Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here with friends a week ago for 1 week. Family run hotel with a lovely personal touch, special mention to Have who looked after us so well even when my husband collapsed in the Restraunt she was on hand and was so calm .... The hotel was in a great location close to bars, Restraunt and shops. The hotel is small but perfect, Rooms cleaned daily. bathroom small, powerful shower Pool area lovely and peaceful drinks served to your sun-bed Kalkan is beautiful and can’t believe we’ve never heard of the place before We will definitely be back and of course stay at the Asiyan Hotel.

We spent a lovely 10 days here September 10 to 20. A very nice breakfast and a good selection of bar snacks for lunch. My favourite was the Arrabbiata Spaghetti. Our room was quite small but adequate as we were only in there for sleeping, showering and changing. Balcony was also small. A lovely family run small hotel. All the staff are so helpful and a special mention to Hava who was always there to cater for our needs. Great location. Would definitely use this hotel again.

We stayed here for a week after spending a few days in Oludeniz we found the rooms a little dated, no lift and bathroom really small, bed too hard for our taste and air con needs to be serviced dusty and noisy also Turkish continental breakfast quality was on the minimum side. On the plus side the pool was a lovely size and cleaned every day and the host and staff were very friendly and welcoming, also the hotel was pretty close to the centre and harbour.

We stayed here as a family of four for three nights before moving into a villa with friends. It is family owned and run and the staff could not have been more helpful, staying up for our midnight arrival. We had two adjoining rooms with a small area outside were we could store our luggage as the rooms are comfortable but relatively compact. Despite it's location the gardens and pool area are quiet and very well maintained. The pool itself is very large for a hotel of this size with plenty of space around it. Several of the other couples there were repeat visitors and I can well understand why.

Wonderful little hotel in Kalkan. Walking distance to all areas of the town. Wonderful service from the hotel, can’t do enough for you. Kalkan is a quiet ‘foodie’ type of holiday, beautiful cobbled streets, with a new bar and restaurant just round the corner. The beach clubs are great and lots of fun. There is a small stone beach so if it’s beaches you want not the place but for us just perfection. Will be back as soon as we can. Bring pounds - trips and transfers prefer pounds. It’s not cheap....you pay 25tl per beer and meals our are much the same as a good restaurant in the UK. Taxi’s are easy to get and will cost around 15tl every trip wherever you go in the town. There are people asking you to try their restaurants but it’s never aggressive and the Turkish people are just wonderful and just want you to enjoy your holiday - 6 stars all day long. We have done the big resorts that TUI etc charge an absolute fortune for a ‘processed’ and all inclusive Groundhog Day holiday - this is so different, so perfect, so worth every penny, like us you will want to come back again and again! Thankyou Kalkan!

I’ve been going to a Kalkan for 20+ years and can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this hotel! It’s an absolute hidden gem in so many ways. It is beautifully kept in really pretty grounds, it has such wonderfully friendly and kind staff, it feels like a home from home, it’s super quiet and calm and it is in a fantastic location just to name a few! Nothing is too much for them to do for you and they treat you like family from the moment you arrive. The food is delicious and very fresh - you don’t need to leave the hotel for breakfast or lunch. The rooms are immaculate, clean and very comfortable with balconies and air conditioning. We spent most of our time by the pool but if we wanted a break from the heat the rooms were very cool even during the day. Hotel Asiyan is a little sanctuary and I couldn’t have asked for a better holiday in Kalkan. I will definitely be going back again as soon as possible.

I booked our stay at the Hotel Asiyan as a last minute surprise holiday for my Mums birthday. Me and my Mum had such a lovely relaxing stay, my Mum was treated to a birthday cake and sang to on our first day, such a sweet touch. The owners are so lovely and our stay so peaceful and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy another stay.
