My husband and i together with our friend Colin stayed at the casa de maris in october. This was our 11th visit and Colins 3rd. We had booked to stay for 3 weeks, but unfortunately the day after we arrived Turkey was taken off the safe list so we only got to stay for ten days, and of course had to quarantine for 2 weeks when we got home . However we really enjoyed what little time we did have. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and warmly greeted by Kemel the night manager who very kindly had coffee sent up to our room. Our suitcases were sanitised on arrival, then the bellboy took them to our room and said "welcome home ". We love staying at this hotel and the main reason for so many return visits is the amazing staff members. They are a real credit to the hotel, they work so hard, always smiling and go above and beyond to make sure your holiday is one to remember. The hotel is always spotlessly clean and the food was really nice. The staff work so hard in the restaurant serving the food to everyone as due to covid restrictions you can no longer help yourself. We booked this holiday to celebrate my 60th birthday, planning to have a special party on the day, but as we had to leave early we were only able to have a small celebration a week early, and some friends who were due to share the day with us had their holidays cancelled so was a bit disapointing. The evening was still very nice, our table was decorated ready for the evening and a live band were playing outside by the pool . We had a photo shoot with Suat the hotel photographer and have some nice photos to keep as special memories of the day. Deniz also made us a lovely video so we were able to share it with our family when we got home . My husband bought me a gorgeous ruby gold ring from the hotel jewellery shop . Mustafa, as always had a stunning collection of jewellery and the prices are very reasonable, well worth a look if you are looking for something special. just goes to show what a lovely person mustafa is he brought me a lovely bouquet of flowers. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this hotel is perfect, it has its own private beach, lovely clean pool area, close to loads of shops and bars and brilliant staff . We have already booked for next year and fingers crossed things will be back to normal by then. Thankyou once again casa de maris for another enjoyable holiday, we love you all and cant wait to see you all again next year love from Tracey, Dave and Colin xxx

We are now into our second week at our favourite hotel. It is so lovely to be back here again after our April and June visits were cancelled. We were a little worried about travelling abroad during this uncertain time but so glad we decided to come. We felt quite safe on the flight here as everyone wore masks and the aircraft wasn’t full. On our arrival late at night we were warmly greeted by Kemil the night manager who had a coffee sent straight to our room. Most of our favourite staff members are still working here including Kerim, Sellahatin, Necati, mehmet and Lokman. These guys work so hard to make sure we have a lovely time. It took a bit of getting used to the new arrangements due to covid but everything is being done here to make sure that we all feel safe, all the staff wear masks, the hotel is constantly being cleaned and all guests have temperature checks everyday. There is still a buffet served at mealtimes but now the staff serve the food to you. Maris jewellery shop is open in the hotel and Mustafa has a stunning new collection of beautiful items. Mustafa is always very helpful and always gives value for money and also offers a free jewellery cleaning service. For lasting holiday memories it is well worth having a photo shoot with Suat the hotel photographer he is very professional and his photos are amazing. The weather is gorgeous here at the moment and we are so happy to be here relaxing in the sunshine after such worrying times at home . We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing break. We have already booked to return in October . Thank you again casa de maris for making our holiday so special. We love you all. From Tracey and Dave xxx

Just got back after a fantastic week. We picked this hotel as it is not as large as some of the other hotels in the area and the location. The hotel was very clean and we felt safe during our stay with plenty of measures against COVID. There were sanitiser dispensers on every floor and temperature checks every time you enter the hotel or go to the restaurant. Food and service were very good with plenty on offer but you need to learn to be able to identify the meal by sight as no longer self service - watch the portions if like us you do not eat a lot.
Layout of hotel room was strange but if you can get a sea view <we had one on the 5th floor> it is definitely worth it as we had sunshine nearly all day on balcony and good views.
All staff were ready to help as long as you can explain yourself properly as some do not speak English but gestures, thank yous and smiles make the difference.
Big shout out to two waiters - Kerim and Selahattin - who could not do enough for us at any time they were on shift. They always went the extra mile to make sure we did not want for any food or drink. We would definitely stay here again.
Turkey is safe and they take the virus and safety seriously. Well worth the visit but take plenty of face covering as they are needed in all shops, restaurants, on the beach. This hotel even provides one if you need one.

We've just come back after spending 12 nights at this hotel and just to reiterate what the other reviewers have said the staff are absolutely brilliant. I can honestly say it's the best experience we've had where staff are concerned. It's not fair to name names because they all work so hard to please the guests and I think the boys that work on the beach deserve credit aswell. Nothing is too much trouble and they always ask if you need anything when passing. The rooms are standard and spotless with a mini bar (you have to pay for contents except water) there is a safe and large wardrobe. There is Air con which is a godsend also a wall mounted tv. The restaurant food is typically all inclusive and the staff are working really hard to put the food out under the current circumstances. It is easier if you sit at the same table or area as the waiters get to know what drinks you like and they're brought to your table without even asking! The pool is ok but get your towels out early because people get up stupidly early to reserve their beds lol. We mostly went to the beach after breakfast which was only a short walk. There are plenty of beds and a jetty to get your tan. There's a small hut serving drinks but the boys are always walking around setting up beds etc and always ask if you want a drink when passing. We've made some good friends here and will definitely be back just on the strength of how good the staff are.

this was our third visit to Casa de Maris which is a lovely hotel with both pool and beach areas. The rooms are spacious and modern and very clean. You can have clean fresh towels every day and for a small deposit you can also get beach towels which you can change every day. There is a good choice of food in the restaurant and friendly efficient waiters bring the drinks to your table both during your meal and later during the evening entertainment. This year there were jugglers, fire eaters, bingo and live bands. During the day you can relax by the pool or sea and both areas have bars with a good selection of soft drinks, beer and a fridge full of water so that you can stay hydrated. By the pool the friendly animation team, Lina and Ozy, offered daily darts and water gym sessions and made everyone feel welcome and included. Downstairs there is a spa centre where you can have a turkish bath or a massage. A wonderful lady really helped with my neck problem last year and this year they worked on a problem with my ankle and have worked wonders in helping me walk more easily. Marmaris also has a very flat walkway along the seashore which is great for getting into town to see the beautiful dancing fountain show that begins at 9pm every evening. it takes about an hours stroll to get there and the show lasts 30 to 40 minutes and this walkway passes directly in front of the hotel. There is also a taxi rank outside the hotel and a local bus stop. In short this hotel has everything we need in a holiday and I am sure that we will be returning in future. We loved it.

We came to Casa De Maris during August while the lockdown rules were in full swing. The staff all followed the rules perfectly and there was never an issue. The hotel as a whole is extremely clean and well looked after. Staff wise, from receptionists to waiters to spa staff and cleaners were all extremely welcoming and friendly. They are always smiling and have an impeccable service. Entertainment team made up of only Ozzy and Lina were constantly positive and made an amazing team when it came to entertaining and making sure hotel morale was high despite the fact there were only two of them. Bar staff including Can, Adem and Mehmet served us throughout the whole stay with fast drinks, smiles and humour. Especially for our experience, Selehattin had served us from the very start to the end, he always presented himself as extremely vibrant and even when we bumped into him outside of the hotel, kept that same positivity. The hotel itself is situated on the edge of Marmaris, and is a cheap 10 minute bus / taxi ride into the centre. The beach is extremely well kept with no litter, the surrounding water filled with schools of colourful fish, and the occasional few turtles. Rooms were well lit and extremely clean, the cleaning staff did an amazing job of keeping room essentials plenty, and keeping the rooms all round spotless. This hotel was an amazing experience to stay in and held a joyful and welcoming atmosphere even in these times.

This was our first visit to Turkey and I seriously do not know why it took us so long to come here.
We had originally booked to stay in a hotel in Olu Deniz but changed to Marmaris due to the numerous poor reviews for the hotel we were booked into.

Casa de Maris is a lovely hotel very close to the beach where they have their own private section for guests.
The staff are absolutely wonderful, they are so welcoming and nothing was ever a problem.
For example, we had booked a double side sea view room but you could hardly see the sea. We spoke with reception and they moved us the very next day to another room with a better side sea view.
The food in the restaurant is ok, the staff are so warm and welcoming. Due to the current situation they service you the food which was fine.

There is am onsite jewellery shop 'Maris Jewellery' They have a really good selection of jewellery and watches.
Mustafa is really good and so knowledgeable.
One of the diamonds was missing out of my wedding ring, Mustafa was able to replace it as well as clean both my rings, they look like new!! There was another diamond that was chipped in my ring, Mustafa took the liberty of fixing it and still charged me the original price quoted. I had my rings back in the space of a 1.5 days.
There is entertainment every night, the animation team work really hard to keep guests entertained.

I am so happy with the hotel and staff that we have booked to come back in October.
I would like to give a special shout out to Özenç, Mustafa (front reception) , Habip, Cemere, the porters, bar staff and staff in the restaurant.
The cleaning staff regularky cleaned the room and if you needed extra supplies they were happy to help.

They worked tirelessly to ensure that we had a good holiday.
We were so happy that we have changed our hotel to return here in October.

We were moved to this hotel by Jet2 as ours was still closed bit were determined to make the most of being able to get away, the hotel is located just outside marmaris so bus or taxi was needed each time we went out.

Side sea view rooms in this hotel are a bad representation we paid extra for one but needed up over looking a wasteland over ru n with noisy chickens when we complained we offered one kn the over side over looking the busy main road tou had to lean right over the balcony to see the sea so was hot safe.

Our cleaner was not very good on 3 occasions we had to ask reception for toilet rolls and on one occasion for towels as none had been left and our room wasnt cleaned until. Between 4.30 and 5.30pm every day which is when we wanted to have a nap or shower ready to go out.

The pool is lovely has a little ledge so non swimmers can actually still sit in the poo. With loungers in the pool lovely touch, the waiters and bar staff are amazing really helpful .

Food hard to comment on due to current situation but needs larger labels so you an see what is being offered and better system as people often push in with little social distancing.

I personally would not stay here again due to location but of you want a quieter holiday would certainly recommend.

This is our first time in Turkey and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! We are a family of 7 with kids ages ranging from 9 up to 18. All the staff are welcoming and treat you like family. From day one they remembered our names and made sure we had a great time!
It’s a five minute walk to a great selection of shops, restaurants and bars and right on the beach. The pier that belongs to the hotel is stunning, it is lit up at night and the sun beds are very luxurious. Everywhere takes English pound, euros and cards so don’t waste your time buying Lira.
We were a little apprehensive travelling due to the current situation however the hotel is taking it very seriously, temperature checks each time you enter the hotel, all staff without exception wear masks, the only downside is the all inclusive is roped off and you need to ask for your food. This isn’t really a negative as there’s not much else the hotel could do, it’s just making the best of a bad situation at the moment and hopefully only temporary!
The weather was superb, never dropping below 30 degrees so the sun beds in the pool are amazing for cooling off.
A special mention to Musait who has the jewellery shop in the hotel, he’s so helpful and not at all pushy. We had our rings cleaned and polished while we were there, it only took 2 days, and they look absolutely stunning! I can’t believe how the diamonds sparkle, he’s done a superb job much cheaper than it would have been at home.
We also decided on a photo shoot at the beach, provided by the amazing photographers at the hotel, the photos are great quality, we chose an album of 30 prints and everyone has commented on how professional they are, it’s a lovely keep sake of our time there.
I would also like to mention Lina and Ozzy who work tirelessly all day, especially in the heat, to keep everyone entertained!! Both always have a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble! Can’t wait to see you all again!! Thank you for a perfect holiday x

Normally only write a review if somewhere is outstanding or very disappointing and sad to say this place is a major disappointment. Changed hotels from one hotel to this one as it has better reviews but I wish I’d stay to the old hotel. I’ve visited many 5* hotels and this hotel does not near compare and lucky to be 3*.

Arrived here early hours and our room was facing the main roads and had an awful eye sore view of barren grass with noisy chickens and a barking dog that kept us awake. I emailed the hotel about requesting to be moved to a sea view room but this was ignored and received no reply. That night we also had to call reception as our air con did not work, had to call reception 3 times more that holiday as it was hit and miss. Room comes with mini bar, safe and tv but to use all they charge.

WiFi around hotel and in the rooms is terrible, couldn’t keep a connection so I had to use £20 worth of mobile data to stay connected back home and work.

Staff spoke bare minimum to no English so did not have a clue what you were saying, then got aggressive when they didn’t understand, especially boy serving salad with glasses in the restaurant, never met such a rude individual. All food serving staff are rude and don’t even know what the food is apart from the one lady who spoke some English she was amazing. Waiting staff are friendly And bell boy mehmet was very helpful but all other staff, restaurant, and reception staff were rude

Food choices very minimum, you can’t actually see the food from behind screens, staff barely knew what it was, labelling in English was very poor to understand and was also labelled wrong most days. Soups, salad, bread rolls, chips and some different meats in sauces so wasn’t much variety. Very hit and miss. Soft drinks were just soda stream put into bottles labelled as Pepsi etc not actual pepsi

Not much in the way of entertainment we went out most nights, and days were boring. Pool was quiet which was nice to swim in but limited sunbeds so hard to get a bed. Beach if you could call it that is a small strip and stoney sand with sunbeds squashed on and a small pier.

Maids in room touched our things and moved things around and mixed up my fathers medication which I’m not happy about.

Temp checks every time you enter hotel which is understandable but yet staff told us to just take off masks which I didn’t understand during this pandemic

All in all major disappointment, won’t be returning, definitely not 5*
