Booked this on wotif at a good rate because it was advertised as close to the airport and it was, only about five minutes drive. This made it very handy as I had a late flight in and early flight out the next day. The driver was at the airport as advertised (I had entered my flight number under the booking requests when I booked the room). The hotel consists of small bungalow-type units set apart from each other in a garden-like setting. As others have commented, there is nothing to do in the area really (at least it appears that way) and so it is a place to go just to sleep. Breakfast is available at request and extra charge. I did not bother as I would be at the airport soon after getting up and there's plenty of food outlets there. The room was spacious, with a good firm bed,

I just returned from a two week trip through Thailand and want to recommend this hotel to other travelers as easy accomodations near the airport. It is hard to argue with the price and convenience, only 5 minutes from the airport, with free pickup. Admittedly, our driver was about 25 minutes late picking us up and unfortunately we did not have a phone number so we just waited until someone showed up. We paid for a third bed as another friend was meeting us late at night but she missed her connection and the hotel offered to refund the price of the extra bed. We had the breakfast which was fine, as good as other hotels. I am not if it is near a beach or anything else, but if you need a place to stay for one night due to late flights/early flights, I would highly recommend

i booked tanamas house for my first night stay in phuket since arriving time of my flight is very late (11:40pm), i just need a hotel which near by the airport, so a week before my trip i contacted tanamas, i gave all the flight info to the manager (Payungsak Rattanamas Mr.) and asked him to pick me up since they have free shuttle service....... When i walked out of the airport (almost 12pm), there was no one holding a card with my name so i waited for like 10-15 mins hope someone will be showing up, but then i found out most of the travelers on the same flight had already been picked up by their hotels/travel agent, i started to call the hotel and there was no one to answer, so i waited a little bit longer and hope he was out for picking me up... i've been waiting for 30-45

Response from SaK2522, Manager at Tanamas House
Responded 21 Jun 2010
We received the last email from customer to confirm the booking, but 3 minutes after that the customer called us to ask the room price and meeting point at the airport. We told them about that and asked them that they want to confirm the booking or not ? They told us on phone that they would call us back if they wanted to confirm the booking. So we didn't hold the room for them yet. Until arrival date, we didn't received any telephone call from customer or email to re-confirm the booking. So customer didn't have any confirmation from us yet. The reservation office close at midnight, customer who have booking confirmation already and want check in after midnight, they can inform us in advance for late check in.

My partner and I stayed here for one night as we had an early flight the next morning and the hotel offered free drop off which was good. The hotel is advertised as having a restaurant, but when we arrived and wanted to get some food, I was told there was no restaurant at the hotel...no big deal, so we decided to go exploring and see what we could find. The area where we were was very dark, and there were stray dogs and shanty houses everywhere. In the morning when we were driven to the airport in light of day it didn't look like there was really anything else to do in the area. There was no foot paths on the main road and it was very precarious walking to find something. When we did find something, the food was pretty ordinary, and after chatting to some tourists they advised

Offered free pick up & lift back to airport, very clean & nice bungalows in a quiet location about 15 mins walk to beautiful Naiyang Beach. Ideal place to stay, my flight was late & i was flying out the following afternoon. Very friendly. Ideal location if youre looking for something close to airport & away from hustle of the west coast rersorts.

After much searching on the internet for budget accommodation close to the airport, we chanced on Tanamas House. It is just a 5 minute drive from the airport, ideal for late or early morning flights. The hotel provides complimentary pickup and dropoff to the airport. It is also near the quiet Nai Yang beach with not too many tourists. The rooms are excellent, very spacious & clean. Beds are large and comfortable. They provide all amenities as in other hotels except for in-room safe. The staff, although have little knowledge of English, are extremely helpful & friendly and one of the ladies got along very well with my children. Their breakfast is limited to a choice between 3 set options but it was substantial. Dining options in the area are fewer than the other beaches

We stayed at Tanamas House for one night before flying out from Phuket Airport the following morning. We had one of 2 spacious rooms opposite reception (as opposed to one of the bungalows). The room was very spacious with a generously sized bathroom, both were very well appointed and we had pleasant terrace outside. Despite being just off the main road, Tanamas is quiet and very pleasantly set in well-maintained gardens. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We would recommend Tanamas House to anyone looking for accommodation near the airport - very pleasant and comfortable and excellent value for money.

This is a great place to stay. We flew in to Phuket late one evening and although we had bookings at Tanamas House, we were unsure how to get there. Fortunately, we had the phone number so we called the owner. He immediately jumped in to his car and drove out to the airport to pick us up even though it was nearly midnight. The Bungalows are very nice, extremely clean and comfortable. They all have a private balcony and the rooms themselves have Air-conditioning, Minibar, Cable TV and most importantly, Wireless Internet Access in each room. Each Bungalow has a private bathroom with shower. They are set in a lovely garden which is well looked after. The owner speaks reasonably good English and he, and all the staff, were very friendly and extremely helpful. Tanamas House is

The hotel is located in a very nice and quit area. The people that own and run the place are very nice and helpfull. The rooms were very clean and well looked after. This is a resort that you would want to goto if you want a quit and restfull holiday. The people that own and run the place will do every thing they can to make sure you get to the places you want to go. They transport you back and forth to the beach when you want to go. There is a market just down the road from them three times a week. When you fly in you can let them know and they will pick you up at the airport and take you back when you leave.

Tanamas Guest House is only 5 minutes to Phuket Airport and 5 minutes to Nai Yang Beach by Tuk Tuk. It is a really nice place to stay if you doesn't like to stay in a place which too noisy (out of town). This is my first time travel to Phuket and thanks for Agoda to provide the full details and information about the hotel in Phuket and finally we choose Tanamas House. The reason that we select Tanamas House is: Nearer to airport and I doesn't like to spend too long hour on the journey to the airport. Time is important to us. I rather spend it for my holiday instead on siting inside the car without doing anything! 2) Like I say, Tanamas Guest house is really peaceful guest house to stay as they only have 6 guest room with individual building (Like chalet but they call it
