The place I was volunteering for put me and another girl here in separate rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot water was good. Breakfast and service in restaurant were good. But........as this hotel is right downtown by the clock tower it was very busy outside the front doorway leading to the courtyard. Flycatchers, (young men and woman hoping to...

I guess that 'average' is the best definition. Very good stuff and location - not the city centre but close to anything you will need. Room was clean and comfortable, stayed there for two nights and then changed for a cheaper place. Beware of street touts ("fly catchers") which just stick to you from the moment you step out of...

Clean and good service. Very much central and surrounded by Banks and Bureau. The restaurant was reasonable with good breakfast. I would recommend for budget travelers. Basic rooms with hot water shower.

Stayed here for one night. Small rooms. Old bathroom. Moderate breakfast. But the worst thing was stool on one of the towels provided by the hotel. A budget option in the center of Arusha, but I would never go back again!

This place has been around for ages, so naturally it's not a gleaming hotel like the New Arusha, which is just "a block" away. But, like the New Arusha hotel, this one is also situated in a convenient and safe part of town. Granted, you can find a nice lodge just on the fringes of town for a slight bit...

I stayed in the Arusha Naaz with my husband and 2 friends for 2 evenings in September 2014. The rooms were modest but clean. The hot water was intermittent however the air conditioning worked. It was disappointing that the safe in the room was only operated by key and that we had to pay cash on our departure despite the...

Stayed for a total of 2 nights on our way to Serengeti and Ngorongoro NPs and back. The hotel´s main advantage is its location with dining and shopping (supermarket right on the corner). You can easily change the local currency as there are 3 exchange bureaus on the main street very close to the hotel. Our room was orientated off...

A friend stayed here recently and they had all sorts of problems with the hotel management. AC doesn't wok, no hot water, noisy and tiny rooms.... and on it goes. Best to spend a bit more and stay elsewhere. Awful location to start with and then its so poorly run. Breakfast is the only saving grace for this hotel.

Shower door wouldn't close. No hot water. Room was scummy and loud, as it is on the main road of Arusha. Breakfast was ok. I got food poisoning from the samosas at the restaurant. The main point is that it IS NOT at the same standard as L'Oasis or The Outpost Hotel and it's much the same price.

I have an interesting experience to relate with the Naaz Hotel. Our TO (whose office is located about 100 metres from the Clock Tower) had suggested we stay at the Naaz Hotel (also located about 100 metres from the Clock Tower down another radial road). It was the two of us, 16 y/o son and I, we were on a...
