Nice location, staff is friendly and the bungalowa are cosy. The WiFi is working only next to recepcion, hot shower, very good price - quality ratio. It's better to make reservation. We have been twice there. It's good to take local train to get there.

We stayed in one of the "regular" rooms in Blue Star, but they also have very nice bungalows IN/ON the river. Beware of mosquitoes though!! Very relaxing place to spend a few nights and make a trip to the River Kwai bridge.

Lovely family run rooms at really reasonable price. You get what you pay for and the room we stayed in was 350baht (split between two of us only 125 each!) and we had a great nights sleep. Very near to local sighs and we hired bikes next door for 50 baht a day. Really sweet staff and nice food for... More

We "splurged" for the two level, 650 baht/night air conditioned bungalow over the river. The view was amazing and the accommodations were a great blend of natural and comfortable. The facility as a whole is extremely comfortable and beautiful. It's a sanctuary within Kanchaniburi. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location is great and within walking distance of... I enjoyed my stay at the Blue Star Guest House even though there was no wifi in the room. (Not uncommon in guesthouses, I understand.) I stayed there for two nights--the first in one of the wooden bungalows overlooking the river. The view was nice, if not as magnificent as I had hoped for. The room was just fine--maybe a... More

You get what you pay for. But the accommodation is very cute and clean . Owner so very helpful with information. There could be a fridge in the room and WiFi doesn't work in all bungalows. Overall nice experience and would stay there again.

We had to have 2 bungalows as there are 5 in our family. Both bungalows were very clean, although bathroom fittings were quite old. Site is well kept and restaurant is good. Very helpful staff, we were able to leave our rucksacks for the day after we had checked out.

We have been charmed by the "floating" description of the place! It is surely not a 5* but this is exactly what we were looking for: a little hut, terrace and view on the river! We reached the guesthouse thanks to our driver, who took us from Ayutahya. Right after having discovered our hut, the nice people at the desk... More

I understand that this is a heap option for accommodation but I booked a room with a/c which didn't work properly. Had to move the bed to directly under the a/c to feel it. There was a lot of mould in the bathroom. It's the only place I've stayed in Thailand that did not supply drinking water and there was... More

Very nice guesthouse with bungallows next to the river. We stayed two nights, first night in a room in the big building and second night in one of the bungallow. The place was really quiet and charming. We enjoyed a good breakfast at the restaurant and took one of the schuttle to go back to Bangkok.
