We have just returned after a great stay.We stayed here for a week after a busy week including Phuket,Krabbi, boat tours and elephant sanctuary. The hotel was away from the town and very relaxing. There is a shuttle bus into town which we only used once to get some supplies and gifts. The villa was perfect. We loved the layout with lots of space. The outside shower was a welcome bonus. There are choices of 2 restaurants with different menus and also special nights. The beach was very nice with options of beach bars and restaurants. As has been mentioned before a torch is a must. After dark there are so many crabs on the beach. There are 2 pool options. We preferred the pool next to the snack bar. It was always much quieter and we loved the happy hour cocktails. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We could find fault with anything. If you want a quiet relaxing hotel this is perfect.…

We stayed at this hotel as the last part of a two week trip, we visited Phuket first and stayed at the Kantary bay again an amazing stay. We moved on to visit Krabi which was more commercial. while traveling to Khao Lak we visited a number of places on route with are amazing Guide Mr Chotithamakit (Char) and are driver Mr Chomankit (Jean). Both our Guide and driver were amazing and provided by the tour company Cel Tours Thailand co ltd a Very big thank you to you both for making the trip so special. We arrived at Kantary beach late after a very long day and would like to give a special thanks to Poppy on the front desk. She really was a great ambassador for the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. While we relaxed I was able to take advantage of the facility's booking three 60 minute massages with an amazing lady call Kai, thank you so much, just enjoying the sound of the ocean while feeling like you are floating on a cloud amazing. A big thank you to all the staff at the resort the Thai evening was really good the dancers were very genteel and beautiful and the food was incredible. …

Just back from a lovely 2 weeks 4 of us stayed in 2 villas. I contacted the hotel before we arrived and requested villas next to each other and that is what we got. Check in was really smooth and all staff were so friendly and helpful for all of our stay. We had a couple of issues with the rooms which were quickly resolved, breakfast had a great choice, loved the egg station. The beach location is perfect, pools clean but very warm. Restaurants on the beach both sides served lovely well priced food. Watch out for the hermit crabs so you will need a torch. The shuttle bus is a great service and easily booked in reception, we went to the market twice and into town once. The only small criticism is the Wi-Fi which did not work on our room, I reported it a couple of times but to be honest it was not a big issue as it worked in the rest of the hotel and is available in most bars. We were really sad to leave but would love to return, thank you for a wonderful long awaited first visit to Thailand…

This villa is very beautiful. We had the best experience with this villa. General Manager, He is very helpful and kind. Staff in the hotel always smile and warm welcome. Similan, The Italian restaurant was very nice with the perfect food quality. Beach very private and beachfront villa can access direct to the beach.

Kantary Khao Lak was absolutely fantastic, the staff at the hotel were kind, helpful and some of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. The food was also fantastic, the restaurant staff were a pleasure, nothing was to much or to hard for them. The views, the beach, the massages and the service was fantastic. I could speak more highly of the staff, they made our time in Khao Lak memorable.

The beach hotel is the friendliest, peaceful place we have ever stayed at. The place was beautiful from room to beach. The staff were so helpful and kind, our favourite being Nong who always Brough a big smile to our face ! Will forever highly recommend the kantary beach hotel

My family and me had a great holiday at the Kantary hotel. There were few people in the hotel due to rain season, which made the hotel very calm and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything!

It's the second time we have stayed here. It's always consistent. The bungalows are clean spacious and well equipped. However, they are now in need of some TLC. The staff are superb and nothing is too much trouble. The location is ideal for a quiet beach holiday and the buffet breakfast is amazing. It's a little expensive to eat there in an evening and it's only a short walk along the beach to find some lovely I formal beach restaurants.

This was our second stay at Kantary beach and we loved it just as much as in 2017, this time we had a Villa which was more than comfortable and the outside shower was fantastic. The air conditioning was so good I even put a t shirt on at night in the room. We chose this time of year as we knew it would be nice and peaceful and we certainly weren’t disappointed in that. A different tailor is on site to before but he was fantastic and the shirt he made me was a real bargain. We decided to go full board so that if we wanted refreshments at lunchtime it was all paid for beforehand, breakfast had a wide choice from across the board so no going hungry. Evening meal was from a set menu which had a fair selection to choose from although it would have been nice to see it slightly different each week but we understand the trying to keep costs down. All staff were very friendly and helpful and fun, even to the point of a surprise treat for dessert on the last night,nice to recognise a few face’s from before too. Great hotel on a fantastic beach and would highly recommend to those wanting a quiet out of the way stay.…

I stopped by one afternoon to check out the resort and the fellow who showed me around was quite friendly and personable. The suites were more appealing than the little bungalows so I reserved a suite for 3 nights. It had a covered balcony with a large table where I could work outside even if it was raining. The kitchenette/living room and separate bedroom were spacious and well laid-out with adequate closet space. Overall the resort was a little bit run down, but since I was mostly interested in walking along Coconut and White Beach it was okay; the main pool was adequate for doing laps. Breakfast was satisfactory-- a selection of fruit, pastries, bread and the usual egg station. I was charged for lattes. Not a big deal, but a self-serve expresso machine would have been nice. The restaurant was not open for dinner in early December, but there were three beach cafes to choose from near by. There was also a minimart which opened late morning into the evening so one could by soft drinks and snacks. I'm not sure if I would return. The attitude of one of the staff overseeing the pool/garden area was surly and not typical of most Thai hotels. It was really hit and miss with hospitality. Maybe I would give it one more try as the place is ideal if you want to be somewhere quiet with a lovely beach. The downside--the resort catered to a lot of Germans who smoked--I wish people would realize that even outdoors-- around the pool and rows of sun loungers-- the smell of second hand smoke is unpleasant.…
