Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Have stayed at the Aegean Princess about four times and we just keep coming back. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Especially Murat, Onder, Cobra and everyone else (including the lady who made sure our room was kept clean) went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is very clean. Food is wonderful. Indoor and outdoor dining. Beautiful clean pool and area. Relaxing peaceful atmosphere. Staying at the Aegean is an amazing experience.. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked this place based on previous reviews which were 5 stars, how misleading. Arrival was terrible, just trying to sell you the add on’s. When you don’t get them they don’t speak to you. Bar prices in apartments are so expensive, so avoid staying around the pool. Go to the beach and you can get a sun bed for less if you buy one drink. Rooms are basic, avoid top floor as roof slopes. Other than that didn’t really use the room, just to sleep in. Cleaning of room was very good but that’s the only positive of this place. Don’t know what has happened to this place, since lots of great reviews but clearly major issues now that there have been a few negative reviews coming through. Don’t buy safe, air con, tv , Wi-Fi as you don’t need them. Go to a local bar for free Wi-Fi or down stairs in bar area. Overall POOR !

We stayed her for 2 weeks and it was the worst experience ever. My daughter got an infection in her ear which was bleeding and when we got her home it was actually feaces in her ear!. The mattress was stained and had blood on it and when we complained they went to my parents room and took the bed out of there! Once we complained, not 1 member of staff spoke to us and would help us. The food was cold and there was a black banana in the fridge.. we saw staff washing their hands in the pool after they had put the rubbish in the bins.. degraceful hotel.

Basic self catering apartments. We didn't pay much to stay here, the rooms were fine, nothing fancy but clean and spacious. The air con is £35 for the week, there is only 1 unit in the bedroom and does not filter through the rest of the apartment. We left the bedroom door open so it would go through to main living area through the night but it wasn't suffice so the 2 beds located in the living area was like a sweat box at night! Ideally another air con unit needs to be in the main living area. The pool area is nice, its a small pool and the baby pool is probably no bigger than a pond in a garden, don't think these apartments are very child friendly for younger children as there isn't much room. The pool bar is quite expensive compared to other local bars and restaurants. 115 TL for and Efes, we paid 48TL in another place for Efes which is a big difference. The food is very average we only ate once. My sister ordered a wrap which was laden with grease all pooled on her plate. When she mentioned this she wasn't offered anything else or a refund she was just told by the bar staff, well if you don't pay for it then I will have to! She mentioned it to the rep and finally got her money back which was only about a fiver, it wasn't about the money it was just how it was dealt with. Its not a bad place and we still had a good time for what we paid but its also not somewhere I would go back to mainly due to the pool bar prices and food quality.

Another absolutely fabulous 2 weeks spent at the Aegean Princess, we love it here, fabulous place, so friendly. All staff are wonderful, cannot do enough for you. Yusuf, Murat, Cobra, Onder and team along with all cleaning staff brilliant. We couldn't ask for more, rooms are comfortable, everything you need for self catering, aircon is freezing, bedding and towels changed regularly and rooms cleaned daily. Food good and a good variety. We feel like family from the moment we arrive and it's like home from home. Sad to leave again, had so many laughs, met some great people and had fun in the pool. Fabulous, cannot wait to go back, thank you all ❤ x

A fantastic holiday at the Aegean Princess. The hotel is in an excellent location and close to restaurants, bars and not far to the marina. The staff at the hotel were amazing, they put themselves out and made us feel very welcome, nothing was a bother to them. All staff were friendly and helpful but Murat and Resal were amazing, The rooms were basic but very comfortable, The cleaners did an amazing job too and were so cheerful. We would definitely return to this hotel, it was a great holiday and couldn’t fault the hotel at all. A brilliant 12 days stay here, can’t wait to return.

Great hotel and great location for the money we paid, we stayed here for 9 nights in room 307, overlooking the main entrance. The rooms are cleaned to a really high standard and the housekeeper was very friendly and pleasant. Our room was well maintained and had everything we needed. The beds are firm but we preferred that. I found them really comfy. Air is just in the bedroom but we just kept the curtains closed in the day and kept the bedroom door open at night to allow it to circulate the cool air and our daughter slept fine in the lounge side. We ate and drank at the bar in the day, it is more expensive than some of the local bars but I suppose you pay for the convenience. The food was fresh and well cooked and on our first night they made us food quite late when we returned back to the hotel, which I thought was really good of them. We didn’t notice any issues with people being treated differently, even when not eating or drinking at the hotel. It was really busy but we never had an issue with getting a sun bed, the pool is quite small but it’s adequate to swim in and cool off. The location is excellent, follow the storm drains to the beach and bizarre, we found this the quickest route. We preferred to stay near to the hotel at night rather than walking to the front. We found the Mahal restaurant and Dr Jacks bar, which are just across the road less hassle than the other bars with better food and more reasonable prices but we had some really good nights in the other bars too. The staff are helpful and we never had any problems with the hotel or the service. The staff have to deal with a lot of unreasonable demands from some of the guests and I did encounter a rather rude family/group being very difficult and the staff actually dealt with them better than I would have and made every attempt to appease them. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s clean, well maintained and excellent value for money in a great location.
