Stayed for a night before and night after our safari. Pleasantly surprised - very nice communal areas and beautiful grounds with lovely trees and plants to relax in. Didn't swim in the pool but looked nice. Rooms were nice and very clean and tidy and large. Bathrooms were basic but very sufficient and clean. Excellent service from the staff who...

To be honest, I didn't expect to find such a nice hotel after 200m of dust road. The hotel is an oasis. It has very comfortable and big rooms (bungalows), TV and free WiFi. The buffet is decent (breakfast). I really liked the lunch and dinner selections. 16 USD for a 3 course menu. Not bad. They have a nice...

Dear MiltieTrip, Thank you for writing about your recent stay with us here. Yes, clients often tell us they find Planet Lodge to be great oasis i.e. secluded in a quiet green environment unlike the rest of the city. I am glad you enjoyed the meals including breakfast and dinner. I am however concerned with your feedback on the swimming...

Overall this is a great place to stay in Tanzania. The rooms, grounds, resturant are all very nice. We arrived mostly at night, so I could not see where the hotel was, but I think it is located right in a surburan area. Nonetheless focusing soley on the hotel, staff is great, rooms are nice and spacious, very clean as...

In the chaos that is Arusha-town, Planet Lodge offers a simple, reflective and quiet space to either prepare for your safari or wind-down after it is over. We stayed 1 night post-safari and found the staff incredibly helpful, friendly and all with wonderful smiles. The room was clean, quiet, cool and comfortable....just what we needed to reflect on the wonders...

We stayed here for 2 nights. You will drive up and think "Darn that Kim on trip advisor" but once you enter the compound you'll see that's it's a fabulous hotel. Great food in the restaurant, amazing service, clean and pretty fancy rooms. We would have like to stay longer it was so nice. Shout out to Marco, who wasn't...

Great property for a relaxing stay after safari and prior to next leg of trip. Clean, comfortable. Dinner not so great, breakfast offered many good, healthy options. Reception staff suggested that tipping individuals is not necessary since they have a tip box at reception that gets distributed among staff. Staff seemed to expect tips so we tipped those who served...

We stayed here three nights before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. It was the choice of our climbing outfit. They also offered an upgraded choice at a higher price, but we were very pleased with this choice. The bungalows were comfortable and quiet; the food was good and plentiful; and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Excellent service and a wonderful room. The food was some of the best we had in Tanzania. We actually stayed twice, on both ends of our safari. They helped us with transportation in Arusha as well and had a driver at our disposal.
