Nothing to fault. Staff were excellent and room was large, clean and pretty cheap. We sorted our onward transfers to Ko Phangan at reception and the rates were fine and all done super easy. They don't have a breakfast service but in the mornings there is complimentary chicken soup/porridge, we ate and enjoyed thanks! Would stay again when passing through.

What an excellent hotel .
3 star room , 5 star reception and staff .
I can not fault this great hotel. the location is great .
I arrived at 6 am from a long bus journey from Hua Hin, and the reception staff said they were fully booked, and as soon as a room is available and cleaned, they would get me checked in .
They reception was very comfortable, with free tea , coffee , water, and snacks .
At 8 am (wow) , they called me over and got me in a room .
Thanks guys you went above and beyond 99% of hotels .

We got this hotel for a real bargain price and it was worth every penny. Although the the rooms are a little small and well used, they are clean and comfortable ideal for a one or two nights stay in Surat Thani. Hard to find initially but conveniently located near the White Temple and the night market which is great for authentic street food. The staff were pleasant and helpful and assisted us greatly with our onward journey to Koh Phangan. There is no breakfast service as such but they do provide free tea and coffee and very tasty chicken rice porridge which we loved. You also get a balcony which is great if you want to was a few clothes and hang them out there to dry. I would recommend this hotel for its convenience and location and cleanliness.

The Evergreen Suite Hotel is well situated for anyone spending time in Surat Thani town. The price is also more than reasonable at 590 Bt for a Superior Room and 690 Bt for a Deluxe room. Yet it is not a real hotel and has the feel of a serviced apartment, not having a restaurant and offering no food. This is not a major problem as there is 7-11 at the end of the Soi and very good restaurants nearby.

Overall, the Evergreen is a reasonable choice for a night or two. It is clean, the water is hot and the bed comfortable. The Internet worked fine and there was the normal choice of Thai TV channels but no international channels. There are some "interesting" design flaws in the room, with wooden shelves sticking out from the wall and an annoying ill-placed soap dish that one keeps hitting in the shower, but these are minor quibbles.

Booked this one hour before arrival by smartphone. Had a clean, modern double room with a comfortable bed, fridge, no water cooker (but free coffee, tea, drinking water and fruit juices available in the lobby area), television and small balcony on the first floor. Fast wifi in my room. The bathroom: clean, modern, good water pressure. There was no real breakfast service but there was chicken rice porridge in the lobby area in the morning with coffee, tea, juices. Friendly and helpful staff. I stayed 1 night. Good value for your baht. Will definitely stay here a next time.

Stayed here for the night on the way to Khao Lak. Surat Thani doesn’t have much to offer in the way of tourism. Restaurants were hard to find and mainly only written in Thai without English speakers for staff. That aside, the hotel was comfortable but noisey. I got up twice during the night to ask people to stop noise in the foyer and in one room. Would not stay here again.

Have had about four one night stays at the Evergreen, in the past few months. Usually whilst cycling in the Suratthani area. Always a warm and courteous welcome from the hotel staff. Great facilities in the clean, comfortable, and modern rooms. Lots of shops and restaurants, in the immediate area, and it's only a short walk from the beautiful city Pillar Shrine, (see photo), which is well worth a visit, especially in the evenings.
Excellent value for money, would fully recommended, and I look forward to my next visit.

Delighted to find that Evergreen (and many other hotels) are opening again all across Thailand. While there is still no international tourism in the country, local tourists and business travelers are beginning to play a role in economic recovery.

The hotel continues to provide an excellent product. Welcoming, convenient, clean and comfortable. And a good sized carpark too (which was totally full as we left early morning, so clearly business is pretty good).

We will be back!

They have ample car park. Clean room. Free coffee at lobby. Require a 200 THB deposit upon check in.

No complains very clean. Fast check in and out.

At the entrance there is a 7-11. So I wod say everything is fine and it's OK for family to stay with kids

This hotel was very well priced. The rooms were super basic but clean and perfectly fine. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Nice food places within an easy walk. This is in a busy town but it was tucked away off the road. Service very friendly and complementary hot water, tea and coffee was provide along with congee.
