Rooms look new.
Take a while to make the room cool as it was two bedrooms suite.

I don't like the design of shower room.
Even if there was a curtain between toilet and shower area but water splashed on another side anyway.

No elevator so elder please beware.

Staffs were friendly and were always smiling.

We enjoyed our one night stay here at the J-House Hotel in Phetchaburi. We were upgraded to a suite when all the standard rooms were taken. The room was large, clean, and modern. The bathroom was absolutely huge and had plenty of hot water while the bathroom fixtures were modern and convenient. This hotel had a very new look and feel to it which added to our experience. The wifi was slightly slow but was still acceptable. We were on the 4th floor and the hotel didn't have an elevator which made it slightly annoying. But the real pet peeve I had were the pillows in the bed were so large that it made it difficult to get comfortable. However, the bed itself was so warm and comfortable that we still were able to manage a good night's sleep. The air con was nice and efficient and we were able to control the temp to a perfect setting. Overall, you can't beat a 1200 baht per night room where we paid only 600. This was a very comfortable value hotel experience.

We spent three nights at this hotel in December 2018. Excellent location in the town (but a bit hard to find the first time around), near the main highway; also walking distance from a convenience store and a very large supermarket. The two-bedroom suite (family room) we stayed in was large, bright and comfortable. Staff were willing to help and spoke decent English. We spent most days in Pak Thale for birdwatching - hotel was well-situated for that.

On this trip we traveled from Bangkok to Kaeng Krachan, and then on to Phetchaburi (and back to Bangkok). Through this entire trip, we engaged the services of Nut for driving us around. He is a cheerful and helpful guy. Very safe driver. Helped us find a vegetarian restaurant close to J House. When we were birdwatching he would drop us off and be available for pickup. Would highly recommend contacting him at +66-85-373-0375 if you need a driver around Phetchaburi (or anywhere else nearby).

Good : simple clean and spacious room to meet our basic needs, a bed, TV, sink, shower, aircon, clothes hanger and a fridge. what more can you ask for for the price you pay. but the service there was outstanding for the amount we paid, upon arrival - we were early, but they worked together to clean our rooms up and we could check-in in less than 15mins. there were free bicycles for rent and 250baht scooters for rent, everything was well-maintained. they had a small pantry at the reception that we could make coffee for free, cup noodles were at a small price and a water cooler. Wifi there was fast and working well.

Bad : the only downside was the location, make sure you look out for the green sign board to make a turn left into the place. it was abit hard to catch it at first.

Stayed here for one night. Very clean and spacious room. No elevator but luckily we were able to get a room on the first floor so we didn't have to haul our luggage to the top. The staff was super friendly although I don't think they speak much English. We were able to leave our laundry with them for three days while we went to Kaeng Krachen and picked it up on our way back. I noticed that the hotel has nice bicycles available for free and scooters for a modest fee. Didn't get to use them but they looked like fun!

The room was very clean. Nice bathroom with walk in shower. A little balcony to dry clothes on. Good AC. The hotel has scooters to rent. Which you will need because the hotel is not close to Wats or the old area. Some street food restaurants set up at night but about a 10 to 15 minutes walk to them on a busy road. The staff is nice. English is basic during the day. Night desk person ..no English. Plenty of free parking. No restaurant in hotel. Lobby no AC as well as no hallways , open air hotel. Their is a farm nearby so you will hear roosters and dogs. As well as cows being walked past the hotel to a feed lot. But fairly quiet hotel.

When we initialy tried to get to this hotel the local taxi driver had no idea which hotel we meant. After some communal Google earth mapping we arrived at the spot. And wow! We couldnt believe this was the hotel we booked for such a low price! Amazing friendly staff and the rooms are brand new and superbig and clean! Afterwards we discovered that this hotel was only three months old so no wonder that the taxi drivers dont know this location by heart (yet). Ok it isnt located smack down in the city center but the taxi's are really cheap and you can also rent a motorbike at the reception. All in all a very pleasant surprise!
