Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had the misfortune of staying at this no * accommodation for 2 nights recently and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone…they say free WiFi but not in your room only around pool area…they say aircon but ours never worked properly, so the nights were very uncomfortable with temperatures in the 30s…when you complain it’s take it or leave…all very nice to your face before they’ve got your money after that no refund…that’s why they won’t let you see a room in person only photos on their computer…rooms not very clean and the first one they gave us was smelly like urine…that’s when I complained and all they would offer was another room and no refund…owner very rude and arrogant but she was always right and I didn’t know what I was talking about…I said I don’t live in these conditions and I don’t expect to have to pay too…still no reasoning so we took the other room offered…had to climb into an old bath tub to take a shower which had been painted on the inside with black paint, looked a right mess…normally 900฿ a night with breakfast but we got the promotion 750฿ and guess what no breakfast so not really a promotion…in all a crappie hotel which will never get any recommendations from me…you’ve been WARNED!!!

Nice spacious room for the price paid. Staff extreamley friendly and helpful, Par in particular was a god send. Great location seconds from the beach and loads of restaurants local. Soi Bus has 24 food eatery which is very cheap but of seriously good standard. So one of my best breaks to Cha Am ever.

The room is clean and big enough to fit in the extra(just in case). But the building is next to the houses and other hotels which can be so loud esp. in the morning. There are dogs and they bark heavily during the night, if you are a light sleeper you may wake up in the middle of the night. Overall, good for the price, clean and quite private. Love it when there’s not many people around.

We stayed at Chaamaran for one night only but we took the Jacuzzi room. It’s right at the top and there’s lots of stairs so we left much the things in the car. The room is very big with a nice bed, bathroom, sitting area and a balcony with lots of room plus Jacuzzi. Beautiful view from the top too. Cha am is a quiet place but there’s lots of seafood places around to eat at. Nice place to stay.

This hotel is a good place to stop for a cheap night or two. It's made up from Shipping containers, placed on top of each other. The place is very basic but very clean at the same time. There is also a swimming pool.

This hotel is located just across the road facing the beach in Cha am. Standard rooms are very simple, but comfortable, and quite clean. Ample hot water and the air conditioner works well and is quiet. There is no lift and some rooms are on the third floor. Rooms are cleaned every two days. There is parking and a swimming pool. Street food and restaurants are within easy walking distance. This a fairly new hotel and prices are surprisingly reasonable. All in all, this is very good value for a beachfront hotel. The only negatives were their lack of response to my emails, and the telephone seemed to be always on the fax machine, and no one answers it. Wi fi worked in the lobby but not in the third floor room. Also be aware that on Wednesdays most of the city takes the day off. No chairs are available on the beach, very few food vendors and restaurants are open.

Stayed for 1 night on the room which spa massage bathtub is provided. However, the water level was too low; and the spatube emits an unpleasant smell. The room is located on the highest floor of the building; which caused the water pressure to be extremely low. Not recommended for spa massage room. Staff : 10/10 Very helpful. Location: 10/10 Very near the beach and good for shoppers. Environment: 7/10 A very unique environment. Water pressure for bath: 1/10 Bad.

This is a well run Hotel stretching further and further to keep their guest always happy and pleased. Nothing was much trouble and although is not a 5 star Hotel it is definitely a nice and pleasant experience. Clean well organized and great design features , starting with the light house in the middle of the square when you arrive in this colorful setting. breakfast is good too and everyone including its guests are polite. I am not sure what the other reviews were about but my 6 night stay here was perfect. Highly recommendable.
