We stayed in this house for a weekend in 2006. The family owned hotel-house was a great experience.. We loved their slow paced...peaceful.life.. The natural local food was fantastic... You can buy local hand made home textiles from.the shops around... It is a great experience.

Rasitler Bag Evi is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Owners are sooooooo kind, breakfast was amazingly tasty and the design of our room, the wooden ceiling and the old style wooden windows took us back to our childhood. We stayed only two nights but we will definitely be back for more.

A friend and I were traveling to Ankara for a two week conference and decided to spend the weekend in Safranbolu. We arrived late because of a flight delay but Erhan was kind enough to stay up and wait for us and even helped us up with our bags. Our room was spacious and simply decorated with traditional Turkish designs...

We really enjoy our stay in this historical house. "Papa" and "mama" treated us like their family members, they cared about us and did everything to fulfill our needs. Although the location is not perfect for tourists, the host provides free pick-up and drop-off service. The house itself is extremely clean and cozy, and the neighborhood is very quiet. We...

We stayed here for 1 night recently based on its excellent reputation. We were not disappointed. We stayed in the Bas Oda (Master/Head Bedroom) and it was like stepping back in time. You go to Safranbolu and pay to visit historical houses to get a feel for the way people used to live. Here, you experience it first-hand because the...

Without a doubt, this was the best stay I've had during my two weeks in Turkey. The house, needless to say was beautiful! If you're looking to experience an authentic Ottoman stay, this house will not disappoint, the nearly 300 years old place is filled with history! Erhan was so helpful with everything, picking us up from the bus station...

We have stayed in many hotels all around the world, including 5+ star ones. I can tell that we have never seen any place cleaner and more peaceful than Raşitler Bağ Evi. Although it is a bit far away from the old city, I strongly recommend you this place. One more thing: the breakfasts are amazing. Everyday we were served...

We spent 3 great days in Rasitler Bag Evi in Safranbolu. It was a 350 years old mansion, renovated recently to a perfect accommodation. Every detail from Buldan fabric linens to elegant furniture were selected or repaired from the old times by the hosts Umran and Erhan-nice, talkative couple. They helped us for the ideas about the restaurants to eat...

We had debated for a while whether to stay in one of the Ottoman pensions in the old city. If you don't have a car that would be your best option. But the raves for Raşitler Bağ Evi pension on Trip Advisor convinced us, even though it is on the northern outskirts of this small town. terraencounters.blogspot.com The minute we...
