This is an outstanding guesthouse and without question one of the finest that I have stayed in during my travels in Thailand and the wider region. The owners are the wonderful Nit and Nisa who greeted me so warmly on arrival that I felt like family returning home. English speaking, they are incredible hosts who really care about your comfort and well-being and clearly work very hard to ensure that your needs are met. The six well maintained and meticulously clean rooms (three upstairs and three down) are light, airy and quiet and all have private balconies. Quite by chance my visit coincided with the spectacular annual 10 day “Phra Nakhon Khiri-Muang Phet Fair” and from my upstairs balcony (room six) I had a clear view of the evening fireworks from the illuminated Phra That Chom Phet pagoda. The freshly prepared delicious breakfast, served from 7am and included in the price, is taken in their peaceful garden. Each day my breakfast changed a little so that one day it might include sticky rice and banana cake and another ‘patongo’ (the delicious Thai version of the doughnut, a blob of lightly sweet dough deep fried until it is fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside). Guests can also help themselves to 24 hour complimentary tea, coffee (sachets or Nescafe Gold granulated), hot chocolate and biscuits (sweet or savoury). The guesthouse is situated in a quiet location but close enough to everything you need to see and do. That said, free bikes are available for guests and scooters can be rented for just 300 baht. Nit and Nisa know everything about Phetchaburi, even producing their own map for guests, and they provided me with much useful information on how to best spend my time there. They also provided me with invaluable information on public transport options for when I had to reluctantly move on. 2NN was a home from home, I really cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough and without hesitation I would stay here again. Thank you, Nit and Nisa, for being such amazing hosts! My stay was absolutely perfect and I enjoyed Phetchaburi all the more thanks to you!

Stayed here numerous times over the last 10 years. The surprising thing is that nothing changes. The area is more built up, but 2N remains an island of peace and tranquility, run/owned by the ever helpful sisters, Nit and Nisa. Just read the other reviews.

Stayed 3 nights at the lovely 2N guesthouse run by delightful sisters Nita and Nisa. Just outside the town and 2 km from train station. Free bicycles to get around the.main sights. About 10 minutes from the night food market.

Only 6 rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. Thai style in the family compound. The sisters speak very good English and can help with travel advice.
Highly recommended

Nit and Nisa set up and run their guest-house with a level of attention to detail that is rarely seen in this price range. Impeccable facilities, warm welcome, great service, delicious breakfast, helpful advice.

The building has a porch up front, while each room has its own balcony in the back, so there is always a sunny side and a shaded side to choose from; the same goes for the seating areas in the garden.

We spent 4 nights there, and rented their semi-automatic scooter -- great, well-maintained bike, no complaints there, either.

If you want to stay slightly tucked away from the old town yet only a short bicycle or scooter commute to anything this great city has to offer, you couldn't really ask for more than 2N.

Enjoyed our one night’s stay here prior to a local race. Good location to explore the town. Owner super friendly and accommodating. Room was basic but clean and had all basic amenities. Breakfast is included - simple and tasty. All in all would recommend any time and would stay again

We chose this as a central location for some of our sightseeing plans around the Phetchaburi area. The rooms were cozy and clean and met the needs of our family (traveling with four adults and two children), which occupied four of the rooms during our stay. The guesthouse is located near many attractions, but tucked back in a quiet area away from heavy traffic, which was nice. I cannot say enough nice things about our host, Nit. She was so welcoming and friendly, offering many suggestions for activities in the area. The breakfast was a generous portion of bread/pastry and fruit, along with juice, coffee, and tea. We were served breakfast on the outdoor patio, which was peaceful and very enjoyable. The bonus to all of this is the very reasonable rates. We would highly recommend this for anyone looking for simple, clean, comfortable accommodations.

Small guesthouse, delicious breakfast included, with fresh fruit, toast, juice, coffee and a Thai treat. You can have breakfast in the garden. Clean rooms with everything you need, a little terrace at the back. I got my own bike to go around town, really nice to have my own transportation and take part in the town's daily routine.
The owners are two sisters, who seem to know exactly what you need, whether it is advice, a map, a chat or privacy.

This guesthouse is located about a 15-minute walk from the city centre along a narrow road. It is easy enough to walk into the city as long as you take care to get out of the way of all the mopeds. If you arrive with your own wheels, a GPS device or Google Maps is a good idea since the small soi where the guesthouse is located is quite tricky to find, the first time. There is some parking available and the guesthouse also has bikes to lend out to guests.

The rooms cost 580 Baht including breakfast and, for that price, you get a three-part room.

Firstly, there is a large bedroom with beautiful white walls and pink curtains. In my room, there was a large double bed, fridge containing 2 bottles of water, wardrobe with clothes hangers, table with a mounted mirror, a TV set with hundreds of channels nearly all in Thai except for a few in Lao, one in Burmese, one in Dutch (BVN on channel 263 which is the one and only European channel) and one in English (the international Thai channel, NBT World, on channel 272), wooden TV stand, small bookshelf including a "Thai for Beginners" book, table-top lamp and air conditioner.

The second room is the bathroom which is tiled white and green. The room is very spacious with a wash basin, toilet and a stepped down shower area with warm water and plenty of it. Hand wash, soap, shampoo, conditioner and good towels are provided.

Thirdly, there is a balcony consisting of two chairs and a small table plus a clothes-drying stand which can be placed on the balcony. The view is of some trees and the soi where the guesthouse is located.

Breakfast is served in the garden between 8 and 10am. It comprises of toast with butter and marmalade, some tasty Thai breakfast specialities and a selection of fresh fruit plus tea or coffee and orange juice with second helpings offered.

There is also good, fast secure WiFi on the premises which works well in the rooms.

The two sisters who run the guesthouse are very special and treat their guests as family. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They will advise you where to visit, how to get there on a useful map and where to have lunch or dinner. They also run a car service to pick up guests from Suvarnabhumi Airport for 1700 Baht.

The welcome at this guesthouse makes it unique and is one of the best guesthouses I have stayed at anywhere. This should be the first choice for anyone wishing to stay in Phetchaburi. I hope I can come back and stay again.

As our 50th anniversary approached, we started planning a several-week visit to Thailand--to celebrate being together that many years, and also take a long-delayed honeymoon. Our relationship with Nit began in Columbia, SC as we met at Thai Orchid where she worked for well over a decade before returning home to Phetchaburi to open 2N Guesthouse with her sister, Nisa. E-mail and Facebook communication prepared our way toward a wonderful, 3-week trip-of-a-lifetime at the impeccable B&B they designed, built, and super-efficiently run. Everything one wants or needs is anticipated and available--you don't have to take much more than clothes and a toothbrush. That Nit and Nisa are university-educated and speak Thai and English with ease are icing on an already wonderful "cake." Other reviewers mention cleanliness--one video account asserts you could literally eat off the floor--and we totally agree! Again, the 2N's planned every aspect of their enterprise to make you feel welcome and at home--their home, which is right next door to the six tastefully appointed guest rooms. The Guesthouse location is just far enough away from bustling Phetchaburi traffic to provide restful quiet, yet is within easy biking or walking distance. Various taxis are, of course, readily available. Our main goal was enjoying Thai food at it's source of origin. Nit and Nisa insured this happened each breakfast meal, and other meals as well. They know precisely where the best local restaurants and other indulgences are located--they can expertly direct you there and will accompany you with little prompting! They're natural-born "concierges" in every sense of the word. In short, Nit and Nisa are dedicated professionals such that we can't recommend 2N Guesthouse too highly or enthusiastically; you simply have to experience its wonders yourself in order to believe places like this still exist anywhere!
