This is a lovely place, the only reason why I don' t rate it 5 stars is that, although you get your own private bathroom, it is outside the room so you need to get out of it to use it. Aside from that our stay here was perfect: the room and the place look super cute, everything is spotlessly...

It is a great little gem near the city centre.Guest house is a old but well maintained traditional Thai house..It is next to the big temple. You can feel how Thai people live .Owner was really nice and try to help us in every way. We booked a day trip from them and enjoyed a lot.Staying here was a good experience...

Great room, great host. We were picked up at Chiang Rai AirPort and drove to Baan Bua Homestay. Bon, the host, took good care of us. The room was big and the wifi worked perfect. The location is close to night bazar and Sunday market. Bon was very helpfull with all we needed. We can highly recommend Baan Bua Homestay!

Decent, very simply furnished small rooms. Mine was shared with a friends and we had space for our 2 large suitcases and nothing else really. A table with a TV and the beds are there. Has good free wifi and AC though. Bathroom is partially open-air (a little shed over wc but basically you shower in the open. Very common layout...

OK! For the price, you cannot expect too much! It's a nice idea to have turned this old house into a guesthouse... Clean, very clean! Centrally located, it's nice to be able to walk all around the center of the town from there! But you have to keep in mind that the walls between the rooms are very thin! So,...

We booked at the last minute, not sure what to expect. The place is quite easy to find despite of being in a quiet street, and it's very well located. 5 minutes walking from the bus station and the night market. The building is pleasant, colourful. Rooms are simple but clean, beds are confortable. A couple of furniture and a...

I booked a room in this guasthouse the previous day by booking. When we arrived, we immediately had a great impression! It is located in the centre of Chiang Rai, only 3 minutes walk from the main street, but it is in a peacefull path. Even if it was already dark when we arrived, it hadn't been difficult to find...

The location is very good, in a quiet street, very near to the center. There is a nice communal terrace. The room was very small and the bathroom is outside the room (not shared). We booked via booking.com, but that wasn't necessary since there are cheaper similar options in the area that are not listed on booking sites.

Baan Bua Homestay is above all a charming little guesthouse. It's a colorful oasis in the centre of Chiang Rai. The location is perfect, just a 5 min walk from the bus station, easy to find and close to the Night Bazaar and Saturday Walking Street. Rooms are diferent sizes but all very comfortable and with a private bathroom. The...
