Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fantastic inn. With rates a bit lower than others in the area we were very pleased that it seemed if anything more authentic. Very earnest and caring hosts, a wonderful room, and of course purely magical views! Plus, they have the best dog ever.

Even before we arrived, our host and hotel manager Gülcan was very helpful - she offered to organize a shuttle for us to the hotel, and also offered to write her any time if we had questions beforehand. We arrived at new year's eve and there was a lot going on, despite that, Gülcan was very welcoming and served us tea and cookies and even ordered us a dinner from a nearby take-out ("Firin Express", which I can highly recommend! Simple and good.). Our room (Battal) was huge and clean, especially in winter we can recommend this room because it has its own hamam with a hot stone which we used every evening when we returned from our day trips in the cold. And you can really trust the photos on their website, our room was even nicer than expected. You can pay by credit card, but you pay 5% more, so payment in cash Euros or Dollars saved us the 5%. Not only was Gülcan welcoming, her breakfast was very nice too - especially her Gözleme was delicious!! And before you book any tours with groups (around 40 Euros including museum entries and lunch) or private tours with the local taxi drivers (the drivers offer private tours, but: up to "overpriced" 100$ a day and you can't even go where you want) - so ask Gülcan! She knows best :)

We recently stayed in the larger cave room with our family of four and we really enjoyed it so much! The layout of the cave works with rooms on different levels and it was fun moving from room to room. You will definitely take away a sense of what it is like living in a cave with very comfortable furniture and beds. There's even a wood stove in the living room for use during the chilly nights. We all slept very well. The owners Rose and Aydin were very kind in explaining the local sights to see and gave us so much of their time to assist us. We really appreciated Aydin's help, who went out of his way on something we needed and Rose who gave us really good tips and took us to the Caravanserai. If you get time this is a wonderful experience amongst the other things to do and you're in very good hands if Rose can arrange it for you. A very memorable stay :)

We stayed here during winter, so we did not managed to catch the hot air balloon. However, the owner was super nice to suggest other activities such as horse riding and ATV, and they brought us to Hamam place as well as the authentic food places instead of touristy once. They have connections with activity place and got us a good rate. We book a private tour with them and they brought us too so many place and we can stop whenever we want to to take photos. Highly highly recommended. Trust me, you will never regret it!

I have stayed at 2 different places while in Cappadocia and I truly love this place. Everyone is so amazing. Rose the manager happened to see me one day for the first time and immediately came and introduced herself. The staff was so warm and friendly!!! The views in this place can't be beat and the balloons while I was there felt like you can touch them because they were so close. The room itself was very spacious and you get a true feel of what it's like living in a fairy chimney.

We spent 4 days, 3 nights in this original very comfortable and clean hotel. The Rose is extremely helpful and will do her best to accommodate you and guide you in Cappadocia. For people interested in a real cave experience, this is the place. I will certainly go back!

The best experience in Kappadokia! A traditional cave hotel, the oldest in the area, with amazing views and a room which ages almost two thousand years old! Yulcan (Rose) was the perfect host, really friendly and helpful with everything, made us feel like home!!! Great breakfast and tasty omelettes from Farhan! Thank you for everything and we will definitely visit you again in the future!

A very unique and interesting place to stay. The owner, Rose, could not do enough for you very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful and great. the views spectacular over the valley. There are a lot of steps at this hotel and it sits on top of a hill.
