A new hotel with very clean rooms and friendly staff. The rooms are basic with t.v., mini-fridge, free bottled water, and nice size bathroom. Nothing fancy but for $20.00, including breakfast buffet, the Park Inn is an excellent value. Breakfast is mainly Thai food but eggs and toast also offered - 6:30 - 10:00....

The hotel look new, located inside small lane, away from action. Hotel is like a military barrack with low rise building scatter around the huge parking lot ( I thinks they can easily park 15 Big Buses). Service was slow but all were attentive with smile. May be it a typical Northern behavior of doing slow thing !. Room is big enough for two people with big luggages. amenities was enough but no drinking water or free coffee in the room. TV channel mostly local. security wise...only CCTV but I have not seen any Live Security personnels (meaning you have to take care of your own vehicle). No key card as they are still using normal household door knob with key. breakfast buffet was included in the price but the food was mainly for local & Asean. I had a dull fried eggs with toast, coffee & watermelon for breakfast everyday ( We stayed 3 nights ). In general, it's value for money...What you have= what you paid for...anyway...

Firstly keep in mind that we paid £10 ( not including £2 local tax charge) for one nights stay with breakfast.

The hotel is brand new and is extremely clean, it's reminiscent of a travel lodge or premier inn in the UK. The location is approx 20 mins to the clock tower, which is in the town centre and 15mins to the nearest TAT office (tourist office). However you will need a map to find your way around. We found the TAT office extremely helpful and they provided us with a free map of Chiang Rai, which was handy.

Breakfast is basic but we managed to find toast, fried egg, frankfurters a range of Thai breakfast and coffee. The room we booked was a twin, which was of adequate size, however we didn't find a single clothes hanger, a bar of soap or toilet roll, so bring your own or use the hose!! The shower isn't user friendly, you have to follow a set process to turn on the hot water...we needed to be shown by the housekeeping. Once turned on its still lukewarm, but no big deal, the pressure was good.

WIFI is available and the signal is very good. You get given a slip with login credentials from reception. We recommend checking that they work before heading off to your room as ours only worked on the third slip.

For what we paid and our length of stay the hotel was perfectly adequate.

The hotel is reasonable enough. Clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom. But bad wifi. To break a large note, I paid cash when I checked in, and was given the room key and breakfast voucher. Being late, I went straight to my room, and didn't ask for a receipt. Two days later they called saying that I hadn't paid, and they didn't have any record of it. I should have asked for a receipt. Unsure at the time, and to avoid further doubt, I went back again to pay. But this time I made certain to get a receipt. I wonder what happened to my money? If you come here, make sure you pay by card. That way they have a record.

We stayed here for 5 nights this month. Staff was pleasant, hotel grounds were well kept. Rooms were basic—-2 small beds, small bathroom, closet. We were on the second floor of building 3(indoor corridors). Each morning very early we were worken up by what seemed a large group of people, who’s voices echoed down the hallways. Hotel does not have hairdryers in room or to borrow.
Breakfast facilities were outdoors and the breakfast had a nice variety.

This place is ideal for a few nights stay. The rooms are simple and provide what you need: bed, air conditioning, wifi, free breakfast and a clean facility. The breakfast is nothing to brag about but hey it's free! The location is wonderful and is only a 10-15 minute ride from both the airport and city center bus station. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a typical American-styled Motel. Basic but efficient. Nothing nice of beautiful to expect from this accommodation: a real [necessary] stop on the way to... Restaurant and breakfast is lousy. Better go in town for your breakfast (be it even a noodle soup) and forget the free breakfast at the motel... Again as usual here in the North: no one speaks a single word of English! Even not at the reception where the ladies are simply useless and impolite. What a disaster!

Park Inn is a large motel where lots of asian groups stay during their trip.
The rooms are fine, clean. Staff is flexible. As we came, our room was not yet ready and they moved us in another room.
As we travelled with a group, no idea on price but I assume it is reasonable.
Breakfast is basic, only asian food.
Ok for one or two nights

This is more of a motel than a hotel, You can park outside your room which was of a reasonable standard and good value. Breakfast was very poor. Fortunately, it's walking distance to Salungkham Cuisine restaurant which we visited on both nights at the Park Inn. See separate review.

I got the recommendation from my friend. Nice hotel with reasonable price with ABF. The hotel is very wide area...very comfortable. But the free wi-fi is not work. The reception is very nice.
I am not worry about the transportation, I rent a van to pick up.

probably yes, but I was on a business trip and had not that in mind. Anyhow, they should know where nearby trips can be booked. Sorry.
