We first went to the North Hotel since this was recommended in our lonely planet. Unfortunately it was fully booked, so they recommended City Home for us. The location is great, just a few steps from the Night Bazar and I think it is worth your money. A twin bedroom with fan will cost you 300 baht a night. The...

For a budget hotel, this is the place, friendly staff, make your own free coffee, big room, big tv. Comfortable bed. Very close to night bazar, and restraunts, and old bus station (under construction). It is on the Main Street, shopping centre close by also many travel agents.

The room was clean and comfortable. I had an air conditioned room that was quiet at night. Great location near night market, shopping, and restaurants . Very helpful staff. Fast Internet. I always stay here when passing through Chiang Rai. Large screen TV in room.

Very near bus station and convenient for the town. Good centre for planning elephant trekking, visiting hill tribes etc. Do visit the gardens in the town.

Guy who ran the place was very friendly and informative. Told us anything we needed to know and always had a smile when doing so. The toilets and showers were good, the only annoying part was the lack of towel hooks. Wifi was perfect and the free coffee was a bonus. Dorm was clean and the privates were nice too....

I was in Room 304. I was put off by a smell as is someone had smoked in it - but desk could not re-locate me. Windows did not close, so all street noise came in the room. A/C and hot water worked. There was an intermittent mechanical/electrical hum from outside the room, that came and went in 5 second...

I stayed for 2 nights at the deluxe room. It surprised me the quality compared with the price. But more of it, the staff is amazing. Full of kindness and disponibility. The location is perfect, near everything and very quite on night. I loved this place and I totally will back there.

Centrally located, this place offered everything we needed. Bed was fine, the showers weren't hot, however they said they would be. Also it became quite cold at night. Staff was friendly, and the location was great: Everything you need in Chiang Rai is in walking distance

Decent enough for those on a budget. Not the ritz, but then you get what you pay for. It was literally 1 minute from the night market (there's nothing much going on elsewhere in the city). Another review said it was in a bad area. It's not, it's fine. Very clean fresh smelling linen. Free tea and coffee at all...
