First time in Turkey so had no expectations at all, Hotel was lovely, staff were friendly and food in the pool bar and restaurant was good. The beach was at the bottom of a short but steep hill but only 10 mins to walk down and maybe 15 to walk back up. Took a taxi to pigeon island to see the castle and booked a jeep safari which was a really good day out, didnt go to the centre of kusadasi as we were happy lazing round the pool most days. Kids pool was brill and under shade and whole pool area could be seen at all times so felt safe letting my daughter wander round and play with the other kids. Would have liked the onsite shop to open a little later as it closed at 5pm but it was well stocked with essentials.
Would recommend to families and those wanting a quiet chilled holiday.

Just back from a week at Tuntas and overall we had a good time.
The staff in the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble to them.
Apartments are a bit tired but are clean and towels changed every few days.
The lighting in the apartments isn’t good in the evening when trying to get ready for a night out.
WiFi only works in the lobby and sometimes by the pool but that didn’t really bother us.
Ask for a room with a sea view as due to other inconsiderate holiday makers I had to move room from a pool view to a room at the back to avoid the drunken screaming and fights at 4am!
Food is cheap and a good menu to choose from. Never had a bad meal.
There is a shop onsite for essentials that opens to 5pm each day and a migros at ladies beach were we stocked up too.
The mosque is beside the pool and there is a call to prayer about 5 times a day. I enjoyed listening to it but just to make you aware it is loud.
Ladies beach is a 5 minute walk away. We walked down the famous hill beside the apartments but in the heat couldn’t walk back up but there were plenty of taxis.
All in all a we had a great time. Just a few things to consider that would have made it better.

If you want cheap and cheerful this is for you. We weren’t expecting anything posh but the rooms here were much more basic then we thought. Visited 13th-20th Sep. Weather was lovely and location good apart from that hill it really is killer so take sensible shoes. Pool area was larger then expected with plenty of sun beds available and the snack menu was average but did the job.
Right in front of the mosque so be prepared for a 5.45 wake up call and also lots of noise in the corridors at night.
Air con is a bit of a con as not in the bedroom and is temperamental but when it worked it was good. Didn’t like the being made to pay to take bags into room when we didn’t have a choice but I guess that’s just how they are.
For what we paid we can’t complain as we had a great holiday and the room it’s self was cleaned every day with toilet roll refilled. Sink and fridge could do with a deep clean but as I said you get what you pay for. Not a huge amount going on in the area but the central town is 5 minutes by taxi for around £2.

1st time in this area, if you have mobility problems look for another hotel as this is very very hilly. The hotel is OK, pool area nice and comfy, rooms basic & cleanish, have to put something on your feet when getting out of the shower as the floor was not mopped in the whole 10days, the cleaning in the rooms is not the best!! View from room is amazing ask for 701 or 702. Lift to each floor, hairdryer in room, food very cheap, cooking facilities are basic, 2 rings, kettle, no toaster.
£2 in a taxi to main centre for shopping to walk it will take about 45min on a very very busy main road.
Beach cam get very busy especially on a Sunday with locals, £2 to hire sunbeds on Beach, best place to eat is somewhere else on ladies beach it is amazing. At the hotel you can set up a bar bill and pay end of holiday which is good. All in all not a bad hotel, not spotless but not filthy, good enough for the price. Just remember it is very very hilly.

Just returned from the Tuntas hotel after a lovely weeks holiday. Rooms are very basic and need updating but are very clean. The cleaners come in everyday including Sundays and fresh towels are left every day. The staff are so helpful and very friendly they all work very hard and can't do enough for you, I would definitely return without a doubt for this reason alone. We managed to get a sunbed round the pool but had to get up early as some people would put their towels down as early as 6 O'clock and one family left their towels out all day/Night for the whole stay. Ladies beach is a 5 minute walk away and worth walking down the very steep hill to get to and at night the sunset is breath taking. Murphy's bar and restaurant in Kusadasi is a great place to eat, Frankie can not do enough for you he will arrange for you to be taken home at the end of the evening free of charge and will collect you should you wish to eat there again.

I have to say we really enjoyed our time at the Tuntas family suites. We were slightly concerned reading the reviews about the hill being steep but we didn't find it to be difficult and it was too far to get to the hotel from the bottom so it didn't affect us. Its in a great location to walk to ladies beach and tou get get a bus or taxi in to town easy enough. The hotel staff were welcoming amd happy to help woth any issues. The entertainment team were very friendly and always trying to get everyone involved in the daily activities. The rooms were basic but spacious and ok for what we required. You have to pay extra for air con and the safe, the air con wasn't always needed with the curtains closed but nice to have when required. Towels could of been changed more regularly than every few days but the room was cleaned daily. Food amd drinks weren't expensive and was ok for convenience. We would return again of we went back to Kusudasi.

Stayed here in may of this year, what can I say?very polite receptionist on arrival but all downhill from there..door handle to room didn’t look like it was going to last very long and on entering room noticed it was very old and tired looking half falling apart.beds were very uncomfortable and stained sheets and towels.there were ants crawling inside the room by balcony door and mosquitos was an issue most nights of our stay!the fridge made a terrible racket to the point u could not sleep and the socket was falling off the wall in the kitchen, walls very thin sounds echoed everywhere so was very noisy.the sink seemed to leak water everywhere so we always had a wet floor in the bathroom.
breakfast staff were very friendly but the food was basic and was the same items every morning that it became tiring, cats in restaurant very sweet but one was up on the buffet eating from the plate of meat one morning needless to say we gave that a miss!!portions of cheese spread had turned sour and gone bad and not everything seemed fresh.
Another downside was the WiFi which only worked around the reception/lobby
We couldn’t use the safe in room as this cost extra and you had to pay for the air conditioning too
Hotel is in good location not far from ladies beach but good luck with the hill leading to and from the hotel,we walked up It once and never ever attempted it again.explains why there’s a bench by the hotel entrance if you don’t sit you may collapse from exhaustion
We didn’t use the pool but noticed how cramped the sunbeds were,it’s a shame this hotel looks so old and tired as the views from room are amazing.
Having stayed at Kuşadası many times and in various hotels I can honestly say this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in and sadly will not be returning

Let me start off this review by saying this was an EPIC experience. Fun for all the family. At first appearance this hotel is stunning, I was flipping amazed by the choice of decoration when I walked in. It's safe to say that it blew my socks off. It was a divine, heavenly, and celestial experience. The price to stay here was low, it's an absolute steal given the current economic situation, and you simply can't say no to Tuntas. The only downside was the Wireless Fidelity, which I could only connect to in reception. This meant that my hours on my mobile telecommunications device received a serious cutdown. Who needs portable multimedia devices when you're here anyways? The pool is bliss, a lovely, cooling, chilling array of water to submerge my warm body in (it gets bloody PIPING hot in Turkey, please make sure you pack suncream or else you will face great turmoil!!) After a long day of swimming, and throwing some mental shapes to the banging tunes played at the poolside, the kips you can have in the room are simply unmatched. The best sleep of my life. As soon as my head hit that pillow I was knocked out clean - cleaner than the rooms are, and let me tell you they shine bright like a diamond! I took a gander at the menu, looking for some flavoursome food, when it arrived it was simply delish, simply mouthwatering, simply beautiful. The staff were cordial, especially the J Nic NPC, fuss free and nimble service. Rest assured, I WILL be returning.. Mark my words for it. If you're looking for a riveting holiday experience, have no fear, Tuntas is here!

Stayed end of August for 2 weeks. Air conditioning a waste of money as its not in the bedroom only in the kitchen/lounge! Had food once made my partner sick too greasy. TV didn't work. If you want an early morning wake up call its the correct place to stay mosque right behind the hotel. 😞 The hill the hotel is on or even mountain, the locals even refured to it as cardiac Hill no good if your not physically fit. WiFi was very difficult to connect to kept throwing us off. Was difficult to get a sunbed as people kept there towles on the sunbeds all day and night, then turn up from a day out to get the sun bed for an hour! (Selfish) Lots of people swearing alot glad I didn't have young children. Kids running up and down the hotel corridors from 6am shouting.
Entertainment was none existence!
The only good thing about this hotel was the cleaner whom worked extremely hard and the view of the sunset.
Never again!!!

We always use this hotel . After having a few years break from turkey we returned again, we were welcomed like family by mehmet the manager and the amazing reception staff and lovely Sikine. Made a new friend for life with Leo from the bar, and Ali who we thought had left is back so we have adopted him as our step son. Each and every staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day and nothing is any trouble, restaurant, bar and pool are immaculate. The hill outside is very steep but we mastered it after a couple of days , down the hill is ladies beach with lots of bars and restaurants with friendly staff and a wide choice of food. Up the hill is the mosque and if you cross the road catch a dolmus bus into the centrum with many bars restaurants and shops, try out ricks place 2 , extremely friendly staff and amazing food, and tubourg lager on draft . Over all we had an amazing 2 week holiday in the tunas and thankyou to all the staff for making us part of your family , we love you all . See you all next year xx
