Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I used to be pretty active in leaving reviews on Trip Advisor. Sweet Dreams is one good reason to get back to writing reviews. Trust anyone creative enough to make a sleeping owl 🦉 their logo to provide the best accommodations possible. Krit and Apple made our quick stay in Phetchaburi memorable by essentially mapping out our itinerary for us—we got to travel to the must-see’s and more. Trust their recommendations, especially when it comes to food. Their place being at the outskirts of the town center should not be an issue because they are able to find private tuk-tuk drivers to take you around at extremely affordable rates. And, should you decide to give walking home to the guest house a try, it is a leisurely walk on paved sidewalks. Next to Khao Wang and Than Khao Luang Cave, Sweet Dreams should be in your Phetchaburi musts! (I am writing this before heading back home. Just making sure I am able to write this review before the daily grind gets in the way. That’s how much I want people to know how great our stay at Sweet Dreams was.😀)

Excellent value for money. The guesthouse is new with minimalist decor. The rooms were nice and clean, the hosts were great giving us travel guides and restaurant suggestions. Beds are comfortable. It's a little hard to find on google maps (especially at night), you just have to look a little more closely and you'll be fine. I would return.

Dear Khun Patarapol, Thank you so much for sharing us this nice review. This is meaningful to us. It is a real pleasure to read your comment and I am pleased to see that you did fully enjoy all of your visit and wish to return. Referring to our location, we are newly opened (for 4 months) and not located on the main road. We are trying to communicate with our guests before arrival and guiding the location by sending photo map, sharing location GPS or explaining the route on phone. Moreover, we are planing to make some more signboards on the main road and the street. Anyway, thank you again to mention this. We are still working on it. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future and we would like to thank you once again to having stayed with us! Sincerely, Sweet Dreams Owners

I stayed here about a month ago for 3 days. Phetchaburi is a smaller province in Thailand but so much to do. My girlfriend and I arrived late at night and Krit (owner) & his wife came immediately to help us with our baggage and get us settled in. When we arrived to the room everything was extremely clean and tidy, the style was very unique and beautiful. The next day, Krit and his wife assisted us in suggesting a few places to go and we rented there brand new bicycles and also received a map. Throughout our stay, there hospitality was beyond expectations and it truly made a difference for our first time in a new city.

Dear Mr. Spencer, Thank you very much for staying with us during your trip at Phetchaburi. We do appreciate your time of sharing us a great review. As the owners, nothing is important than customer voice. It is encouraging us to move on and improve more and more. It is pleasant to hear that you had a good time with us and made compliments on our room condition and decoration. Rather than that, you make us feel that we have accomplished our goal of doing this business ; we offer the comfortable accommodation with the reasonable price and good service. We, as hosts, are delighted to welcome all tourists both Thai and foreigners to visit Phetchaburi. We hope that this small city will give you a memorable experience and wish to return here some days in the future. We are looking forward to welcoming you back here with us. Sincerely, Sweet Dreams Owners

Had a great stay here the lady and man that run the place are awesome! They helped me very well with my next tour and made my day very nice! They gave me a bike to explore the city and that was great, a bit hot but great. The caves are right around the corner and the tempels too. Would definitely recommend this place!

Very good guest house. It's new and the rooms are well thought out and designed. Unlike other new builds I've stayed in recently in Thailand everything worked.
The room was large with plenty of space, a chair, table, bedside table and a handy hanging rail with shelves. The air con was very good and the fridge wasn't attached to the key card power control so drinks stayed cold when we were out. Everything was very clean, there was a window at the front and balcony at back so room was nice and light. There were lots of sockets to charge phones etc. and wifi was good.
The bathroom was nicely finished, the shower even had a shower curtain so the water didn't go everywhere as it does in most wet-room style bathrooms, shower very powerful. A microwave was available to use and in the morning hot water, coffee and malted chocolate.
Location is out of town but there are free bikes you can use, the most comfortable ones we've used after months in SE Asia. (Tip: as it's new the songthaew driver at the train station hadn't heard of it, he knew 2N guest house, so we said we were going there as Sweet Dreams is opposite)
Owners are very nice and helpful, gave us information on things to do here and when we moved on, also phoned a taxi/songthaew to take us to the train and got a better rate than we paid on the way.

We stayed 2 nights at Sweet Dreams Guest House while bicycling through Thailand.

Located in a safe quiet neighborhood, this sparkling clean guest house seems more like a Boutique Hotel, with all the attention to detail and care the owners have put into this gem.

- Real screens on the windows and patio doors
- A medium size fridge with complimentary water and low cost drinks and snacks
- A selection of books
- instructions for the remote controls
- Kettle
- Nice balcony with comfortable chairs
- Hair dryer
- Slippers
- Large Shampoo and body wash dispensers

The bed was firm.

Breakfast is Continental in a nice shaded garden setting.

Our hosts were gracious, helpful and very proficient in English.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Sweet Dreams; a great stay! Our host was simply wonderful, providing a very warm hospitality at all times. It was a pleasure to interact with her and her very nice family.
The room was quite large, super clean and comfortable. Bedding was excellent; WiFi flawless. Breakfast in the morning was very good, frankly a well appreciated plus compared to so many other similarly priced guesthouses. A delicious and pleasant way to start the day!
Our host was kind enough to give us two bikes during our stay; ideal for visiting the city and its immediate surrounding. In short, this was a PERFECT stay! Sweet Dreams is now OUR place to stay in Phetchaburi. :-)

We originally booked for two nights but decided to stay an extra night. We have been travelling for nearly 4 months now and this is one of the best places. This place is family run and they are so nice. The room was great, very clean. The bed was hard but comfortable enough. The room was spacious. The shower was hot and the WiFi was good. Breakfast was basic but delicious. The owner also hired us a motorcycle to explore the area. Which is beautiful and so much to see. We just loved our stay here and were sad to leave. Would definitely recommend without a doubt. Thank you for a marvellous stay

I was really surprised by the warm welcome and especially all help from those great guys at Sweet Dreams. The room is clean, spacey, comfortable and even with a fridge.
A bit away from Phetchaburi town but that really doesn`t matter as you can make use of their free bicycles when exploring the city and its surroundings.. Don`t miss out the fantastic cave only a 15 minutes ride away.
