Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the worst hotel I have ever come across. 1. I experienced that receptionists did not speak English. Does not greet you when you enter the door. Doesn't smile either. They were simply not accommodating. In general, I also felt like they were judging you based on your clothing style. If you dress simple, you will be seen as poor. 2. The rooms need upgrading. Very old hotel. We had to change rooms because there were ants in the room. 3. The only positive I can mention is that the cleaners were incredibly nice. They greeted and spoke nicely to you. The elderly doorman was also very helpful and nice. 4. I experienced that when there was a municipal meeting at the hotel, everyone was suddenly nice to you. 5. Receptionists do not respond to emails. Does not confirm your request.

I’ve stayed here a couple times over the years. The hotel is older and needs some updating for sure , my rating is based on staff , really great staff especially the guys out front. They bend over backwards to ensure you are taken care of. The only issue I had was with the restaurant out front , terrible food and very pricey. There is a chicken stand owned by hotel that grills chickens that are good but the restaurant is brutal, we were the only people there mid afternoon and lunch took 45 min to come out and when it did the chicken was so dry it wasn’t edible. Sone decent restaurants around the corner though.

This hotel is now quite dated but still quite good VFM Decent breakfast and a very nice room. Great location. Ton Taan market and wats very close Nice pool but quite dirty. Lots of cigarette ends on the floor for several days and dirty mens toilet. Plus no towels available on one of the days I stayed there. Yes I would stay again.

The Kosa Hotel has known better days, to judge from the frayed carpet and wallpaper in some corrridors, but the rooms are comfortable, with bathtubs and not only showers. The small number of electrical outlets is a problem, however, in an age of laptops and cell phones. Good breakfast combining Thai and European food. Shuttle service to the airport. Rather good location in downtown Khon Kaen. The staff is very efficient and friendly.

Quite a nice characterfully decorated and laid out hotel. I liked it. Ideal location for the Khon Kean's westerner and Thai bars and restaurants; they are just a few moments' walk from the hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are well airconditioned. Our room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. No outside noise, room very quiet. The only thing missing for me was a kettle and coffee in the room, but coffee and tea is available on room service or in the restaurant.

Originally booked as part of test and go scheme for day 5 but with the rule change it was a more regular stay in the end. Have to say the staff here are amazing. This is a Thai owned hotel and complete respect to the owner who didn’t lay his staff off during the pandemic, choosing to stay open and adapt to the changing climate. Hotel is central, traditional and clean and our children loved the swimming pool. The bed was super comfortable. We are breakfast, very good, and at the end of our stay the hotel had a reasonably priced transfer service to the airport. Overall, an excellent experience and just wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back.

A very old hotel. I stayed at the front building above the lobby. I can see that the room has not been renovated for so long (Room #403). The closet door can hardly be slided. The balcony isn't clean. The bathroom is acceptably clean however everything is aged. I personally recommend adding a couple more hundreds Baht and choose the next door hotel, Pullman, or a bit further off like Avani or previously known as Centara. Keep in mind that the two I recommend are more expensive than Kosa However, all staff here are nice. But if I have a choice, this would probably be my first and last.

My partner and I where greeted at the door by a very friendly chearfull guy, who took our luggage up to our room for us. The room was very clean and tidy with a city view. Breakfast was was great and I was very impressed with the imaculantly dressed staff in their uniforms. The service was fantastic, with the young waitress, wearing a badge saying trainee was wonderful, clearing our table and looking after us. The grounds were well kept and I did admire the large karp fish in the big pond adjacent to the restaurant. The hotel is very centralu located to everything including some nice bars and eateries, with a big shopping mall across the road. Overall a very nice stay with very pleasant hospitablestaff. I would definitely stay at Kosa again.
