Just returned from a wonderful week in this excellent hotel. Having had three holidays cancelled due to the Covid 19 situation we were delighted to finally get away. We were looking for some R and R in the sunshine and we were were not disappointed. This is a special place. Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning, with the most spectacular views over Kalkan and the bay. The rooms are extremely spacious and well decorated. Our deluxe room had a large balcony with two sun beds (with really comfy cushions), an umbrella and two chairs and a small table. The main pool is beautiful, free form and surrounded by really pretty shrubs and flowers. There is also a smaller infinity pool on the first floor.
Understandably, numbers of guests were down due to the Corona virus and the spa was closed for the season.
But the main reason that we loved this place was the staff. Without exception they were professional but warm, friendly and went out of their way to look after us. The undoubted front man is Muhammad. What a star! He manages all the restaurants but his charismatic presence is felt throughout the hotel. The level of customer service offered by him and his team (Yusuf, Murat and all the guys) is just exceptional. The food at this hotel is simply outstanding and we must say a huge thank you to chef Yilmaz.
If you are thinking about going here, don't hesitate, just book it!!
We are already planning our next trip.

In the main this was , for us, a lovely Hotel though there was no spa there is a fantastic pool. Two in fact.
It would be easy to criticise couple of things like the place might need a makeover, the poor reception staff having to operate in a little cramped reception area and that reception and lift very hot but the huge double bed was as comfortable as anything I have ever slept in and the balconies all have breathtaking views over the little town and bay. The water pressure is good in the shower the fitments in our room need changing immediately.
Breakfast is faultless and as good as the restaurant overseen by Mohammed and his team.
We had a jacuzzi , it was nice but a bit of a clamber to get in and out and might have been better outside, the air con saved every days mad heat and ensured a good nights sleep.
We had a great holiday and thanks to everyone without exception. I would advise they moved reception into the unused former dining room and made the reception experience in a larger environment maybe with some good fan coverage and some complimentary juices or tea on hand . The first up meeting is where you form your initial opinions and given this place is so opulent that initial experience needs to be improved and the staff given some space and air from which to work. Thank you Likya for a lovely holiday

We have just stayed at the Lykia Hotel for 13 nights and we have had the most wonderful experience. I do not often post reviews but I feel compelled to on this occasion .

Our room was lovely with stunning views of the bay of kalkan to wake to each morning. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. There is more than one pool option which captures the views and was very relaxing and peaceful areas. We had spa treatments when we first arrived (Turkish Hammam + massage ] which lasted 3 hours and was well priced - there were various options dependent on your budget.

We tended to split our time between the hotel restaurant and local restaurants for variety but Lykia restaurant situated overlooking the bay was stunning and the quality of food and pricing was fantastic, it was the best restaurant we ate in but some margin and I would happily have eaten there every night.

A special mention to all the staff at Lykia they are truly brilliant, they were friendly and professional and nothing was to much trouble for them. They are so hard working and a credit to the hotel.

We will definitely be staying at Lykia when we next return to Turkey/Kalkan

Me & my wife have just returned home from this wonderfull hotel. I will start with the very minor negatives, the showers, they are deperately in need of updating, and the 2nd, we have nothing against kids, but i personally think this is more of an adults hotel and letting them stay between the months of July & August will probably lose the Likya a lot customers ? But please don't let these very minor faults put you off. We have stayed in some very high-end hotels around the world and this is up there with the best, the staff are so very friendly, especially Murat, he is a very funny guy, but they all do the hotel justice👏🏼👏🏼 We stayed in room 100, the swim-up room is a must, and the views are out of this world. the beds are very comfy & the sun-loungers are also very cosy. I would say every room in this hotel has an amazing view, but i can only speak for ours, The hotel restaurant is very fine dining, definitely up there with the best in Kalkan i would say and very reasonable on price (and the best staff). The hotel is probably about a 20min walk into town, we got a taxi there & back most nights, only works out at £4 there & back!. The Spa is also well worth a visit, we had the full Hammam, just amazing. The breakfast is also very good, don't expect a full English because you won't get it! but you will get a very nice omlette and Turkish breakfast. If you do fancy a full english one day than Johnnys Bar is 5mins up the road, that is the best your get and probably find! The rooms are cleaned daily, and what a very friendly bunch they are, always have a smile on there face. The town itself is amazing, very lively at night, the bars and restaurants are all very differant in there own way so you will find something you like. One thing we did notice is there are a lot of dogs in Kalkan, but they are all very freindly. There are a lot of beach clubs in Kalkan, if you stay at Likya you get a discount on food & drink but our fav was the Yali Beach club at the bottom of the hill, that beach club has easier access to the sea. And the last and probably most important thing, Kalkan is very hilly, especially in town so if you do struggle with walking or getting around just be aware. Would we go back, 100%, we are already planning a return for next July. I hope this review helps, any questions please feel free to ask.

This is our second visit to the hotel. We love it. Seve and Mohammet and the rest of the staff work so hard to give us guests a relaxing holiday-and they are fabulous at it!!
Our room was clean, spacious and the bed-SO COMFORTABLE!!
I recently read a review that said the restaurant was pretentious, expensive but the food is good. Utter tosh!! The food is excellent, the setting is magical and the service is exemplary. We ate out in Kalkan and the food in the restaurants there is only slightly cheaper. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who loves good food and wants a special experience.
We’ve already booked to go back next year. Cannot wait!!!

We had the immense pleasure of returning to Likya Residence for two weeks at the beginning of August , during which we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
It was wonderful to see everyone again and the experience was like being greeted by familiar friends !
We stayed in Room 103 which was beautiful, with its spectacular view over Kalkan bay.
The bed was huge and super comfy. Towels were fluffy and snow white. There was plenty storage and we take a lot of clothes !
Breakfast is a lovely spread of cereals, cooked meats and cheeses , fruit etc plus delicious varied hot options prepared by the hard working chef. His crepes are highly recommended and delicious !
Lunches are served poolside and beautifuly presented large portions.
We had three evening dinners ,including our anniversary dinner, when we were joined by our son and his wife.
On each occasion the food was faultless, presentation stunning and we agreed unanimously the best in Kalkan. Service was fabulous under the keen supervision of Mohammed and of course the view second to none.
My husband was happy with the gym faciiities which is thankfully air conditioned.
There were a number of repeat guests which is credit to Seviye and speaks for itself in how she runs the hotel.
We can't wait to return again in October !

We had dinner here twice during our stay. First time for my daughters birthday and second time for our wedding anniversary. The first time was absolutely amazing. The table was beautifully decorated. The service was unbelievably attentive. Food was delicious!! A surprise cake, candles and sparklers were brought out at the end of the meal. The evening could not have been better.

Second visit was our Wedding Anniversary. Again table laid out beautifully with flowers and candles. Unfortunately did not have my food choice as had run out but my second choice was still delicious. Food wonderfully presented and a great selection of cocktails and wines.

Definitely worth a visit

Just had an amazing stay in this very special place. First time to Kalkan and we were not disappointed at all what a stunning location. The staff at Likya residence were all amazing so helpful nothing was any trouble and made us feel
So at home and comfortable. We chose a room with a jacuzzi it was on the top floor with spectacular views and allowed us some privacy which was perfect.the room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The food at this hotel was also amazing. Especially the breakfast served by Musa who is such a lovely helpful man. The hotel is not far at all into Kalkan we walked down every evening so the location is also perfect. Make sure you pack good walking shoes / trainers Kalkan is not the place for high heels. Overall this stay was excellent if your looking for 5 star all singing all dancing all inclusives this is not your place but if your looking for a beautiful authentic experience then this place is an absolute must.

We booked this hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary as covid struck. This was our catch up visit two years later. Things have changed a little since we were last here, 5 years ago (?) but what we commented on several times awas how the staff have responded to change and still kept their service levels so high.
Nothing was too much trouble, and when we needed help with something outside of the normal hotel catchment area, they still helped us; set up long range trips etc.
We are in our 60's and this is our favourite hotel. Most of the other visitor were on a subsequent trip and it is usually booked out a year in advance during the best seasonal times.

This is one of our all time favourite hotels around the world!!
The setting is fantastic above the bay and the facilities are excellent with everything for a relaxing holiday.

The restaurant is superb with a varied menu, high quality ingredients and presentation - a special treat in a special place.

The management and staff are brilliant and look after the guests during the day and night in the hotel at the bar and restaurant.

We will return.
