Nice location and staff very helpful in a very quiet area. The only thing is the location it is rather cut off from the nearest towns. Krabi town is about an hours drive and Aonang is about 20 minutes drive.

This hotel could be world class ......but it isn't! Why? Because........... You pay extra for aircon......but it only works at very limited times. You want to keep your tablet, smartphone, passport etc safe......... .......no safe deposit box! You want to keep your drinks cool........no fridge! You want to go to the loo in the middle of the night....take a torch!.... ....the electricity... More

We stayed three nights at the emerald bungalow resort. The room and the food was good. The beach is very nice because there are only a few small resorts in this area. So it is not that packed as the other beaches in Ao nang, which is the big tourist area around. In the evening you can take very nice... More

The best part about this place is the beach. There are not many resorts in this area so we practically had the whole beach to ourselves even though it was the super holiday season when we were there (29 Dec to 1 Jan 2015). The waters were very calm and clean, and had none of the long tail boats coming... More

We went to spend a few here over new year 2014. When we got here the receptionist tried to put us in a room without aircon. I had to show him my reservation as a proof that I had paid extra for a room with aircon. He finally said we were gonna get the room with air con. We were... More

We stayed with Kiat at The Emerald Bungalow over Christmas 2014. We loved the private beach that never had more then 4 people on it. Every other beach we went to was overflowing with tourists. The rooms are modest but clean & comfortable. We opted for the air conditioned room and it was nice to escape the heat! Kiat was... More

Stayed here as part of an organised trip and was made to feel really welcome by the owner Kiat on arrival. This is the ultimate in seclusion, no wi fi or TV but that was a major plus for us. The beautiful beach is just a few steps away and virtually deserted, heaven! The food, as prepared by the owner,... More

The Emerald Bungalow Resort is really good choice for those who would like to take a rest in peaceful place with almost empty of people beach. We stayed there for 10 nights. Our bungalow was with view trough the garden to the sea, with wide terrace and was cleaned every day. It was not luxury stay, but we weren't looking... More

Stayed here Feb 2014. Really enjoy the 5 nights I spent here. Booked car to collect me from the airport (800THB) and so arrived hassle-free to the resort. Loved the area and the quietness of the beach here. The beach is stunning at both high and low tide. The resort is very laid-back and is run the owner Kiat and... More
