After arriving at the hotel at two in the morning, we were assigned an absolutely appalling room—furniture in disastrous condition, dirt and stench everywhere. The next day, after complaining to the delegate, we were assigned a different room in the main building, which looked one hundred percent better. I think the breakfasts are reasonable, you have a choice of sweet (pancakes, yogurt, croissants, cereals,...), salty (salami, baguettes, eggs, sausages,...), and fruit. There is also quite a large selection for lunch and dinner, although it is pretty similar every day. The waiters are very friendly and smiling. Big thanks to the waiter named Chaker Aslouj, who took very good care of us all week. The pool and the sea are clean and you can usually find a free sunbed. It's nice that there are waiters on the beach and around the pool who bring you drinks and try to keep everything clean. The animation team here is really friendly and always smiling, they can make your holiday very pleasant, both children and adults will have fun with them. Every evening around nine there is a mini disco for children, then a show and at eleven the music stops. Despite a few complications, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. I am very pleased that the staff is always smiling, pleasant and helpful. Thanks again to everyone and I recommend this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel at 11 am and waited for the room with a sea view that we had paid for. At 2 pm, we get a room with a view of the road, and after complaining and waiting at 5 pm we enter a room with a partial view of the sea. We notice that neither the refrigerator nor the safe are working, we are waiting for the repair for 3 days each.

The food is ok for the first 5 days, after that you get bored with the monotonous selection. The only thing that changes is the selection of cakes, which have always been outstanding. In the afternoon, they bake pancakes and pizza in the restaurant on the beach, which is also a great thing. Breakfast is the same every day, and lunch is much better at the restaurant on the beach. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the staff is pleasant. The beach is great, but there are jellyfish in the sea.

Honestly, for what we paid, the service should be much better. We were disappointed that we had to wait 3-4 days for each response from the hotel, which a five-star hotel should not allow itself. The least they could do was move us to a room that is more functional and in which, unlike ours, the ventilation works. And believe me, during that period there were rooms on the 4th floor that were empty.

However, what service and responsiveness, such a review.
A couple of failures happened in a row, which dissuaded us from the idea of visiting this hotel again.

Having read some reviews I can see where people are coming from in their descriptions/experiences. Not a bad looking hotel. Nice reception area as you would expect for a 5*. The rooms are average; the room we were given was shoddy, enamel peeling off the bath, old brown furnicher and threadbare dirty carpets. We had paid for a sea view room, which this room didn't have. When we explained this we were given a different room which was much nicer, same layout etc but more pleasing to the eye and a sea view. This was a common theme as others experienced the same issues with shoddy rooms. Pool is nice and big but there were not many umbrella shaded areas. Beach was very nice with plenty of shaded areas. Water sports available nearby but not on top of us. Food was good overall. Breakfast continental not English. Plenty of salad for lunch and dinner, with a hot selection also. It's a bit repetitive but we didn't find it an issue. Deserts were very nice. Staff were very good, polite and helpful. Room was cleaned everyday and tidied up, no issues here. Drinks were OK, not a massive selection and no premium brands (lager was not that nice but that's personal taste). I can see why people question the 5* status but overall we had a nice holiday there and would go back. There is a nice shopping mall a short taxi ride away; the marina is nice with restaurants etc. In conclusion, the hotel looks tired in places and you could gamble on having a decent room, we may have been lucky to have been moved rooms as it was not busy . It's a popular hotel with quite a few people going there regularly. Other hotels may have similar issues. If you have been to Egypt all inclusive you may be disappointed in this hotel, its easy to compare places you have been; just bare in mind this is a cheap place to go and as a result there is a compromise. Service was overall good although poor on a few occasions Oh, and there is entertainment during the day and evening which is good. I have given it 3 out of 5 as the rooms were not really reflective of a 5* hotel and there were places that need refreshing. But as I said, I would go back.

Lovely hotel, beautiful reception and outside space, lovely indoor pool and spa area. The rooms are a little dated and we had a couple of problems which were sorted as soon as we mentioned them. We had a large suite with a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and the sea. The hotel itself wouldn't be 5 stars in europe but id still give my reveiw 5 stars based on the whole experience. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to help, they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, in the evenings one particular member of staff named Aladin had a table ready for us with our choice of drinks and were always welcomed by everyone with a smile. Our first night we arrived late and they had kindly prepared a meal for us after the restaurant had closed. The food was lovely and there was always a range to choose from with different things each day, my favourite days were Thursdays when they had Tunisian food which was wonderful. The hotel was clean and our room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels for us. The hotel itself is in a great location away from the busy areas but within walking distance of the main port el kantoaui and right by the beach. It's easy to get to sousse with a taxi (we paid 8-15 dinars dont ask for the meter to be put on we paid 22 on that, agree a price beforehand) or the little train from the port, which was a fun experience in itself. Make sure not to follow anyone in the markets or tell anyone your hotel. They notice your wristband and will say they work in your hotel to get you to trust them. We ended up turning our wristbands inside out to avoid this. There are a few shops in the medina of Sousse where prices are displayed, these are better to buy souvenirs from as others will charge you far more for the same item The rep at the hotel met with us on our first morning, and we were able to arrange some lovely trips to other parts of the country, for which we were picked up right outside the hotel. We also had spa treatments inside the hotel, there is a wide range to chose from we really enjoyed our turkish bath and masage. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely be happy to stay at El Mouradi Palace again in the future. Wonderful hotel in an amazing country.

Beautiful place, close to the airport, great variety of salads, food and desserts. Swimming pool indoors was warm, ladies at the Spa very professional and welcoming, Hammam lady Fatima very very friendly. The Bar never gets tired or moans when you ask for a drink instead they do not mind bringing it to the pool or at the dinner table. Most of the staffs are very very welcoming and always ready to help. The rooms are a bit outdated compare to the UK but our bed sheets / towels were changed and room cleaned on a daily basis. Clean beachside unlike Europe you don’t pay extra for the beach kiosk or mat for a sunbathing. Tennis and children corner was a must for the kids almost everyday we had to have a go. Overall we spent a very good time and it was totally worth it.

Pros:
Very nice beach with white sand.
Location is decent, very close to Hard Rock cafee where you have live music every night after 11pm.
Animation is also pretty good if you are into it. Voleyball, table tennis, aqua gym, waterpolo...

Cons:
I have to start with the food, since it is terrible. Lunch and dinner are almost the same, and there is no variety. All the food tastes the same, but it was expected. When something ok appears, ppl are fighting for it, so you have to wait a long time to get it. There is grill in the main restoraunt and in the beach bar, but it is super small compared to amount of ppl in the hotel, so you can see how many ppl are waiting. Grilled food is often raw, since so many ppl are waiting and they are in a hurry. At dinner, there are often no tables left, so you have to go to the part of restoraunt that doesnt even have lights. Only good part were sweets!

Rooms are okey, but we had problem with the fridge for 5 days. It wasnt working and they didnt care, so i had to catch there worker in the hall and ask him to swap it with another one.

Beach bar is working till 5 pm, and after that you have to pay for everything. Coctails are free only in the hotel bar, in others you have to pay extra.

And canalisation is the problem on its own. On the way to the beach, near the showers, it smells really really bad.

Honestly, i wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone, but if you decide to go bring some extra money to eat outside of the hotel and you will be fine. Realisticly, this is a weak 4 star hotel, even for there standards.

My daughter and her partner booked a holiday via "love holiday website" it is an all inclusif week's holiday to celebrate her birthday. They were really disappointed with the hotel facilties . It is filthy. Love Holiday sold it as a 5 stars hotel, which it clearly is NOT, we found on its website that it is a 4 star hotel, but it is not deserving of the grading. It is filthy, there was no toilet paper, there are stains on the sheets and hair on the carpet, the worse thing is, they didnt eat yesterday as the hotel is not equipped to serve the amount people they have. There was no room to sit. This morning my daughter only ate 2 stales pains au chocolat, as she is weary of anything else. The reception will only talk to her partner and ignore her. When they were tokd there was no soap, soap was quickly put in the bathroom, but it had clearly been used by someone else. They didnt have toilet paper and didn't get any until they had asked several times. I am submitting some photos they'll speak for themselves. I would easily book a different hôtel for them, from here, but how do i know the standards will be better?

Fantastic value for money.
Lets do the bad bits first - trying to get the rooms sorted at reception was stressful at first as a lot of people with issues.
The carpets in the halls in the 700 were thread bare in areas. Everywhere was a little outdated.
The good parts - what a great hotel! it was such good value. Lovely sea view, beds made and clean towels daily, staff couldn't do enough for you, at meal times they would want you to sit in their areas with such great service, I believe one gentleman was called Algrajaila, brilliant service.
I think the beach vendor called Karimuse was funny and a great character, the older guy at the beach bar was great, quickly learnt what we liked and started bringing drinks down to the beach for us, great staff!
The food was good, lots of variety with some good same food daily, each meal time had a few food items cooked in front of you and the meal times were good so not too many people all at once trying to get food.
The grounds of the hotel always looked great, the staff more than helpful, the room was good enough.
There wasn't too many English people there which wasn't a bad thing.
The guy selling jewellery at the hotel was lovely, my partner had a lovely massage at the hotel.
The entertainment was good with music by the pool and evening activities but was good as it wasn't too much
Would go again and recommend to friends and family, thank you

After finding my original hotel shut, this was my option for three nights.
The hotel had a grand lobby, all stone and polished granite floors. Going upstairs to the rooms by lift and the corridors had carpets definitely past their life. The room was clean but carpets dirty with cigarette burns. Bathroom ok but the toilet seat was not fixed properly and was annoying. The huge balcony showed its age and was run down with cracked tiles and sun-beds were varnished which was peeling off.
A few ants in the bed which looked as though they could bite but I didn’t get one.
The pool was large and inviting. However, from my room on the 4th floor you could see it had a big dark patch in the middle which was algae on the bottom. Not a pool to swim in, I thought.
Food was plenty but local style. Children would have no choice so beware.
Staff very friendly and for the price, acceptable to me on my own.
