The restaurant is set in an old teak house overlooking the river with large monitor lizards in the river. The staff are friendly but the food does not live up to the setting. We had breakfast there which was poor value for money, the continental consisted of toast with jam, half a cup of nescafe and a syrupy drink whilst...

From the minute you enter the doors of this gorgeous old teak house that sits discretely on the edge of the river, the shuttered, open windows mimic the days of past, no glass panes, you are instant connected to the vista of green and river (including HUGE water monitors). In the middle of the floor is an unconscious cat and...

This is a small hidden restaurant right next to the river, modest decoration, but great food & refreshing drinks, try the pineapple crush with fresh fruit, it's perfect for the weather! They also have a nice view of the Phetchaburi river you can luckily watch a reptile (pretty much like Komodo) while you eating.

I walked past this place to start with, but went back to give it go, the food is fantastic, not expensive and what a view over the river, my lips are still tingling with flavours, I will definitely return here to eat, great staff even if English is a little difficult but at least their menus have English subtitles. 10...

Great value for money - you wouldn't want to pay a huge amount for a stay here, but for the very cheap price it's fantastic. The owners are lovely and there's a nice riverside bar / restaurant area which plays great music (although I would suggest taking advantage of Phetchaburi's awesome street food instead!). The rooms are basic with shared...

They are recommended by lonely planet. Just little bit disappointed with the food. Our friend and my husband ordered two different kinds of beef dishes recommended by the owners, and I ordered green Thai chicken curry ,When our orders arrived the beef was not really cooked and my chicken curry the veg. was not cooked . One of our Thai friends...

The restaurant attached to this small guesthouse and adjacent to one of the towns main bridges, is a charming place to enjoy a quiet lunch or a relaxing dinner. One side of this characterful restaurant has a series of very attractive timber window shutters that open directly onto the meandering waters of the Mae Nam Phetchaburi River. The Thai menu...

The owners here are very friendly and helpful. I had a twin fan room for 240 bht a night which I thought was a good price. The rooms are very basic and the toilets are across a small courtyard. They have a nice restaurant where I ate and drank in the evening sat by the window overlooking the river. WiFi...

I cycled into Phetchaburi and found this guest house. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. I had a basic room with two single beds and a fan. There were toilets and showers across the corridor from my room. Cold water shower only but in the heat it was very welcome. The bar/restaurant area was cosy and had...
