This was a quaint hotel in an offbeat part of Turkey. The hotel is centrally located in Safranbolu. It is in the market area known for its saffron. Turkish delight can be bought there as in all parts of Turkey. The rooms are on the dark and cozy side. Very quiet. Doors used some very elaborate keys that I found... More

It is at the old city center and close to the main attractions, near to long trade axis starting from the old city square to the copperworking shops. Having a good inn-yard, using an otopark in adjacent area. A well designed restaurant and conventional mansion style but a bit dark rooms. Breakfast was also great to make a good start... More

Lokum Konak Boutique Hotel Safranbolu The rooms are nothing special, small, limited furnishing and decor, just your average small town hotel. Being the month of October, it can be quite cool. Hotel management will not turn on the heat to the rooms till after 20:00, and even then the rooms are cool. As for taking a shower, first turn on... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of an organised tour. The hotel is full of character and ambience, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant food although basic was very tasty. It was only a short walk to the town and we loved walking along the cobblestone streets and exploring the numerous shops and... More

This is a bit different to your average hotel. Lovely Ottoman mansion. Everything is a bit dark with wooden ceilings . Room was clean and comfortable but very hot. There were no outside windows , all windows looked down on the interior of the house. There is an air conditioner but it was not very efficient and very noisy. Dinner... More

Interesting traditional style hotel. Very small room, ridiculously small bathroom (too small to even change your mind?) Nice food, indifferent service. Close to all the local sights, great Turkish Delight. Air con didn't work, very warm, windows tiny.

This boutique hotel is located in a narrow, cobbled side street very close to the main square of Safranbolu, within walking distance to the attractions of the town. The building itself is a lovely typical ottoman mansion, traditionally furnished. The room was comfortable and clean, with a minibar, TV (Turkish channels only), slippers, free in-room WIFI. The walls would certainly... More

Loved this hotel! Our room was more like a suite than a hotel room. We had a separate bedroom and living room and a nice big bathroom. Air con was dodgy though. Had a very filling evening meal and adequate breakfast next morning.

This is an amazing hotel. Very traditional building, all the rooms are different and large. We only had one night here, I wish it had been more. Loved every bit of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. The village is quaint and picturesque.
