We arrived here after a long delay, shuttle not showing up etc... and we were greeted by "your late" by reception. After explaining what happened they took details gave us our key and that was that. The reception staff are rude and unfriendly & never crack a smile.

The place was very clean, I'll give them that. Rooms were basic, had to shove a pencil in the fan bit to lower the temperature. Only 1 English channel haha watched the same news for 7 days. The lobby is not air-conditioned, and when it is, it's at 28 degrees, sweating!

The bar staff were lovely, one woman with blonde hair was so friendly, taught us Turkish and everything... Then you get the other woman who appears to be bar manager. She is a tore faced cow who only smiles around the guys. She gave us stingy measures, no glass just plastic & she didn't fill my drinks to the top. We actually had to go learn Turkish to try get on her good side. But seriously, she was so unfriendly.

The pool was clean & fine. The waterslides don't get locked up, so although they only run 2 times a day, the kids still find a way to get water down it and go on it haha! It was mostly German and Russian families but there was some Scottish and English families there too.

The food was great, stuffed peppers, lamb, meat, chicken, salad etc. Although it is repetitive, I really enjoyed the food. A tip is to get up early for the pancakes in the morning, yum. You need to be down early or you won't get a table. We had to sit and a 6 man table and were later joined by a random Russian family haha!

Sun beds were another big problem. You need to get up at 7/8am to get towels out as people leave theirs out overnight. Loads of canopies so there's only about 15/20 sun beds in the sun... One day 3 girls moved our beds into the shade whilst we were at breakfast, and they didn't even sit by the pool for the full day!!

Entertainment is crap. There's nothing at night for the kids apart from the odd magician or belly dancer 1 night. It's so boring! Drinks stop at 10pm sharp, we actually felt embarrassed getting our all inclusive drinks because the bar manager just looked at us so rudely. Also, NO ICE, it means warm drinks, and the vodka is a watered down splash. Efes is nice though :)

OH BTW wifi can only be accessed in the lobby & not the rooms... so you have to sit in the lobby like an idiot sweating because it's so warm.

Tried to book the room an extra night as flight was late & they said they were completely fully booked. Ended up at hotel Inside across the road and the staff and everyone were amazing over there. Far too nice! The family that own it even drove us to the bank and to see the ruins, they were lovely! So I recommend to go there instead!!!

All in all, I'd rate this hotel as a 3 star at the very maximum. They need to sort out their staff to make the atmosphere a little less tense! Probably the worst all inclusive I've stayed in, won't go back!!

I have never been in such a staff unfriendly hotel on any holiday ever .
The hotel was clean and tidy, room very basic but on holiday you only sleep there so no worries.
Food , not the best really same old same old for all inclusive boring and not much change in daily menus .
BE AWARE ALL INCLUSIVE DOES NOT INCLUDE WHEN YOU GO TO THE BEACH !!!!!!! TAKE YOUR OWN DRINKS FOOD OR NORMAL BUY.
Bar well l can honestly say l have never met a bar staff so tight The head honcho a female on the bar ruled with a fist of iron you would think she was giving her own produce away shots smaller than UK ,
Yes it is mostly orientated around GERMANS and staff find it hard to understand british .
Lastly watch your final bill they tried to charge us for something we didnt have and took some sorting

Either you guys must be talking about a different hotel or you are very picky. So far we have been here 4 days. We love this hotel. The staff although English is not so good are so very friendly and helpful. The food is spot on. Drinks are on tap when you want one. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. Guests are fine mostly Rushian but there is English aswell. We have no problems at all so far but still have 10 days to go. We was so worried about this place after reading all these bad reviews. Now we are here we are loving it...... stop being too fusy if you want 5 star treatments then book 5 star lol. Hope this helps all you people having doubts about palm d'or. The place is spot on had to share thanms thanks Deano

We were in this hotel in May 2012 a family of 4 persons. staff served us at the highest level. many claims to the nearby hotel, which is building its new building nearby. noise and dust of the hotel's bothering us all the 20 days of our vacation. The hotel staff did everything possible to eliminate the dust problem. Meals we really enjoyed it. Yet there is clean and new hamam. The recommended.

Avoid like the plaque, the attitude of some of the staff was terrible, quite intimidating at times, there was no english t.v. channels, the air conditioning was switched off, when you went out the fridge was switched off, when going for a drink it was one drink per person, half of a half pint,if i wanted to get my wife a drink i had to go to the back of the queue, the food was very basic, scrambled or boiled eggs for breakfast every morning, never saw a bit of bacon, sausage or fried egg,no fresh orange juice at any time, lunch and dinner were the same with maybe carrots and peas added,i could go on forever about this place but i think you'l get the gist,if it stops one family or couple from going it will be worth it,

I booked by daughter and family into this hotel and the staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel itself was well appointed and the all inclusive deal was good value. The Manager couldnt have been more helpful and made sure that my daughter had everything she needed and she was treated like royalty! She cannot wait to return to this lovely hotel.

stayed here in June, was welcomed by the guy on reception who was very good, girls could not talk much English, rooms were clean and reception was clean, the pool was large enough and clean but not enough chairs and the cushions were torn and had mildew on them. They did not cater for the English at all and the food was cold all the time the heating kept going off and they had to keep turning it back on the food was the same all the time, they only gave you breakfast, lunch dinner there was no snacks provided like other all inclusive we have stayed at,, and if the food ran out which it did they never replaced it you had to go without. and the drinks were half the measure that you get in u.k and they charge a lot of money for them after ten and you still only get half measures. Two of the days of our 10 day visit we was out of water for a few hours we could not wash our hands or flush the loos. Only two nights entertainment so you had to go out if you wanted to have that. The management walked around the hotel but did not acknowledge you, and the manager had a few people complaining but would not listen i have stayed in many all inclusive hotels and i will only put this as 2 star it is for the Russians and eastern european, they did not seem to accept the english will not return again and many other guests said the same.

Stayed 13-17 June 2011.Wonderful and very helpful staff, huge selection of tasty food, huge swimming pool. Room attendants are very creative, I always find something( heart shapes, swans etc) on the bed. Absolutely excellent value for money! Definitely would consider to come back.

This is a complete honest opinion. I read the reviews for this hotel after booking it, the bad reviews made me worried but i kept a clear mind when arriving at the hotel.
On Arrival at Antalya airport our transfer vehicle was over an hour late, this was booked with 'ResortHoppa' and didnt have anything to do with the hotel. Once at the hotel the receptionist was really helpful and the lobby and the rest of the hotel seemed really clean.
The rooms were also kept clean, the en suite was also very nice, air conditioning was provided in the room, TV was also provided but had German, Russian, Turkish channels and only BBC news, the room safe was of extra charge as was the laundry serivces.
In terms of food the main courses were different on every night and there was 3 or 4 types of them, on some nights there was doner, fish, or bbq as well. however the deserts and the side foods were the same on all nights.
The lobby bar was out of use, the indoor pool was out of use, the massage service etc was out of use. The so called 'Fitness center' consisted of a treadmill and a bike.
Most of the staff were really helpful and always had a smile on their faces.
The pool and slides were probably the best thing about the hotel, there was no entertainment, the pool bar closed around 10 to 11, the drinks werent anything special, the beer was Perge not Efes, which isnt as good as Efes.
We was here for two week the first Saturday we had a belly dance who LITERALLY wiggled about for 5 minutes and left after an argument with the staff for an unknown reason, the second Saturday a different belly dancer came and her show was much better but that was about it.
The guests were 80 percent Russian, the rest were either German or Turkish, English families were non existent.
Hotel is 1 km walk from Side harbor and the ancient city which you can walk to from a nice pedestrian walk way at the beach where all the bars and restaurants are. The beach is only 5 minutes away, but there is also a service to a separate beach 15 minutes away, the service runs twice a day, this beach is extremely nice and is not crowded.
I agree that this is not a 4 star hotel, i would say a bottom half 3 star hotel, the star rating needs to be changed immediately as it is very deceiving.
However if you're looking for a cheap, standard hotel just to stay in for the nights and the pool then this is a decent option.
If you dont visit this hotel make sure you visit Side, it is a beautiful place with loads to do and see with a blend of history.
