We travelled from Bangkok to The Kwai Bridge by rail. Once you're off at Kwai the hotel is about 300m from the bridge. First impressions were good and backed up by 2nd, 3rd and 4th impressions! Beautifully cared for grounds, courteous staff and modern rooms and restaurant. The rooms are not huge but we didn't count that as a negative,...

Arrived in Kanchanaburi from Bangkok via the train from Thonburi Station. There are two trains per day and we got on the 1.55pm train which was on time. We got off the train one stop after the main Kanchanaburi station and walked the 500m from the bridge station to the hotel. If you take this mode of transport make sure...

While the property is well located the experience my wife and I had was not what I call a "joy". So, here it goes. *lots of construction going on, this was not mentioned at time of booking. Rate did not reflect such either. We ended up renegotiating a lower rate on site, took a bit though. *Rooms are small and...

We had a very relaxing night here. The facilites are excellent and the position is perfect. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the river and mountains from the hotel terrace. Staying mid week, the price was very reasonable and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was one of the best in Thailand! Wish we could have had longer here.

We only stayed two nights. The rooms are small but have everything you need and the bed was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our brief stay here. Loved the location of the hotel, the views and the gardens. Staff were lovely. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food and service was excellent. We found it relaxing...

Smart new hotel in a great location on the river and near the bridge. Staff in both hotel and restaurant could not have been more helpful and welcoming. There is a nice infinity pool and dining area over looking the river. Rooms are cosy rather than spacious but more than sufficient and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (scrambled eggs and...

Very nice hotel, but really only as a stop over for a couple of nights. We were in a superior room but it was quite small. Double bed 2 bedside tables, a chair and small table with tv etc all in fitted cupboards. Toiletries replaced even if not used, you can select your soap fragrance at check in. The shower...

This is a nice hotel, well maintained and with helpful staff, but with VERY small rooms (& we had a "deluxe" room)! Location is king, and this property is well located for "the Bridge" - close enough that it's only a short walk away, yet far enough away to be slightly removed from the extremely (somewhat down market) tourist trap...

Stayed here for one night to visit the area. This great small hotel is well run, great location just 300m from the bridge. Caught a late dinner when we arrived, fairly extensive menu with Western dishes if you need them. The reception staff were great and couldn't do enough to help. If you're visiting this area for 24/48 hours I'd...
