floor. The room was very unpractical especially the bathroom door that opens half way. This is the best hotel in Manzini. (Actually it is the only hotel in Manzini). I stayed as part of a tour of Southern Africa, and although it is by no means a luxury hotel it served its purpose admirably. Check-in was efficient and friendly, and I was shown to a perfectly adequate room, clean and comfortable, and well-appointed with... More

Manzini is a true African experience and The George Hotel might be the best hotel in whole Swaziland. Friendly staff, and the hotel in itself is just great. Clean, neat and the pool area is just as good as the photos show. Our bathroom was a little bit smelly, but maybe that was just ours.
