the hotel’s design with its open layout, wooden & metal components makes for an industrial but very comfortable interior and exterior. The pool and small garden are kept in good condition and there is always simebody sweeping the grounds. the room was spacious and offered aircon, fridge, tv, toiletries, a large bottle of water per day and a comfy bed. I missed storage such a wardrobe ir drawers and a safe as well as a chair/armchair in the room.
The bathroom in comparison was tiny and one if the typical “sit on the wc while showering and brushing your teeth” Thai bathroom where everything gets wet. This is not problematic in general but the entire hotel had such a modern design that I was surprised to find such a mini bathroom. There was no shelf to leave your toiletries and the sink was slso very small and didn’t offer space for more tgsn a toothbrush.
Wifi was available in all areas.
Breakfast was buffet style with an egg dish/pancake freshly prepared per person.

The staff was very friendly but was totally flustered when asked a question in English.

Nice hotel but not what we had expected. The rooms are spacious and pleasant but our bathroom was very small with the shower going directly into the bathroom with no separator, therefore everything gets wet and the floor flooded every time you shower. Like some others we also encountered small ants in our room that got into our snacks.

The breakfast is quite basic and unfortunately does not cater well for a vegan diet, with no warm options and very limited buffet options. The staff is very nice and polite however and we were taken great care of by the energetic lady managing breakfast :)

The room was fine, apart from having 2 single beds jammed together instead of a double, which is what I'd requested. Staff didn't even bother to tell me that when giving me the key.

Swimming pool looks nice, but is well shaded and cold, so not that useful.

This hotel may have the smallest bathrooms ever, but that isn't the end of the bad design. The shower is not screened off, so you get water on everything. There's only one towel hook and nowhere to hang clothes and no shelf for toiletries. It's so tiny that the basin was out in the room. There are much better options for a similar price nearby.

We had the worst experience at this place. It was the first time we felt absolutely deceived in Thailand. The girl from the front desk told us she could call a service to take us to the temples for half of the day for only 400 BHT. We thought it was a reasonable price but still wanted to ensure we understood well, so we asked 3 Times the price, and 3 times she said 400 BHT.

Visiting the places didn't take long. When we got back to the hotel, they charged us 1400 BHT. They said it wasn't for half of the day but for each attraction.

We called the manager, and she just kept on laughing without answering our questions and asking for the money. She said they would make a discount of 200 BHT, so now it was only 3 times what they told us in the morning. She didn't take any further action against her employee, that lied to
Our face 3 times and didn't help us with the driver. She literally just laughed. When we got to the room, we had broken and unclean walls and a double bed when we had booked a two-bed bedroom. Luckily we just have to stay here for one night. We are sure you can find a better place with better people in this town.

Nice hotel. Looks really modern from the outside.
Breakfast was just ok. The bathrooms are.... (I cannot describe)
Would return because cheap and location but would not stay long. (Passing through purposes)
Very centrally located. Comfortable beds but I found the air con in my rooms had this annoying blue light. Oh well.

We stayed two nights and the room was good, clean and with AC.
Bathroom and shower are combined as it seems to be not untypical for that region. Shower provides enough water.
Breakfest is good.
The personell is very friendly and helps in every situation. That‘s really great!
I recommend this hotel. 👍

If you are heading for budget hotel, you may consider this hotel.
We stay here for 2 nights, room are very small, no space to open the luggage. There is only 2 floor, so we gotta climb up the stairs, no a big deal for us but if you have old people with you , you may think twice before you book.
Room are small and bathroom is very small as well.No hairdryers for the room.
Nothing much to eat for breakfast.NIght market are walking distance away.

We like this hotel because it is serviced by Chalee also known as Chiangrai Tripadvisor. In three visits he has taken us to the best attractions in the area and has excellent English. Steves Hangover's Bar is just around the corner being an extremely convivial expat hangout. The hotel itself leaves a bit to be desired in the bathroom department, otherwise it is more than adequate.

We spent 3 days at the hotel and really liked the place! The seemingly newly renovated rooms are clean and tidy, the hotel is close to the city centre and the pool (also probably freshly renovated) creates a nice atmosphere on the outside. What really blew us away was the energy of Suvanna, one of the staff supervisor. Carrying a big smiles she jumps left and right with her welcoming charme, to make sure every guest gets everything one can need. She helps organising fair-priced city and surrounding tours which are really good value and helps finding the bus to the airport.

Small improvements (spoiled kid wishes) could be done with the breakfast menu (the Thai menu always changes, but the continental breakfast is always similar).

Would definitely come back

We've stayed here for a few days. What can I tell you? It's a nice place to sleep, not to live. Overall: small bathroom/toilet, old AC unit. At the first sight it look all new and shiny, inside the situation is a bit different. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was far away from being good. The best part was a helpful woman who helped us to pick up a nice tour around the Chiang Rai and all attractions nearby.

Greeting from Diamond Park INN 1 and Diamond Park INN Resort 2. We are the same hotel chain and owner. Our location both are in downtown area which Diamond Park INN 1 is in a walking distance to night bazar about 300 m or 5 min walk and Diamond Park INN Resort are about 600 m approx 13 min walk. Our guests can choose from their own lifestyle of room and location but our service will be the same. Hope this help
