we have stayed only one night at Sands, it was Ok .. they had a renovation on January 2011 .. the rooms are very small & basic, but clean. they don't have minibar ,,, very small & old TV at the rooms .. bathroom is very good ... The staff were very helpful ALL ,,, food was very good ..... More

Stayed here for 1 night during a 5-day tour of Syria.Public reception areas excellent- spectacular dining room on top floor with all-round plate glass windows giving a fine view of the ruins.Breakfast and dinner -both buffet style very good .Rooms fairly large- TV worked but walls could use a lick of paint and room furniture could be modernised.Shower leaked when... Our room was very basically furnished, without a single picture on the walls or attempt at decoration. Space to put things would have been very short, had we not had a third bed (others in our party were not so lucky). The mosque was just outside and even with earplugs one was awakened by the 5 am call to prayer,... More

The best hotel in Palmyra ( 3 stars ) the room is large the price is very good ( 75 $ for 1 dbl room include breakfast & tax )
