I've just arrived home from my 2nd stay at this hotel. I loved the entertainment at night, especially the pool party and the Turkish night. Everyone had so much fun and even more when they won the bingo. Junior was a good entertainer and every one loved him as nothing was a problem to him, he helped in anyway he cud. Junior also has good knowledge off the local area so gave me great advice. The pool areas where clean and tidy and the staff where constanly cleaning the 2 pool areas but I was mainly at the baby pool as it was a little bit quieter and had no problems at all with it. Ordered drink and food at the bar and they brought it down to me at my sun bed or junior was walking around asking guests wud they like anything to save them from moving. My room was good and i had no problems with it, cleaners where in everyday with clean towels and they changed bedding every few days, also gave us a fan for the living area as it was hot. Food was really lovely I ate in the hotel for breakfast every day and 90% of my dinners at night and there where no set times for dinner, the flexi deal is a good option. Sanitiser on tables and throughout the hotel, temps taken on a regular basis. Staff where always on hand to help out and willing to help the best they could with any situation. I liked the way the kids cud play about and be silly and staff weren't strict with them and staff kept them entertained as well especially junior on stage dancing with them and putting songs on for the little ones.

Just arrived home from our 4th stay at this hotel. There are plenty off covid measures in place to keep guests n staff safe, social distancing stickers about the hotel, sanitiser stations, sanitisers on tables as well, temp is taken and recorded, mask bins arw placed about the hotel, so no need to worry in this hotel as they have taken all the precautions. Our room was on the 4th floor which was quite warm day n night but we got a fan for the living area as kids where in the bedroom with the aircon. Rooms are very spacious and cudnt fault it. Towels changed everyday and bedding every few days not that we used much bedding as it was too hot lol, cleaners do an amazing job making sure everything is clean and keep there distance in rooms n wear there masks also . We paid for the flexi meal deal as it was a better option with having the kids and the food was superb as usual, not one complaint and no set times for dinner either, eat when your ready, kids loved the pizza.7 If you arrive early hours if chef is still around he'll cook you some food, if not junior or any staff will order you in what you wud like to eat, its not a problem. Restaurant was clean and tidy, soon as a table left the staff was out cleaning and sanitising it ready for the next person. With me having two kids we spent most off our days at the baby pool and the kids loved it and it was a little more quieter than the bigger pool. Staff where constantly going round lifting glasses and food dishes from around the pools. Also junior would have walked round making sure everyone was OK and if they needed anything so no need to leave your sunbeds. Sunbeds are spaces out for social distancing. Staff wore masks as well throughout there shifts. My girls loved the entertainment nights and junior was up dancing with the little ones keeping them entertained. Junior has good knowledge off the local area so he's a good help if you need to know anything. Hotel is in a great location and it's quite around the hotel. All the staff are very friendly and my kids got on with them all but junior was the little ones favourite. Can't wait to return in 4 weeks for my 5th time, so that says it all really.

Stayed at this hotel for the second time, the room we were given was small but Yenal rectified this as soon as a larger room was available. The hotel itself was spotless, food for breakfast all freshly cooked by the Grazy chef, brilliant snack food available all day and really cheap,we were half board and 2nd week the manager introduced an upgrade we could have a full english breakfast and beautifully cooked fillet steak every night if you wanted at no extra cost.
The staff (Coco,Junior,Charlotte,Michealand all the cleaning staff were friendly, hard working and a joy to get to know, I will definitely go back for a 3rd time hopefully in May,Thankyou so much for a really enjoyable stay.

Glad to be able to return again after lockdown. It was very quiet due to tourists being a bit cautious with covid.
When we arrived the staff looked after us again superb brake, as the day's went on more guests were turning up. So you get to meet more people, never a dull moment. Everyone got on with a relaxing holiday, every time a table was used then cleared one of the staff would clean up spray the table and wipe clean. The restaurant was waiter service only which worked very well, as there was nobody getting in each other's way with self service. The bar and restaurant was checked regularly for hygiene by the government, also staff they worked very hard due to staff reductions with not being many guests there. Could not fault anyone from manager yenal, coco, junior, plus cleaner who worked very hard. Such a friendly hotel. Back again this year already booked for next year, which will make it 29 yes in this hotel. The family rooms are even better now that a complete shower as been installed. Keep it up lads RAMBO

Honest review.
If you are a couple this is the hotel for you.

We have visited this hotel twice now. First time as a couple second time with a baby.

Such a clean and friendly hotel
Food is a 4/5 depending on the chef as there is two chefs.
The house keepers are lovely always made a fuss of us and our baby boy

Would visit again
Worth the money

We stayed for 11 nights and we had a great time.
Coco, junior, Justin, yenal and the chef ( and his son ) and the cleaners worked so hard to make we had a great time.
Hotel was clean. Regular temperature checks and hand washing stands available.
Towels changed daily and room was cleaned daily.
You do have to pay for internet in your rooms £5 per week per device, A/C and TV but to be fair for how much we paid for the holiday we didn’t mind!
I’d rather the option so we can keep the overall price down!
Food was good great choices and you have an option to do a package which we thought was good value!
There are also lots of places nearby to eat as well.
We had a family room which meant the living room had 3 beds in and we didn’t think until the last few days that we could of put up the sofas for more space! We wasn’t in the room to much so didn’t really bother us too much!
My only constructive criticism would be more lighting in the bathroom we spoke to yenal before we left and he said that’s in the to do list yenal really listened to us and I feel if you have any issues speak to staff as they are really helpful.
Again this didn’t ruin our holiday just a little thing to improve on.
The entertainment was good fun for all.
Use the guy for excursions he was very helpful! We did the jeep safari- boat trip-go karts-water park and Turkish baths with him and no problems all trips amazing and great value. Picked up and dropped off as stated!
Be aware of the little add ons so take some cash with you for photos drinks etc not expensive but it all adds up!

Any local info junior is really helpful.

Good to tip staff they work long hours in the heat and nothing is too much for them so I feel tips are much appreciated.
Don’t forget the amazing cleaning staff.

Good location 5 mins to the supermarket and
The hotel is away from the main road but close enough to walk to the beach and main road.

Thank you team for all your hard work we will be 100% coming back!

Take care The Orpwood Family

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel self catering, when I arrived the staff made us all feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for us.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the air con was cheap for 2 weeks for the bedroom as it kept the room cool. The balcony is spacious, we had 3 chairs and a table but needed an extra chair and when asked within a couple of minutes they brought me one up.

The location of the hotel itself was about 10 minutes from the beach depending on how fast you walk. The market shop situated round the corner is good but just be careful as he overcharged me but a member of staff was able to get me my money back.

The food was reasonably priced , I did upgrade to the flexi menu which I found to have a great choice of food and worked out cheaper for me and my family.

The pool area was always kept clean, plenty of sun beds every day and some days my sons had the pool to themselves.

Amazing staff and they was willing to go above and beyond to help. I have very fussy children and everytime I ordered food they made sure that it was correct and if any problems I had to let them know.

Entertainment wasn’t on every night however when it was it was worth it, they also did two steak nights followed by staff dances, bingo and karaoke.

We will be returning to this hotel in the near future. Keep up the good work!

Just home after staying at this hotel for 7nights. When we first arrived we were told it was £35 for aircon for a week which was fine ,The Wi-Fi was poor and only
Worked in certain areas around the hotel. It worked on my balcony but not in my room at all. We were charged £10 EACH device for this. Which isn’t great especially for Wi-Fi that doesn’t work well. The rooms were basic and sheets and pillows had marks on them, but they were changed once when we were there although bed was made everyday . Aircon was good but was only in the bedroom which wasn’t ideal if you wanted to sit in the lounge. The food was good and drinks were fine. Entertainment at the hotel wasn’t great they’re would be performers now and again but the performance would only last around 5 mins max. Staff would advertise entertainement such as karaoke and bingo to get you to stay at the hotel for the night but would never follow it through. Staff show also didn’t happen, which is ashame as it looks like from previous reviews staff were a lot more involved. A lot of other guests would go out at night elsewhere due to this. There is no entertainment or anything during the day at the pool you are just left to get on with it which isn’t great and pool can only keep you occupied for so long. Overall it came across the hotel was only interested in keeping you in the premises to make money from you buying food/drinks. When leaving we were told check out was 12 which was fine. We were told that if we wanted to keep the room until 4pm we would be £20. The hotel does have showers you can use to freshen up but they didnt allow us to. We chose not to pay the £20 as we had already gave this hotel enough money. Overall location is good, rooms are basic, staff involvement is poor and personally I wouldn’t come to this hotel again which is ashame as it has a lot of potential. :(

This hotel is clean, comfortable and in a semi residential area making it fairly quiet. If you have a room around the front then you will hardly hear the entertainment and hotel noise from the rear of the property which tends to quieten down by midnight. The hotel is relatively small in hotel terms so although all the sun loungers get used up there should be enough for everyone if they stop people squatting their towels on them.
The pool is 1.5 m deep all over and very warm at its busiest we still had space to wallow. It's great for the youngsters even though there is a kids pool opposite
The facilities are basic but in my view you only need a comfortable place to sleep if you're on holiday you shouldn't be kicking around in the bedrooms too long there's far too much to be getting on with.
My personal gripe would be the extras like the Aircon WiFi and TV channels. The Aircon is a must it was 38 every day we stayed and after day 2 I paid the extra. By day 3 I requested the WiFi be turned off in our room as I didn't see my son until lunchtime.
The food is very good and a large variety to suit most states. The burger and chip brigade should be happy with all the rubbish you can find at home plus those that need a full English breakfast. The menu tries to accommodate as many people's international Tastes as possible with English taking priority over English/Italian and Turkish.
Price wise everything was just very slightly cheaper than the UK as the whole area is a tourist money making machine for the duration of the holiday season.
By far the greatest asset to the hotel were the staff who were just brilliant in everyway. Nothing was too much bother they all looked happy and looked like they were having a good time as well. If English staff were this good they would be worth a fortune they really make the holiday.

Blue Palace Marmaris Hotel

Marmaris

Moved after 1st week

839819309

Booked for 2 weeks only stayed for 1 week.
Reading the reviews on here I dread to think what type of pig stys the people live in rooms are not cleaned every day just some of your belongings may be tidied and as for trying to get clean towels every day meant an argument with reception, was even told not to put dirty towels on the floor which we did so the maid knew which ones needed changing but she had other ideas and would pick up the dirty wet towels and hang them to dry over the sofas.

Limited number of sunbeds around pool so get up early or no bed also glasses used around pool instead of plastic ones which would be a lot safer as always hearing someone breaking one.

Food and drink more expensive than buying out quick example a small bottle of water from a shop cost 2.5 lira from the hotel next door cost 5 lira which is fine would expect to pay a bit more in hotel but blue palace charging 25 lira is a rip off, very limited menu not a lot of choice and very expensive if having a meal plan also.

So after suffering a week at blue palace a quick look on the Internet we found a 5 star all inclusive hotel on the seafront that for 3 adults cost 620 pounds which was cheaper than a weekly meal plan would of cost the 3 of us and what with not having to buy drinks pay for a safe in the room or extra for aircon and a TV in the room we saved a small fortune by upgrading to the luxury of the green nature diamond resort. Which also included excellent day and evening entertainment
