We visited on late Nov so its low season. Great value of money and great location. They have everything a hotel needs to have. Its location right above the night market and besides 7 eleven and Watsons. Subway is just 1minute walk. The air cond could be a problem if you need absolute quietness. Also, bring your own comb. The hotel is clean with tasty breakfast. The price is low. Most important strength is the location. It is located exactly at the night market, but not noisy at night time. Walking distance to the MTR station. Highly recommended!

Room: Cheap, Quiet and simple. Comes with shower gel, shampoo gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair dryer and towel. Thumbs up: 1. Popular Liuhe night market is just at doorstep. Exit the hotel and you are right in the middle of it. Convenient. Awesome! 2. MRT exit 11 is less than 100metres away. 3. Receptionist are friendly and could remember the room... More

This is a no frills hotel that was perfectly fine for a few days in Kaoshiang. It was literally on the same street as the most famous night market and a short walk from the MRT station. Despite being on the night market, our room on the 9th floor was quiet; I suggest asking for an upper floor to minimize... More

This hotel is within the Liu He night market. Once you step out of the hotel, you are in the night market. Staff is friendly and room is big but a lot of room wastage as there is not much place to hang your clothes. bathroom is big but sadly no bath tub. Got a room with no windows and... More

I had read mixed reviews about the Sunnyside Hotel, but can only speak highly of them after our stay. No problems whatsoever. The staff were always helpful and very friendly, someone seemingly on the desk 24/7. The rooms were basic but more than adequate, bed comfortable and water in the shower was always hot. Our room was a shower/toilet combo,... More

This was the cheapest hotel during our 8 days in Taiwan. We chose it for the location - right smack in the middle of Liuhe Night Market. (Although we prefered Ruifeng Night Market). It was about a minute from the subway station, which by the way was the least busy subway system I've ever seen. Asian subway systems are usually... More

Conveniently located next to MRT exit 11 of Formosa Boulevard (徢运美丽島站), this hotel is clean and reasonably spacious for a budget hotel. Next door is 711 and watsons stores. Despite warning from other reviewers about the night market noise, my room was quiet (on 8th floor, window facing eastwards), perhaps because the weekday night market was quiet too. Weekends and... “Request for rooms far from the lift lobby because my stay was interrupted by guests from a certain country which I shall not name, who talked so loudly at the lift lobby as early as 7am in the morning. Poor sound-proofing adds to this as well.”
