Stayed for a couple of nights and I recommend to any couple or solo traveller to stay as well Get basic breakfast Bolied egg, sliced bread, tea, coffee. Room was basic but doable for a short time stay. If you get the room closest to reception expect noise from any one hanging at reception at night it gets annoying after...

The room had a strong odor that never dissipated. It looked like they had a glass of charcoal on the floor by the fridge but it didn't make a difference. When I was checking the sheets I first noticed a stain of a darker color (see pic #1). I felt it and the sheet felt smooth so I checked the...

Good sized, comfortable and clean rooms, with large and clean bathrooms. Very quiet. Good central location, close to the Night Market and the main shopping streets. Good restaurants nearby. Limited but good enough breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful. A very good choice to stay a few nights in Chiang Rai.

Superior Double Room was small but clean. Bed was a little hard as were the pillows. Room had a musty smell. Breakfast very basic - bread, butter, jam, juice with tea or coffee. In a quiet location close to main strip and Night Market. Okay for one night but you can get better for the same price in nearby accommodation...

We walked easily from the bus station and there are even signs to Baan Baramee and a number of other places to stay. The hotel is in a quiet lane but has excellent facilities around it. There is a laundry next door, a big seafood restaurant across the road and a lovely little restaurant with English and picture menu just...

We stayed here for three days. The room was super clean and spacious. There was free water every two days AC and a fridge. Everybody was very polite and our staying there was trouble free. The bed had probably the best mattress we slept in Thailand! The breakfast was a bit poor but we made it an all you can...

Nice hotel close to the bus station, the night market and the clock tower. Breakfast offered is good for Thailand standards. Room is medium size but pretty clean, except there were little ants on the floor. The staff is nice too. However don't book trips or transportation with them as they take a high percentage for themselves (i.e. Sorngtaaou to...

The owner has 2 hotels that he needs to juggle with, so nobody is at Baan Baramee at night. This was a problem when a guest needs help. Even during the day time, they put a cleaning lady at the front desk who cannot speak English. Every time I ask her questions or need help, she needed to call the...

Clean, friendly, convenient, great location. Cheaper rooms small, more expensive rooms larger and modern. Very helpful staff, free drinks and a pleasant stay. Some people here complaining about not getting a full breakfast. This is an inexpensive place to stay, you get what you pay for, not what you don't pay for.

I thoroughly enjoyed this guesthouse, so peaceful away from the main streets of Chiang Rai. Ideally located, spotlessly clean. I'd actually give this 4.5 stars due to the very hard bed however they were lovely in sorting out some blankets to pad out the mattress. Breakfast included (toast and fruit) which was pretty basic but fine. I would recommend -...
