This is a long read but hopefully a helpful one.

We visited in June this year for the first time. First time in Turkey, and first time to a Sensatori. This will not be the last. So much so that we’ve booked again already for next year.

The journey from the airport is 40mins (approx) on the included coach. We were the second stop. The first being The Residence next door.
Coach was air conditioned, and the driver had a small shop onboard selling drinks.

We arrived at the hotel at 01:30hrs and as soon as we got off the coach the staff were there to greet us and organize our cases. As we walked through the door we were given a cool refreshing towel and a glass of champagne with an incredibly warm welcome from all the team.
Once checked in our cases were taken away and brought up to us as we settled into the room.

ROOM:
The room we were allocated was 1320 in the adult only section which was overlooking the adult only pool and you could see the sea through the trees. Sold as a “Limited sea view” but it was absolutely perfect.
The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well decorated. AirCon was excellent. There was plenty of storage and a safe also, as well as some included toiletries, iron and ironing board, and a laundry service (although we didn’t use this during our stay). The bed was so comfortable too. Towelling robes and slippers included. The room was the nicest room we’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t fault a thing.
Rooms are cleaned and stocked up daily.

POOL:
As we were in adults only section this is where we spent our pool days. However we did wander around and the family area was just as nice. The pool was warm and the staff were completing water safety and temperature checks regularly. There are many sun beds and lounging areas around the pool however, people did get up at 6:00am to reserve beds. This wasn’t an issue for us as we sat at the bar at the side of the pool but if you are wanting to get a sun bed then it’s worth noting that there was no enforcing of the “no towels before 09:00” rule.
Side note: there are plenty of sun beds on the beach if you can’t get one at the pool.

BARS:
All bars serve branded spirits and cocktails. Cocktails can be made to order providing they have the ingredients. Even though at times there were people queuing, you never queued for long. One small thing for us is that we are pink gin drinkers and on a couple of occasions there was no pink gin anywhere. That said, the staff did work to try and accommodate us and made us other drinks that were similar in taste. Our favourite cocktails were the strawberry mojito, strawberry daiquiri, mango daiquiri, coconut daiquiri, and the bolero.
The adult only Neoman Bar was perfect for a sunset cocktail or two with amazing views and ambience.

FOOD:
We weren’t holding out much hope for the buffet as in other AI places it gets a bit “samey” but this place is outstanding; from whole salt baked salmon, half sides of beef, fresh grilled meats, plentiful salads and sides we never got bored of finding something to eat. There were vegetarian and vegan options too, as well as gluten free. Each night is themed and the staff work so hard at making sure you’re catered for and the food remains regularly topped up and fresh. For fussy eaters, there is still lots to choose from.
The breakfast was also delicious. For those who like a pork sausage and bacon, this was available in its own pork section (remember you’re in a Muslim country) but the eggs were probably my favourite. Smoked salmon, poached eggs and avocado was top tier. There’s also a panini toasting machine if you just fancy a grilled cheese, along with all other expected breakfast items.

We went to two of the a la carte restaurants, TAO Asian which was just ‘nice’. We were probably the most disappointed with this one although we appreciate that this is personal taste as others loved it. Basillico Italian was stunning. We actually ate lunch there a few times too as you don’t need a reservation for lunch and the food menu is 80% the same as the evening menu so well worth it. We also tried Amber but this was only ever “after hours” at night once we had drank all night and to be honest, if you’re drunk and want a snack then yeah, it’s ok. But nothing to shout about. The thing about Amber is that this is the room service menus too which you have to pay for, yet free if you go yourself.
We also ate at Sunset Steak House (Sunset Bar?) and this was utterly beautiful. This is a paid for restaurant and it’s worth every penny. The mushroom soup was probably the best I’ve ever eaten.

Food is available 24/7.

There are food stalls around the resort throughout the day too including jacket potatoes, doner kebabs, and Pide.

STAFF:
There are no words to describe the staff here and how hard they work. The service is exceptional from the second you walk in to the minute you leave when they wave you off.

We have to give special mentions to:

Buffet waiter - Sinan
Boardwalk/Sunset Bar - Mesut
Lounge Bar - Hassan
Garden Party - Murat Eryilmaz
Adult bar - Osman
Manager - Resul Karapinar

They were incredible and really looked after us throughout our stay. The service was so incredible that we just kept tipping them and it was worth every penny.
They remembered our names, what drinks we liked, our glasses were never empty, they really went above and beyond. They really did make our holiday.

TIPPING:
Tipping is not required but it is commonplace throughout Turkey. We found that TL 100 was considered a very good tip (exchange rates at the time meant that it worked out at around £3.80 so check rates for your stay as it may be worth more or less).

ENTERTAINMENT:
Mixed reviews here. The Boardwalk is where the family shows take place as well as the guest artists. We found that the family shows were at best “ok” but as adults this is mostly because they are tailored towards families. The guest entertainment was much better. Special mentions to the guest acrobatic show and Tom Jones who were brilliant. The silent disco was also huge fun. There is live music in the piano bar nightly and this is excellent. There is a variety of music here and Janet was brilliant. She even sang one of my favourite songs on request!
There were two garden parties while we were there and these were a lot of fun. Entertainment was a DJ with a trumpet and sax player and a drummer.

REPS:
The TUI reps are onsite every day and we found them all to be really friendly and helpful. Especially as the app was glitchy and nobody was able to book the a la carte restaurants on it. We also used them to book an excursion (adult boat trip). Although it was a lovely day, there are far better deals to be had on much better (prettier?) boats / catamarans in Fethiye.

MISC:
There are fridges filled with cold bottled water all over so you never have to go thirsty.

Cabana:
We booked this during our stay and it was beautiful. We were looked after by Cesar who was on hand all day for anything we may have needed (or didn’t know we wanted). Well worth the €80 and would recommend.

Towel stations:
There are fresh towels available almost everywhere.

Shops on resort are expensive and you can find better deals over the road or even better if you travel into Fethiye.

Salon / Spa:
We didn’t use this but we spoke to people who did and said that the men’s barber was excellent.

Grounds:
Beautiful and immaculate. The grounds team were regularly tending to the grounds to maintain them. The smell of the fresh flowers and climbers was beautiful.

Beach:
Beach is very pretty. Raked and cleaned daily. There are some rocks so water shoes may be advised. We really enjoyed swimming in the sea.

Mosquitoes:
Take repellant or buy it as soon as you arrive. It is cheaper to buy at home and take with you if possible, as the mosquitoes are savage and love pasty white British legs. Especially at the garden parties in the evenings.

This was truly a 5* experience and we would not hesitate to recommend. We cannot wait to come back next year.

Thank you for an amazing holiday!

Went for a week for some Sun before this winter!

TUI flight good as had Dreamliner on and flight landed 30 minutes early

Getting through security and collecting bags very slow due to several TUI flights arriving similar times presumably to allow consolidation of transfers

Waited on Coach best part of an hour whilst stragglers came through

Memo to self - Private Transfer worth the extra cost!

40 minutes to Hotel

Speedy greet and through reception to room and bags arrived quickly

We unpacked and were in bar in 20 minutes and were surprised no masks!!!

Been advised to reserve sun loungers early so was up at 7 to secure spot. Less beds than normal due to Covid but if you want a particular spot worth doing

Breakfast at the Buffet limited. Masks and Plastic gloves to be worn

Bar service round pools and beach bars good with plenty of choice

Lunched at Buffet most days where selection was great

One tip do your restaurant reservations at Guest Relations when it opens at 9.00am on your first day as hard to get in them all when you want. Probably easier if there longer than a week

Niemans

Brilliant worth money and wished had gone twice

Sunset

Ok menu. Strange Yorkshire Puddings! Only drawback outside so can be hot and steamy

Chinese

Great really enjoyed good menu

Italian

Disappointing Minestrone. Seafood Ravioli was excellent Meat for mains poor quality

Turkish

Nice food. Great starters and Liver. Chicken skewers nice but avoid Lamb Shanks cooked too quickly and tough

Rooftop Bar

Great views get there at 25 or 55 past the hour and nab a front row seat as diners move to their restaurant

Lounge Bar great service and fun

Shows

Soul man good along with ensemble Rock Show. Majesty and Deco Dance were truly appalling

Not the performers fault as content shocking

If it’s the lead Yagit’s choice then get rid of him

He doesn’t sing is an average dancer but takes all the solos

Piano Bar

Pianist good but needs a personality implant as doesn’t interact with his audience

Did the Cabana which was nice. Was advised to tip first thing to ensure good service which I did but only got average on the day

Went to Fethiye via the boat for the market. Same old same old stuff and you will be done in an hour!

Room was well equipped and serviced well but TV choices very limited

Service was generally very good but Baris at the Buffet for breakfast was exceptionally good

Overall Good resort with excellent layout and staff who try hard to please. We enjoyed and would go again which for us is a real positive

Travelled here on 28th September for 14 days. All COVID-19 precautions taken by hotel, temperatures taken on arrival, luggage sprayed and taken to room. We had a swim up room (gorgeous) which caught the sun most of the day, although spent most of our time round adult pool where sun beds were socially distanced. Waiter service for drinks round pool. Only disappointment was that premium drinks weren’t included in all inclusive but always managed to find drinks we liked. Sea was strange, warm with sudden cold currents but still enjoyable, water do clear you can see fish swimming around.
Temperature taken on entering restaurants, mask and disposable gloves provided in buffet restaurant where you could serve yourself, food was in lidded heated containers behind sliding doors. Tried the Asian, Italian and Turkish a large carte restaurants, the Asian was our favourite, food excellent throughout. Staff very attentive. Four days into our holiday Boris announced quarantine for 14 days on our return, some people chose to go home at that point , the TUI reps stayed until midnight that night trying to sort flights out for them. We decided to stay and didn’t regret it, was sorry to see hotel slowly having to close down and staff finishing early due to decreasing numbers of holidaymakers.

My wife and I have just returned from 14 days at this resort and had a fantastic time.
Location
This was fine, you did need a taxi to the nearest town of calis but it was only 15mins away and had a range of shops and bars. We also went to Fethiye one night for a meal on the harbour side this was about 25 mins in a Taxi.
Rooms.
I did request a high floor quiet room which was what we got however the balcony was not great as if you lying down on a longer you could only see a brick wall. The room itself was massive so no complaints with that.
We decided to upgrade to a swim up room which cost £50 extra a night, it was a nice to have especially in 37c of heat!
Beach

The beach was fine, OK it had a few pebbles but once you were in the sea it had a sandy bottom, you could enter the sea by the boardwalk steps so it's not essential to pack beach shoes.
The sea was lovely at 29c and we swam the bay on numerous occasions, the scenery was lovely with the surrounding mountains and islands.
Food
We managed to eat in all the restaurants, they were all of a high standard, our favourites were the Amber and the neon.
The main restaurant was fine with loads of choices, big shout out to Marianne who made my fantastic omelettes every morning.
Each lunchtime we ate at the sunset restaurant which was really good.
Drink
The standard of drinks was really good with cocktails made properly and draft beers of effes and becks.
Pools
The pool area in the adults only section was really nice and clean with a swim up bar the family Are looked great for the kids. There was also a water slide area.
We didn't spend much time here as we liked the breeze on the beach. I did notice towels going down early around the pool areas.
Cabanas
We loved these and paid twice for them, £60 a day well spent in our eyes, the service was exceptional.
Gym/classes
We used the well equipped gym on numerous occasions and my wife attended a couple of hit classes which she enjoyed even in 34c of heat. We also used the indoor pool after our Gym sessions, this was a bit chilly but so refreshing.
We played tennis a couple of times and the 2 courts are of a good standard.
Staff
This for us was the highlight of the whole holiday, a big thank you to Sulyman and Faruk who looked after so well in the cabanas, they were both fantastic.
Ali was very professional looking after us at breakfast and we wish him all the best in his future plans.
Number one for us was Basri he was fantastic in all aspects and had us laughing every day. All the staff deserve a pay rise that's for sure.
Overall a fantastic holiday and we will return, which we have never done before!

We’re not usually the ones for a ‘relaxing beach holiday’, usually opting for city breaks. But after the year that 2020 has been, and having multiple holidays changed and cancelled, we opted for this resort for 10 nights of R&R and I must say it’s been the best holiday we have ever had. We were impressed as soon as we arrived, with staff taking our luggage, disinfecting it and the TUI rep (Chloe) walking us to our room and showing us around the resort on our way.

The service has been the absolute highlight of the trip, with bar staff and restaurant staff being the most friendly and attentive staff we’ve come across. Nothing was too much bother, always happy to help and remembering you and your orders. Unfortunately we never caught the names but the guy that was in the adult section every morning for breakfast, quickly learned our drinks orders as we sat on the same table, and most mornings we turned up with the drinks already on the table for us. The same with the bar, the one barman (I promised you I’d write this 3 times) was incredible, always up for a laugh and a chat. Whenever he saw us approaching a bar he’d already have the drinks being prepared.

We felt so safe and secure in the result during COVID-19, the measures the hotel put in place are very reassuring. All staff wear masks 24/7, hand sanitizer every couple of steps, sun beds and tables in restaurants distanced from each other, everything cleaned and disinfected between uses.

Cabana day is an absolute must! €60 for 9am- 6pm, waiter service all day and constant sun due to the beach location.

We will definitely be back *hopefully* in the very near future.

Currently staying at this hotel (2nd visit) very last minute booking as we weren’t sure about coming away. I was very apprehensive but there was no need to be! Face masks to be worn in the airport, plane and on transfers to the hotel. Check in was fine no issues, requested a high floor and got it. We came last year so I knew the drill about booking restaurants with guest relations ASAP and same with the cabanas which we loved! The service was amazing from the waiter which we had👍🏻👍🏻. Face masks are to be worn going into the restaurants, hand sanitizer to be used along with temp taken. Food great plenty of choice. I was disappointed with the food in the Turkish restaurant, fatty chicken for skewers which was a shame. We are having a fab time, and would definitely return!

This was a nice break with my wife and son.
I will start with all the good stuff.

The hotel is very clean and well kept, the cleaning staff in the rooms do a good job and you can ask for exactly how many beers and soft drinks you want for the mini bar.

They take Covid seriously as they enforce the use of gloves and masks as well as temperature taking prior to entry to the restaurants.

The food quality here is very good on the whole but the Turkish is poor and you will find better ones off the resort.

The Chinese and the Italian are both excellent, there are also a number of out door dinning choices.

We had a swim up room which was good as it was so hot you could keep dipping in and out if the pool.

Avoid the shops on site as there are stupidly expensive, bags, jewellery and cigarettes will cost you the Earth in here.

The spa is good and I recommend the Turkish bath with bubbles, give you a new layer of skin to start your tanning with.

Booking trips, don’t bother on the resort, just pop down to the town where the marina is and you will save 60%

The all inclusive here stops at midnight so you have to pay after this, it also does not offer branded drinks and when it claims to be 5 star SENSATORI it was disappointing.
They also charge you for room service which is a joke.

But all in all it was good but not 5 star more like a 4

We stayed at the Sensatori end of August/early September and were really impressed with everything about this hotel. Spotlessly clean everywhere with hand sanitisers all over the complex and staff constantly cleaning which made us feel very comfortable given the current situation. We mainly ate at the a la carte restaurants which were all very nice, especially the Sunset grill which on an evening you pay for. During the day we used the Sunset Grill which is part of the all inclusive (we like our routine😆) and have to give a special shout out to Basri Musacali who was our waiter every time who was so welcoming and friendly.
We only really ate in the main restaurant for breakfast but plenty of choice including omelettes made to order. Loads of choices for all tastes.
We hired a Cabana for the day which is great as you literally get waited on all day...drinks and food. Well worth paying for if you like a nice chill out day by the sea.
All in all would strongly recommend this hotel for couples of families as there is something for everyone.

This is the first time we have stayed at a Sensatori resort and it won’t be the last! My partner took me to this amazing hotel for my 50th birthday. Everything about it was wonderful. It is exceptionally clean, the staff work very hard to maintain the rooms, the grounds, the restaurants, especially during the Covid situation. There are hand sanitisers everywhere and masks and gloves provided for use around the hotel and in the buffet restaurant. We stayed in a beautiful sea view room with a huge bed which was really comfortable. The views of the mountains over the sea was incredible. We tried all the restaurants which were all brilliant. Our favourite was the Turkish one. We hired a cabana it’s 60 euros for the day from 9am til 6pm and well worth it, you get a cool box with ice and soft drinks and water, fresh fruit and biscuits and lunch. Our Cabana waiter was Sulyman, he was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, he worked so hard to make sure our day was special, my partner and Sulyman arranged to have the cabana decorated in balloons and banners on my birthday which was such a fantastic surprise and a birthday cake 🎂 , (our room was also decorated with balloons and a complimentary bottle of champagne). The whole week was amazing and thanks again to Sulyman who made our holiday.
