Kata View Guesthouse provided our family with a wonderful stay in their spacious family room. The room's simple yet appealing design, featuring floor tiles and wooden furniture, made it a cozy retreat. We loved the ample storage space and two balconies, perfect for relaxing. The family running the guesthouse was fantastic. They truly cared about our comfort and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. One time, they even replaced a broken light over the bed without us mentioning it - talk about attentive service! Our stay at Kata View Guesthouse felt just like visiting our favourite auntie's place during the holidays. The warm and friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home, unlike the usual impersonal hotels. The guesthouse had some nice extras too. We enjoyed the spacious canteen with coffee making facilities, a microwave, and all the essentials. The property also offers laundry services, massage parlour, tours desk, and bike rent. In conclusion, Kata View Guesthouse was a fantastic place that exceeded our expectations. We truly felt welcome and cared for during our stay. Without a doubt, we'll be returning here on our next visit—it's our perfect retreat in Kata!

We got lucky and found Kata View when we needed to change hotels. Our building was well off the street and very quiet. Tip and the other staff were super nice and helpful. Internet really good too. Beds came with a top sheet— rare in SE Asia. Many thanks for a great stay.

My wife and I rented a scooter from April for 4 days. We were extremely happy with our scooter and the service from April We found April to be honest and kind even if she does support Chelsea Soccer Club😀😀.

Everything one could want in a guesthouse, close to Kata / Kata Noi beaches and lots of restaurants. As an older solo traveller, I wanted a private room with ensuite bathroom. This guesthouse is safe, clean, reasonably priced, nice people who own and manage the place, solid building so not so noisy. Good internet, fridge, hot and cold shower, airconditioning and daily room cleaning service. Beach towels are available at the front desk. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

We have just spent 5 nights in this guesthouse with our children aged 9 and 10. We had a family room with an extra bed (extra bed 300B per day). Rooms were beautiful and spotless, fridge in room, drying rack to hang towels out on balcony, free water, free WiFi, great air con and awesome shower-hot water and pressure great. Loved the location, easy 7 minute walk to the beach, lots of good restaurants, grocery store and other shops close by. Some of the staff not too helpful but may have just been a language barrier, one awesome staff member who was easy to talk to and ask for help with things. Bedding could have been better our kids basically had a towel for a blanket while we had nice sheets and a blanket. We didn't book tours here but booked our boat to Krabi. Great guesthouse overall would definitely recommend.

Having stayed at this guest house a number of times I have found the staff and location good. A ten minute walk too the beach and having massage available is nice. The staff are very helpful. There are a number of good eateries close by and local shops.

Rented our scooters from the place and there is one girl at the reception who is really cool and helpful and speaks really good English. She gave us the map of Phuket, marked the best places to visit with suggestions which roads to choose and times to go. Scooter was 250bahts (~7euros) for a day and if longer period taken you’ll have discount price too. If around this place I recommend to rent yourself a scooter from here, you’ll get a map and lots of recommendations of places to visit and a good chat with this cool girl who can tell you plenty about locals and traditions.

I was so impressed with this place! Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights on our 6 week trip of Thailand and we didn’t know what to expect from the photos and for the price. We were told when we checked in that they had upgraded our room, we then taken to our hotel by April, one of the few receptionist. At first our room looked quite dated furniture and decor wise but it was very clean and we had a balcony with a great view of the mountain that Big Buddha is on top. The Hotel has great WiFi, one of the best we’ve found in Thailand with a comfy bed and very good aircon During our stay we hired a scooter from the hotel multiple times but one day we had got into a bit of trouble. On the second day we were driving to a view point when our back tyre went flat and we were unable to drive it anywhere and we were stuck in pretty much the middle of nowhere. We rang April and half an hour later she turned up to save us! She rode the broken scooter to a garage and gave us her bike to ride whilst we followed her. She offered to let us use her bike to go off to the view point on but we declined and just followed her to the garage. I honestly can’t say how much she had done for us and how helpful she was during our 5 day stay. April if you’re reading this, you’re best! From Adam and Hannah

This is a lovely hotel in a great location - local restaurants and shops on the doorstep and the 'centre' of Kata and the beach just a ten minute walk away. The rooms are nice and you can see the Big Buddha from the balcony, and the hotel offers a cheap laundry service which is great if you're in Thailand for a while. The staff in this hotel are fantastic and can't do enough for you, bringing in your laundry if it rains for example. One girl who works there doing everything from laundry to reception to cleaning did me a huge favour. She speaks very good English, and we explained to her that I had left my new Adidas trainers (bought especially for the holiday) in a car that we rented for the day. She rang the boss of the company for me, and after he told her they were not there and we were suspicious about it, she gave us directions to the location of the rental place and lent us her motor scooter to get there. Luckily for me, my trainers had been put to one side and a member of staff retrieved them for me - the manager either didn't know about this or had lied! When we were returned, she wouldn't take any money from me as a token of my thanks, so I tipped her for my laundry instead! Lovely lovely girl.

I went diving for for the whole day, when i came back the door to my room was left open. Seems like the personal forgot to close it after cleaning. I don´t mean it the door was not locked, it was standing wide open. That is just not acceptable at all, i told the manager but seems like she didn´t care too much. Luckily nothing was stolen. Room was quite nice, except for way too many ants. Travelling Asia a lot i´m used to a good amount, but there where just too many thanks to big holes below the balcony door.
