We rolled up after many hot hours on the road and before we could get off our bikes the staff was standing next to us with ice-cold drinks and cold towels. Do we need to check in? Nope. Here's your key, we will see you at dinner. These days when I go to Thailand I go out of my way...

This is a MUST stay when visiting Thailand. Not too far from Bangkok by car and the resort will send one to collect you if you need it. Takes about 3 hours from Bangkok to the resort. Evelien and Djo are the most gracious hosts and can arrange all trips to the local sightseeing places. And now, they have just...

We spent a couple of nights here on our way to Bangkok. We had our own wheels which made it easier to explore the area as the resort is a 15 minute drive out from Kanchanaburi. Apparently you can get a long-tail boat to ferry you up and down the Khwae Yai from the resort to Kanchanaburi. The grounds are...

What a fantastic family run hotel! Evelien a truly wonderful host, always available. Nothing too much trouble for her staff. Originally booked for 4 nights but stayed for 6! Great location next to the river and for exploring the surrounding area and tourist attractions. Will be back soon! Many thanks. Gary & Tae

A wonderful oasis of calm set right on the banks of the River Kwai. Located about 15km outside of Kanchanaburi, the Oriental Kwai is the perfect base to explore everything the region had to offer. The resort is made up of a collection of villas which are clean, comfortable and well appointed. We stayed for 4 nights and spent our...

Had a wonderful two night stay with our two teenagers. Friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, delicious food, and oasis-like grounds. There are plenty of things to do in area or you can just relax at the resort. We will return for sure, only a two hour drive from Bangkok.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Great rooms great service and scrumptious food. Nothing was a bother for the team here. Quiet and peaceful with amazing gardens. Loved it!! Out of town but on the way to major attractions.

This resort is designed to retain the personal touch, with limited number of guests and a personal service. There is a pool for kids and also a kids menu, plus western/Thai choice. Prices reasonable and transport to/from town (and Bangkok in our case) easily and safely organised. Definitely recommended if you want to get away from the mass tourist hotel...

Lovely grounds, lovely people, lovely food, lovely service. Very convenient location. Don't miss the boat ride into the city. The night market. And the Thai massage in the city. We tried three different places. All were great!
