We arrived late into Arusha and went straight to Rivertrees. What a nice surprise to have such a beautiful place. They are cottages of a nice size with a large bathroom including a cement tub and a separate shower. We had dinner and had a beef kabob. It was tender and delicious. Hotel room was quiet and beautiful, set within a natural setting next to a river and among many large trees. Staff went above and beyond on service. Room was large with sitting area and king bed with mosquito netting. Bathtub, shower and basin made from concrete. Hot water was plentiful and drinking water provided. Rooms are placed two in each...

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful and restful setting. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Restaurant produced a good variety of wonderful food. Tried our first Tanzanian beer - enjoyable. A great start to our Tanzanian holiday with special thanks to our very attentive waiter.

Not only were the staff sympathetic to...

Stayed here twice bookending our safari in Tanzania. Rooms were spacious, well laid out, great bedding, etc. Rooms are in different 'cottage' settings. And the grounds are spacious and luscious. However, management should do a much better job of lighting the grounds at night. Our flashlight was not all that strong and we lost our way back to our room....
