We visited this hotel in October. Myself, husband, adult son and mother. The transfer from the airport was straight forward about an hour and 15 minutes journey. On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who kindly took our cases and led us to reception. We were given 2 wrist bands each 1 green (for adults) and 1 red which is for jet 2 travellers to enable them to have ultra inclusive with premium drinks. We were led to our rooms and cases brought for us. Everything was explained regarding whereabouts of restaurants and bars etc and also how to work the air con and safe. The rooms were large, clean and had balconies to sit out. Everything was provided in the bathrooms such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc and the mini fridge was stocked with soft drinks, water and beer. We were also on day 1 provided with 2 bags of crisps. Rooms were cleaned daily. Our views were all of the amphitheater and the main road, the patio door did a good job of keeping the noise down. All this seemed to be a good start to our holiday. Unfortunately as we moved around the hotel we realised we were THE ONLY people there from the uk. This shouldn’t be a problem as we can get along with most people and enjoy the diversity of holidaymakers but we soon realised that the staff struggled to understand anything we were saying as they only spoke German as an alternative language to their own. Some staff didn’t even speak to you and were rude and surly. This was mainly at the beach bar/restaurant. I would like to say that this was not all the staff and many were so kind and helpful some saying they were trying to learn more English so they could communicate with the UK tourists. The staff in the main restaurant were great, very attentive and helpful and the bar staff and waiters in the lobby bar were amazing. Special mention to Cihan who made our holiday special with his pleasant manner, jokes and kindness, Thankyou Cihan. The beach is a short walk away around 8 mins depending on how agile you are. The food is good at the beach bar, burgers, mackerel, pasta, salads, ice creams etc you cannot go hungry. The music is in the background is German catered mostly, with occasional songs we recognised. The beach is lovely, sandy and clean and plenty of sun beds all under shaded canopies. Book al carte as soon as you can they get booked up quickly. Entertainment is each evening usual sort of thing. Acrobats, dancers, singers etc. there were a lot of children at the hotel and we saw the staff entertaining them but if the children were English they would have struggled to understand. The pool was good we enjoyed days around the pool . During our week we did see 2 other English speaking families arrive but if our week was anything to go by this hotel is predominantly for the German tourists. To sum up, we made our holiday ours, we spent time together as a family which in our busy lives was a nice change. The hotel was comfortable and clean with mostly pleasant staff who tried hard to please. The food is very good for all inclusive, the drinks not so good own brands apart from efes, jet 2 customers can have premium brands there was beefeater gin, Smirnoff, jack daniels (for half the week) but you really have to insist on the branded versions, they are not on display they bring them out only if you ask. We would not return to this hotel but only because were made to feel unwelcome by the other tourists who were not willing to try to communicate or exchange pleasantries with us, not may I add by the staff.

So me and my adult child are currently on our final night after spending 10 days here, this is the 2nd year in a row coming to this hotel, it was nice to see that there was improvement on my previous years feedback, they have now got a few more staff that speak English and as a hotel they are trying, our room was spacious over looking the gardens, on arrival I was a little worried that there would be a lot of noise from the kitchen as we were on the 1st floor but heard absolutely nothing, the fridge is restocked daily free of charge and if you want international brands on alcohol they are only in the lobby bar, also the waffles are amazing and also the freshly made pasta, we spent most of out time at the pool bar, where Mehmet really looked after us and was a pleasure to meet and made us feel very welcomed, I also enjoyed seeing the turtles on the wooden bridge not far from the beach bar, there are a lot of Germans but jet 2 only have a small allocation of rooms, it would be nice to see jet 2 get more allocation in September, we have really made some great new friends and I would happily come back year after year

Had a great stay here. The rooms are lovely, well decorated, clean and fresh. Mini bar was stocked on arrival and topped up when needed. Extra touches like the snacks, slippers and bathroom accessories was a nice surprise. Rooms cleaned every day and towels and bedding changed regularly. Food was good on the whole. Breakfast selection was varied in range and culture. Lunch was good at the pool bar and beach. Dinner again was good and varied in selection. We always managed to get a table whatever time of day we went. Waiter service was a bit hit and miss to start with but improved greatly as time went on. They all work so hard. Sometimes you just have to go with it. They are doing their best. Beach was lovely and the addition of all inclusive at the beach was brilliant. We didn't watch any of the shows or Entertainment but that was our choice. Its there if you want it but not in your face. Pool was lovely and big, never crowded. We didn't partake in the sunbed rush as we chose the beach every day. I'm guessing there were the crowds that got up at the crack of dawn to secure their spot. We always came back to the pool around 3ish and always got a bed in the sun. We booked the Chinese alacarte but not until a few days into our holiday. The food was nice but not all to our taste. The only downside apart from everyone greeting you in German, even though we had different colour bands and the limited English alot of the waiters spoke. Yes things got lost in translation. But no big deal. The other downside is jet 2 customers are supposed to be ultra all inclusive which gives you premium spirits. We never ever saw a premium spirit at the bar. Even when you asked for a branded spirit you got a local brand. Its like they never understood or they just didn't exist. I've seen this mentioned in lots of other reviews. So come on jet2, stop with the ultra red band and let us be treated as equal. As we definitely didn't feel like we had a better deal. But just identified us an outsider.

We are currently on our last day at Adalya Artside and have honestly had one of the best holidays we have ever had. We travelled as two adults and two children (14 and 8) arriving quite late at night to be greeted by a very friendly gentleman on reception who spoke great English. He gave us our room info, wrist bands and advised that there was food available for us in the restaurant should we want this. The porter took our cases up to our room which was situated in block D with a view of the pool. The room was a family room with a double bed and bunk bed which was very clean and the mini bar was stocked with both still and sparking water, Fanta, coke and Efes lager. Our cleaner Emet was brilliant, she restocked out fridge every day and did a great job keeping our room clean. The food here is endless, you can start with breakfast in the main Sultan Restaurant from 7am until 10am and then the pool bar opens where you can get lunch, ice cream and waffles from 12pm to 4pm. Lunch is again buffet style with fresh pizzas, wraps, chips, salads, pastas, fresh fruit etc. You could also get lunch, ice cream and waffles down at the beach bar, all included in your all inclusive. Drinks are plentiful- efes lager, soft drinks, cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. There is also iced coffee, fresh juices, teas etc. or you can opt for a delicious milkshake for 4euro. After the pool bar closes at 4pm they then wheel out a street food cart serving a different thing every day, such as doughnuts, fruit with chocolate, pancakes etc. You could honestly eat all day long should you want to! Dinner again is in the sultan restaurant and we always found something to eat. You are able to chose one of the al a carte restaurants to eat in and we opted for the Chinese which was lovely. By far our favourite part of the holiday was the animation team who were just great with our children aswell as us. The entertainment starts every day at 10am with dancing around the pool then there is archery, airrifling, pool games, darts, table tennis, beach volleyball- the list goes on and on. Evening entertainment has a kids mini disco, various different dance shows and then entertainment around the pool with live music. I can’t write a review without mentioning two of the entertainers Nuri and Sisi who went out of there way to make sure we had a great holiday. A special thank you to them for all of their hard work, my children especially will miss them. Before we came on holiday I was a little worried having read some of the reviews and yes the guests are predominately German and Dutch. But at no point did we ever feel excluded or experience anyone being rude. All the staff were extremely friendly and tried to converse in English but perhaps We should be more willing to learn a few basic words of the language where we are choosing to visit! It goes a long way. All in all a brilliant holiday and we would definitely return.

Sad to write this review but have to be honest. Unfortunately we we’re thoroughly disappointed with this hotel. We visited as 2 adults & 2 children, aged 15 & 12, booked through Jet2. We had seen some bad reviews, particularly about the food, but we booked it last September after seeing great instagram posts by the hotel. Unfortunately it definitely didn’t live up to expectations and definitely not a 5* hotel. Didn’t see anything like the posts from last summer! We stayed here for 14 nights starting the last week of July. First impressions were pretty good. We we’re greeted by a Porter who took our suitcases in the lobby. Reception staff struggled with English but other than that, check in was smooth. Bags taken to our room which was really nice. Rooms are big, air con decent, bathroom was a good size and there is a free safe to use. Nothing spectacular and on par with any premiere Inn hotel (apart from the beds which are as hard as the floor). All balconies are very exposed and public. No privacy so if you want to relax out there in the evening, the whole hotel complex will see you. You need to use the elevators to get everywhere. There are only two, so they get very busy. A sign inside states not to be used by children under 12. Nobody takes any notice of this and so little kids (on their own) are constantly pressing the wrong buttons so it stops on floors for no reason and this does get frustrating! The hotel caters for German guests only. Vast majority of staff speak to you in German, even when you respond in English, they talk back in German. Events and games around the pool are all spoken in German. You have no idea what’s going on so this really makes you feel left out. Forget kids club unless your little one is fluent in German. The Lobby bar has no atmosphere at all and is horribly depressing. No music played, the furniture and decor is very old fashioned. When you smile and say hello to the vast majority the staff, they just look straight through you as if you’re not even there. It gets to the point where you feel like an idiot smiling at people as you walk past. Honestly, they are just so rude and make you feel so uncomfortable! One barman just spoke on his mobile the whole time we ordered and waited for our drinks without even looking at us. We were given a green and a red wrist band on arrival which was not explained at reception (as minimal English spoken) but we understood from another reviewer that this was a Jet2 red band for premium drinks. If correct, the band makes no difference to what you get. We never even saw any premium spirits available. We took ours off the second week which confirmed it made no difference at all. The pool is massive and the hotel’s best feature, It is 1.4 meters depth and has a small shaded part. Slides are also great. Get down to the pool at 6:30am if you want a decent sun bed. Not once in 14 days did we see any hotel staff remove towels because they weren’t being used. By 7:15 all sun beds are reserved, even the ones at the back row which drops about 50 x pine needles on you every second. You might be lucky to find a free sun bed around 15:30. The beach is great! Plenty of sunbeds, food better than the restaurant with burgers, pizza, kebabs, waffles, ice creams etc. bar staff unfortunately miserable though. Never saw one crack a smile. The biggest disappointment for us is the food/restaurant and drinks. The Restaurant runs out of tables every night at 7:30 so if you want a table, you need to be in there at 6:30. Every night, we saw guests desperately looking for a table for their family. The staff appear to ignore them and only get involved once they see guests getting irate. The restaurant is absolute chaos! Restaurant staff literally RUN through the restaurant and nearly knock you over. The amount of times I saw near misses or them actually bump into guests was unbelievable. One staff member knocked my daughter out of the way with no apology. They never ‘give way’ to guests as you would expect anyone to do in hospitality; again, so rude! There are no self service drinks in the restaurant so you have to wait (and hope) that someone comes to your table. We ‘celebrated’ and felt lucky to get a drink at all some evenings. We ended up taking bottled water to dinner with us . “You can always find something to eat” I’ve read this so many times, and yes, you can, but do you want a bread roll which tastes and feels like a brick? Garden peas and chips for breakfast? How about some lettuce and pickles with a mint & cucumber yogurt sauce? Chilled cauliflower on cold toast perhaps? I think the best one I saw was the ‘classic breakfast combo’ of chopped up salmon, brussel sprouts, carrots, tomatoes, onions and slices of orange (served cold of course). See photo! For lunch and dinner there is a whole cold buffet section full of food which didn’t have any description of what the dishes were and trust me, you would need a description (see photos). Nobody touched these. Surely the manager might question ‘why isn’t anyone eating this’? Lambs head casserole and fried veal liver for dinner was some of the better options. The Restaurant has a fly infestation issue. They are everywhere! There’s not a minute which passes without a fly landing on you, which gets very irritating. About 80% of food is uncovered so most dishes have flies landing on them. Massive queues for drinks at the pool bar as the only self service drinks are bottled water, hot drinks, chilled coffee and a lemon concentrate. Again, you politely ask “can I have 2 cokes please”, the barman says nothing back, starts pouring the drinks, slams them on the bar and looks at the next person in line. Sounds a 5 star service doesn’t it! We drank bottles of water most of the time as we felt so uncomfortable going up to the bar. Cocktails are absolutely hideous beyond belief. We had a ‘Long Island ice tea’, it wasn’t just unpleasant, it was undrinkable. Smoking is allowed almost everywhere and almost everyone smokes. There are plastic flower pots dotted around the sun beds for people to launch their fag buts in them withy even moving, which is nice. Don’t be surprised if your room smells of smoke if you have the balcony door open. The beach is an 8 minute walk downhill but a 15-20min slog uphill on the way back. It’s not a picturesque walk either. The trail is overgrown wasteland, concrete walls with barbed wire, you will walk past dirty, stinking grundons, a river of cigarette buts and a couple of dead rats which have been half eaten! We saw many neighbouring hotels ran complimentary golf buggies for their guests, but not at Artside. Evening entertainment was ok but hardly 5 star. The entertainment manager starts the evening with the same awkward clapping game every night and lines up the rest of the team on stage who look just as disinterested as the night before. The foam pool party was just plain weird with about 6 scantily dressed young women cavorting round the pool in a suggestive manner. This only happened once in the 2 weeks. There is a gift shop, 2 x jewellers, convenience store, hairdressers, clothing and bag shop on the ground floor. Each store owner is unfriendly and look more threatening than welcoming. Nothing has any prices on (not even simple things like a bag of crisps or a fridge magnet) This is so they can rip you off. There are a few small shops just outside of the hotel - a convenience shop, a clothes shop, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, a tattooist and an excursion company. All of these store owners are very friendly. Always smiled and waved when you walked past. There is also the ‘station’ for the ‘Dolmus’ (little busses) which is really handy. Because this is the start of their route, you are guaranteed a seat! 1 euro per person will get you to Side Old Town plus many other places. When you want to get back, you simply flag them down on the roadside. You’ll see if you use them, but it’s dead easy. The day before our last day, we asked reception if we could have a late checkout as you have to exit your room at midday and our transfer wasn’t until 4pm. We have read that this has been offered free of charge to other guests, however, we were asked to pay 50 euros although were quoted €35 the night before! We reluctantly agreed and paid as our faces obviously didn’t fit to get it free. The man asked for our room cards, swiped them, slammed them on the desk and walked off without saying a word. We stayed there for a few minutes as we weren’t sure if he was coming back or if they had been done. Another receptionist came off the phone at that point and told us the cards had been done. Just another example of rude unnecessary behaviour. I have to mention Housekeeping. The lady we had was so smiley and friendly and did a great job. Artside claims to be a 5 star hotel. Jet2 class it at 4 star. In my opinion this is a mediocre 3 star hotel. I’ve stayed in 3 star hotels in Tenerife that surpassed Artside on all levels. Finally, Berkan, Tugba and Cilem were the only staff who were friendly and helpful. Thank you. We would not recommend Adayla Artside.

3 days in so far (will update as we go) So far the overall thoughts are, if you are English, don't bother coming here. The staff are only interested in the Germans amd you generally get ignored even when you smile and try to engage with them. Aircon in the room doesn't work properly. Resturant serves food supposedly until 9pm, but start packing away at 8:10pm!. The entertainment team are also only interested in the Germans and everything is in German not English. One example was we ordered drinks alongside 3 German family's from the guy on roller blades we were the only ones to tip him afterwards, we thought he'd keep coming back through the day, we didn't see him again at all. Minibar in the room, you are told is all inclusive and will be restocked, we asked the cleaner for this and it didn't happen.

This was our first trip to Turkey and I’m glad we chose this hotel. We arrived at around 3.30am after a delayed journey, straight away the hotel night porter relaxed us and made us feel welcome. He took our cases, put our wristbands on for us and quietly showed us to our room giving us key bits and bobs about the hotel. Including the fact they have a late night bar (midnight - 8am) which we utilized for a quick unwind before bed. First day i went down to secure loungers, yes that’s a thing here despite whatever else you may read. It’s no different to any other holiday I’ve been on, pretty much need to be down around 8/8.30am or most of the good beds will be gone. The pool is lovely though, good size with some cracking slides which my kids loved ( 16 & 11 they are ) however there is a brilliant section for younger kids and toddlers which all was very safe and clean. The daytime activities round the pool is the usual type you’d expect abroad; Water Polo, Water Aerobics, the staff getting people to play pool games etc with the the music pumping away. They are very enthusiastic and always look to try and get everyone clapping and joining in but not in an intrusive way so of it’s not your thing the pool is large enough to find a quiet area (provided you secure your loungers) On the the food : The food is excellent, there is literately always something being dished up from Breakfast to evening meal. If I have to have a slight moan it would be it’s not overly catering for English, there’s no bacon or sausages (appreciate that’s because we are in Turkey) and is more catered for the sweet European type breakfast. They do make fresh omelettes though so I stuck to that with some cheese on toast and cereal. I never use the restaurant at lunch times on holidays and tbh the pool snack bar food is really nice anyway. Pizzas, pasta, burgers, chicken and other meats all very fresh with good quality salads or chips if that’s your thing. Another thing I found really good is the waffles and ice cream on a proper cone served 10am-4pm everyday. They were to die for , kids were made up. The hotel has its own beach section, you can get towels either from the hotel or down by the beach itself, it’s a short walk out of the hotel with a supermarket there for anything you might need on your way. The all inclusive drinks and food are also valid down the beach which was really good and again the food is really nice. Just a quick note on the drinks , the lager is Efes which is good, the spirits are the usual and they will serve you in a proper glass if you ask and are responsible ie taking them back ( that’s what I did anyway ) we had a Red Wristband on which if you ask gives you access to branded drinks, the mini fridge was also topped up every day in our room with coke, Fanta , and every other day pretty much with Efes beer (all slim cans) I’ve read a few reviews about the red wrist bands being some kind of tag for the English guests but we never felt that to be the case. It is primarily a German occupied hotel there is no doubt about that but me and our family had no issues there and the general vibe around the hotel was respectful and pleasant. The entertainment by night was very good, it’s more visual than vocal and is staged at an Amphitheatre at the rear of the hotel. Professional dancers, roller skates, BMX and Basketball performers were all very impressive with a loud soundtrack. There is then a late night disco roof the pool until midnight. In summary the hotel is clean, well looked after with very hard working staff. The food and drink is very good and the rooms are clean and looked after to a high standard. We would definitely come to this hotel again. Top holiday and a lovely break.

We stayed at Adalya Artside from 5th-15th August and had a fantastic stay. I genuinely do not understand the negative reviews on here, maybe we were dreaming for ten days and believed all was perfect or maybe we were realistic to the fact that holidays are not always exactly as you’d like them! This is a 100% honest review: Reception - arrival and throughout: we arrived during the early hours of the morning, we were greeted from the coach and our luggage was taken into Reception. We were given our towel cards, room cards and told the restaurant was open on -2 if we were hungry and needed food. We were taken to our room 3310 and left to settle. Reception staff were always very helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. No issues here! Room: We asked to move from our first room, we did not like the location and it was a very dark room with little natural light. We were offered a choice of three others and settled for the top floor overlooking the pool 2508 - a lovely spacious room, plenty big enough for a family of three. The room was exceptionally clean and remained this way with the help of our maid Senoy Aysal who restocked our mini bar, left our bedding in decorative displays and always ensured we had enough of everything! The mermaid tails made from the bedding was a huge favourite for our five year old! The one thing I would say is the air con needs to be on otherwise it’s just too hot yet the bedding doesn’t really keep you warm enough. Our first room had a quilt in the wardrobebut this room didn’t. Senoy had no issue in giving us more bedding so if you get cold, just ask for extra! We paid for a late checkout, this was available to book the morning of the day we were leaving, apparently not always possible but if you get to reception early enough you probably stand a better chance. Late check out until 3:30pm cost is €35 I think! Restaurants: Unfortunately, we were unable to book into any of the Al-a-cart restaurants, we didn’t book them in early enough and there simply wasn’t any space so we can’t comment on what they were like. The main buffet had plenty of variety and something for everyone, even our fussy five year old. It was never any issue to ask the chefs for some tomato pasta, they did this with no hassle at all. Plenty of food choices available both inside the buffet in the evenings and outside with kebab meat etc. The pool snack bar had much of the same food every lunch time but always served hot, the pizza was freshly made and delicious! On our last day, food was served to the left of the snack bar and the choice of food was incredible! Patisserie open daily with ice-cream and waffles also available during the afternoon at no extra cost! Smoothie/milkshake hut available poolside- €4 each but worth every penny! Pool: by far the biggest pool we’ve had on holiday, it’s huge! No issues what so ever with the pool, the staff cleaned it every night, floor was always spotless and general cleanliness was probably the best I’ve known an all inclusive resort pool to be. Inflatables are permitted but take your own, the shop inside the hotel is a rip off but not run by the hotel itself! On a Monday the entertainment staff run a foam party - great fun, plenty of entertaining happening with barbie dancers, huge flamingos, balloons etc! Great fun if you want to join in or you can stay at the other end of the pool for some quieter time. Slides were great fun and open from 10am-12 and 2pm-4pm, great fun for children and adults and with 1 or sometimes 2 lifeguards watching. Plenty of sun loungers available, we did have to get up a little earlier than we’d have liked for them but as everyone seemed to be doing the same, we decided to follow suit! Everyone moans about having to get up early for a sun bed, if you don’t like this way of life on holiday, I suggest you rent a private villa elsewhere so you get your pick of a bed! Unfortunately, this is the reality of an all Inclusive holiday abroad! Entertainment: we are not big entertainment fans on holiday and didn’t watch what was on offer so can’t comment on anything other than the Mini Disco! Very tricky if your English to understand the songs as they’re mostly German but the staff work very hard and give the children and parents good entertainment! Hotel shops: plenty of choice with shopping in the hotel with bags, shoes, jewellery, photographer, barber/hair braiding, clothing, gifts and souvenirs plus a shop with snacks and overpriced inflatables. Bar areas were great - good choice of drinks and if you fly with jet 2 you’re able to get premium brands of spirits. Games room: you can buy tokens for the machines or pay to play bowling. It’s not the cheapest but it can’t be free otherwise you’d never get a chance to play! Great fun for the all! Gym: I don’t exercise at the best of times so certainly wouldn’t entertain the idea of it on holiday! Sauna: looked great but didn’t use it. Shopping: Turn left out of the front of the hotel, follow the road all of the way down and you’ll find a huge array of shopping! Beach: walk out of the hotel, down the side of the shop on the right side and follow the path down. The beach is clean, beautiful and the sea is very warm. You can use the loungers for Adalya and also the snack bar! Q beach restaurant is lovely and the food is very tasty, it made a lovely evening watching the sun set and the staff are very friendly. Staff: No issues with any of the staff, all were exceptionally friendly and helpful and work very hard to make this hotel the best it is for their visitors, some struggle to speak English but do try their best to understand and communicate and what’s to stop us learning their language?! Antalya airport: expensive! Nothing else to say on this! Would we return, absolutely without hesitation! We came home feeling relaxed and completely satisfied with our choice of hotel for 10 days without a bad word to say! 😊

First holiday out of UK for 6 years with my three teenage children so was really looking forward to it and this hotel did not disappoint. Food was lovely, varied and plentiful there is something for everyone and if you are more adventurous there also more exotic dishes to try . The patisserie was truly spectacular and we all enjoyed sampling a different cake/s each day. The family room was ideal for us as I have two daughters and a son . Both rooms have a balcony with separate air conditioning controls , there is also cable tv in each room if you can’t live without tv during your stay. . If you want to be entertained then there is entertainment every evening and activities during the day otherwise you can relax at the stunning outdoor pool or lovely beach and beach bar with even more food during the day or if you want to escape the sun there is also an indoor pool. Pool does get quite busy in summer months so you have to get up early to get a sun lounger . Also there is a charge of 10 Euros for lost towel cards ( these are provided free which is good but just beware if you lose them. I want to mention all the staff or really did work hard to make our stay very pleasurable. The hotel clientele are a wonderful mix of different cultures and nationalities. My German certainly improved during my stay. Make sure you book one of the al-la-carte restaurants as quickly as possible on arrival as they do get booked up, we were there for 10 days so thought we would be entitled to more then just one but the food was great and we enjoyed being served by our waiter dressed in traditional Turkish dress. On the last night of our stay there was a bohemo beach party complete with orange red moon in the sky and Adalya really did put on a good night of dancing under the stars with the sand beneath our feet as I tried to relive my youth ! Thank you to all the staff for making this a holiday to remember for all the right reasons.
