We had a very pleasant experience of communicating with Liam when we initially booked and from that moment on everything followed in the same tone. Liam organised the transfer bus for our large group (13 in total) and there was not one grumble when we were 3 hours delayed from Dublin. We arrived into the wee hours of the morning and were brought to our apartment. We booked the 4 bedroom apartment and I was concerned that it would feel small as we brought our 7 kids this year but I was totally wrong. The apartments are freshly decorated, clean, extremely spacious and no one felt caged in. The apartment was fully equipped and even had a washing machine. The full size fridge/Freezer in the 4 beds is extremely handy for a large group.
The pool is a lovely size and there was always plenty of sunbeds available. The entire complex was kept spotlessly clean and there are pool and ping pong tables available to rent for a minimal fee.
The local Dolmus bus is literally directly across the street and it's a short spin to the Centrum for a miniscule price. Or alternative if you're travelling in a large group like us you can get the staff to call their recommended taxi driver Ahmet who will take you wherever you want to go for a reasonable price.
What can I say about the staff - they were amazing. Nesh and his staff in the restaurant and bar were all top class. They were friendly, attentive and funny as well! Completely professional but also charming and warm. We ate most days in the hotel and the food quality was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes and drinks available.
And the front of house was no exception either. Christine, Liam and Julie are probably some of the most genuine people that I have ever met in the hotel industry. They genuinely care about their guests and went out of their way to help us in every way they could with any inquiry that we made. Not only that but they would stop for a chat any time you are passing reception. They were warm, friendly and caring while also being professional and excellent at their job. I will definitely be back to the Whispering Sands in the future.

My Dear 663fionam, what a very lovely review you have written. I agree with you about the staff...all great people you would be happy to call your friend, and indeed they are to us. They work so hard but always have a smile on their face and a moment to share with you. They are professional because this is their job, but they go about everything in the right way. I know I can trust them to look after our guests and see that everyone is safe and happy. For myself, Christine and Julie it is a real blessing to be here and doing this work. We get to meet so many fantastic people who become our friends almost overnight. They see us as just ordinary people, like themselves, doing whatever it takes to make sure everyone gets the utmost from their holiday that they have worked so long and so hard for. It is the people who come here who make Whispering Sands such a brilliant holiday destination, and yes the people who work here help too, but without you there would be no need for us. For you and for many there will be a connection long before your arrival, as I pass on various information to those who book directly with us, or indeed make contact even if they have booked through one of our agency outlets. This line of communication is important as it sets the tone and gives people an understanding of how we go about our business, and ultimately, how their holiday will turn out. I would encourage everyone to make contact with us prior to their arrival and begin the adventure as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing you sing some more in our future karaoke nights. Take care until then. Liam

Just returned from an excellent stay at Whispering Sands. Given the Covid situation I was wary that tourist destinations wouldn’t have the strict rules we have in the U.K.
But I was pleasantly surprised, not only with the all the staff at Whispering sands wearing masks, providing hand sanitizer, cleaning surfaces etc but also restaurants and the general public in town.
Good location a short trip in the Dolumus out of town, with the bus even coming to the front door!
Food was great - esp the T-bone steak
Will be back
Thanks Liam and family

Hi Londontraveler95, many thanks for taking the time to write a review about your experience at Whispering Sands and the town of Kusadasi. It is really important for us that our guests understand what we do to help our guests enjoy their holiday. We have gone to great lengths to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff in these difficult times, with this virus sweeping all around the world. Not only are we doing our bit but also, as you rightly point out, the bars and restaurants downtown in Kusadasi, are taking the safety of the public very seriously indeed. Hopefully a vaccine can be developed soon and the misery that Covid19 is causing will come to an end. Too true...the T-Bone steak is excellent...I've had it too :) Without a doubt our chefs are superb. I hope you will come back soon to visit us. Stay safe. Liam

Just had a fabulous two weeks here and it is the most friendliest place we have stayed, ever! ALL the staff are very warm & welcoming, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble and it is well run by the whole team! Can't single anyone out as they were all lovely!
We had a two-bedroom apartment, overlooking the pool, which was spacious, comfortable and had everything you needed. No regular maid service was available (this could be organised at a cost) but this was not a problem as there was a washing machine available in the apartment! There is great attention to detail throughout the complex, which has been well planned out, even with a 3 pin plug available in one of the rooms! The complex is a bit far out from the main town but there is a regular, dependable & low cost local minibus service right outside the gates (manned 24/7), running every 15 minutes from early morning until 11.30pm! There is a small market about 10 minutes walk away but larger supermarkets are in the town. Entertainment is available every night apart from Thursday, centered around the pool bar area. An additional downstairs bar ensures that late night entertainment does not disturb guests. Smoking is not permitted around the complex but there is a separate area for smokers provided. All these extra details make for an enjoyable stay!
We cannot praise this place highly enough and would definitely recommend it!

Dear Roving730227, many thanks for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review about your stay at Whispering Sands, and the beautiful town of Kusadasi. It is much appreciated. You are so correct about the staff, they are all so good, and we would be lost without them. They are a friendly group who have time for everyone, from the little children right up to the grandparents, and they help make Whispering Sands the best holiday destination you could possibly wish for. Christine and I very much enjoyed our conversations with you both. We are grateful that you chose to come to Whispering Sands for your holidays, and delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. On arrival at Whispering Sands we thought that perhaps we had made a mistake as the apartments are a short Dolmus bus ride away from the busy resort of Kusadasi. How wrong we were !! We much preferred the quieter area than the centre of Kusadasi.
The Whispering Sands apartments are kept very clean and the support team that work there are absolutely brilliant, friendly, polite and welcoming like the owners Liam and Christine.
The apartments are spacious, clean and equipped with the usual utensils if you wish to make some meals for yourselves. A bonus was a safe and air conditioning which was free of charge and worked extremely well. There was also a washing machine which we used and the items we washed ( bathers and towels ) dried very quickly on the clothes drying stand out on the balcony.
I was aware before travelling that there was no cleaning service provided to make beds, sweep the apartment and mop your floors before arrival which we are happy about but some people found this unusual. If you do want a midweek cleaning blitz I know Liam or Christine will arrange this for you at a charge. Let’s be fair, it’s no trouble to pull a sheet over your bed and mop a floor if you need too, there is a mop and bucket provided in your apartment.
If there is anything you are not sure of that you need to know it’s advisable to ask anyone of the team who are only happy to help.
The bar near the poolside provides various alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and the food served there is excellent quality and very reasonably priced.
There is a mini market and two well stocked supermarkets within walking distance and prices are much cheaper than in the U.K.
The Dolmus service as others have stated runs from outside the apartment gates and is an efficient service which runs every 15 minutes to and from the main resort from very early morning until 11.30pm. The current cost was 15 Turkish Lira each way for myself and wife ( 75p U.K. money )
Pool was great, kept spotlessly clean and always plenty of sunbeds.
We went with Jet 2 holidays who were excellent and wouldn’t hesitate booking with Jet 2 again. I did check whilst there if we were able to book again for early September next year from Bristol however, it’s only showing availability from Birmingham at the moment, I will wait a while to see if the flight/holiday becomes available for next year from Bristol for convenience.
Nothing more to say that hasn’t been covered in other reviews apart from a big Thank You to Liam, Christine and their brilliant team at Whispering Sands and hopefully we will see you all again next September.

Dear Fearless804273, September is a great month to come to Whispering Sands, just like May & June. It's not roasting hot; there's usually a cooling breeze just perfect when you are basking by the poolside; it's a bit quieter as there are not so many children; and not as crowded, so a bit more space to relax and chill out. It was our pleasure to meet you both and we are so happy that you enjoyed your holiday at Whispering Sands. You are right to point out that in many ways it is better to be a wee bit out of town, and in this way you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of Kusadasi, but also be able to step back to Whispering Sands and relax. I hope that Jet2 will put the Bristol flights on again for next summer, and I hope to see you both back here again soon. Take care. Liam.

We arrived to find we had not been allocated to a top floor as we had requested. This would have been great for looking at the marvellous sunsets. Instead we were on the ground floor and it was very spacious, really for 4 people...only 2 of us. Very well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils ,plug sockets, 2 bathrooms, big patio , good quality kettle and toaster. It cost over £40 for a thorough clean and change of bed linen and towels but we didn’t use this service.
Staff were very helpful and Julie seemed to be around nearly all the time to answer our queries. She even managed to find us a CD player which worked !
We paid extra for breakfast and most mornings opted for the International breakfast ( bacon,2 eggs, sausages, mushrooms , tomatoes and toast) . This kept us going until evening !There isn’t a dining room and all our meals were taken outside . There is an option of having food delivered to your room. Some mornings it was quite chilly and breezy.
The swimming pool was big and and well maintained. As it was right at the end of the season it was always easy to access. Security staff were present all day long. There were lots of cats around which we loved.
The dolmus bus service is excellent and very cheap and easy to navigate.
It was very quiet at night and no entertainment at that time of year. Take mosquito repellent if you need it as they were around. It was great being in a no smoking spot as there aren’t many in Turkey !
There were not many holiday makers around but it was nice spending time with other people who were staying there.
It is also residential and British people living there . Nearest supermarket a few minutes walk away. Prices seem to have gone up like every other country. Taxis were more than when we visited Turkey in May.
Local restaurants offer some very good food at really reasonable prices. All are a Dolmus ride away.
We had a good time and some very nice weather.
Thanks to all the staff.

Dear 18Angieh, many, many thanks for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review; it is very much appreciated as it will give everyone a chance to get an insight into what Whispering Sands is all about. It is quieter when you get to the end of September. The high season is over; children have gone back to school and now it is the time for couples, friends and solo guests to come stay with us. The temperature is still very comfortable during the day...sun creams are still necessary, and it is normally quite pleasant in the evenings too. This is a great time to be at Whispering Sands. I'm very glad that you enjoyed your stay and I hope we will see you again some time. Take care. Liam

We arrived at whispering sands on the 8/9/20. We were made to feel very welcome by yuçel as soon as we stepped through the gate. On entering our apartment first impression was that it was very big and spacious, modern , and immaculately clean. It had everything you would ever need and more . Looking around the apartment we had 2 bed,2 bath and 3 air conditioning units . Ideal considering it was very hot . We settled in then went for breakfast a few hours later . The full English was very nice , well presented and fresh. We had breakfast here every other day . We sat around the pool . We were always asked if everything was ok . Nesh the barman was always very nice as pleasant and more than helpful considering our 3 year old granddaughter never left him alone regarding ice cream and coke .she would shout for him from the balcony and every time he came over so she could give him her order .Wahap and Nihat such lovely young men always very helpful and very pleasant always smiling. We tried numerous different evening meals all really very tasty and very fresh .All prices are so reasonable. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a small issue with the washing machine. I reported this at reception and immediately the handyman was in our apartment checking it out . He removed the machine fixed it and returned it within the hour . I couldn’t find any faults with this complex . Lovely staff beautiful food . The pool was immaculate and well looked after as was everything else . I highly recommend this accommodation and hats of to Liam ,Christine and Julie fantastic hosts and really lovely people that make your stay so worth it will definitely be coming back ...

Dear AlyssonAliya, it's a pity you had to go home as I know you were really enjoying your stay at our Whispering Sands resort, and I know too that your little granddaughter became real good friends with our staff. She had them tied round her little finger lol. Yes the apartments are very spacious and cater easily for 6 adults, but best of all is how they are fitted out. You have everything you need for a great self catering holiday, and of course you don't have to cook if you don't want to, as our chefs will cook up some of the best food in Kusadasi for your enjoyment. So you can sit back, relax, chill out and enjoy your holiday. Our fantastic staff will look after you. We look forward to seeing you again and the staff are looking forward to seeing their "little friend" once more. Stay safe in these difficult times. Liam

We booked a weeks stay at Whispering Sands through Jet2 Holidays. It was our first holiday to Turkey and the when reviewing the hotels/apartments on their website I did a bit of research. All the reviews for Whispering Sands were very positive. The other 2 musts for our family was - air conditioning for our teenage son and the transfer wasn't more than an hour or so.

On arrival Liam and Christine gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. Christine showed us to our apartment which was in Block 4 on the first floor. The apartment was spacious - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a large living/kitchen/diner with all you needed for a weeks stay or longer.

When we woke on Sunday morning we went out to look for a local supermarket and Julie was at the bar and greeted us and gave us some directions and information of the area. Off we went only a few minutes walk (although it's hilly for those who are not as physically able) to the local supermarket that had everything we needed. Julie even advised that the milk is not kept in the fridge but on the shelf, which was a good tip as the fridge looks like it has milk but it is in fact a yoghurt.

The pool area had plenty beds, sun all day, smaller pool for young children, we loved that they played music at the pool and Hassan and the rest of the bar staff were friendly and attentive, speaking to you by name from the very start.

We ate in at the bar a couple of nights during our week, this included a night of entertainment which included a Michael Jackson type entertainer, Robots and Belly Dancer. It was a shame that although the resort was busy there were only us and another family there that evening. Karaoke on one of the evenings was great too. On the Friday they have a pool party led by Julie with games.

The Dolmus bus stopped right outside the apartment and took you right down to the seafront for 11 lira (roughly 30p) each way.

We also asked Christine to book us into the Turkish Bath which was a lovely experience at the Charisma Hotel.

We asked about keeping our apartment until we were due to depart, it was available and for £40 we didn't have to leave until we were picked up at 7.30 pm, this was a real bonus.

When we departed Christine was there to give us all a hug goodbye.

Whispering Sands ticked all of our boxes and we had a fantastic week.

Thank you to Liam, Christine, Julie, Hassan and the rest of the team.

Your review and all the reviews we have received over the years, allow any person who is thinking about coming here for their holidays, a chance to have a glimpse at Whispering Sands; what it is all about; our mentality with regard to how we go about our business; and some feedback from those who have been here before. The Tripadvisor review system is very important to us, and we appreciate everyone, who takes the time to write about their experience staying at Whispering Sands. We have been going to Kusadasi for many years as a family of five (three teenagers) We previously stayed all inclusive and this was our first time self catering. We arrived late and were greeted with a very warm welcome by Liam and Christine. Our apartment was spotless clean had a fantastic pool view. It was a very well equipped spacious two bedroom apartment. An added bonus was the en-suite bathroom which was a definite positive for a family getting ready in the evening, We ate at the snack bar during the day which was tasty and reasonably priced. Kaleen and Ryan ran a fantastic bar and were very attentive looking after our every need. The pool was lovely with plenty of sun beds ( no need to get up at the crack of dawn). The complex was serviced by dolmus and taxi. We were never waiting any longer than 10 minutes for a taxi with a price of 100 lira to Centrum or Ladies Beach. A big shout out to Julie who looked after our every need always with a smile. We were given a lovely farewell from Liam and Christine as we disappeared into the distance in our taxi to the airport.

Hi Wanderer623551, we believe it is very important to be here ourselves to welcome our guests to Whispering Sands, no matter what time of the day or night they arrive. We also think it to be extremely important to personally thank everyone for choosing Whispering Sands as their holiday destination, as we bid them farewell at the end of their stay. As the summer progresses, time slips away so quickly, and before we know it the holiday is over, and our friends are leaving. This is a sad time for us because we are saying goodbye to our new found friends, or to our friends from before. But the most important thing for us is that everyone leaves having had the best ever holiday. Take care. Liam

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at Whispering Sands, it was the friendliest and most relaxing holiday you could wish for and far exceeded expectations. The food was amazing and we ate there most days, which is something we never do. The apartment was great and had everything you could possibly need. Weather was very hot so the air conditioning in each room was much appreciated. But the best part of all was the friendliest, helpful Owners and Staff that went that 'Extra Mile'to ensure your every want and need was met. Thank you Liam,Christine,Julie, Nash,Ned,Cook, and all staff for making our holiday so special and memorable. We would not hesitate to return and will be recommending your 'Haven'to all xx

Hi Rebecca C, the 4 bedroom has Master bedroom with en suite shower, Guest bedroom with en suite shower, and bedrooms 3 & 4 share a bathroom with shower over bath. The 4 bedroom apartment will definitely be good for 6 people, unless you are two families and want your own space. Hope to see you next summer. Liam

Hi Rebecca C, yes there is a small charge to play as this helps us to control the the table usage better. The charge is not set for next summer yet, but as a guide will probably be around £1 for 30 minutes. Take care Liam

Hi Flyer815999, it would be best to ask Ramada this question. I would hazard a guess and say it is probably about 5 miles from Ladies Beach. Take care. Liam
