I’m just back last night from a weeks stay at the melodi.. I arrived on the first night and the staff were waiting to greet me and help me with my bags they took me to my room on the 5th which if you love a sea view is stunning but I’m afraid of heights! Mentioned this when I went to the pool bar for a night cap and they immediately switched me to a lower floor. Staff can’t do enough!

The hotel is very basic your room only consists of beds and a dresser however the maid is in every day with fresh bedding and towels and for me in marmaris this is all I need!

You don’t get much better on location the hotel is located directly behind Atlantis so marmaris is on your doorstep.

Now to the staff well what can i say every member of staff in the hotel are a credit to bash (owner) being a solo traveller I was a bit dubious from Danny the manager to Tony the bar staff each one of them made me feel like I’d been going there forever! Not to forget floki the hotels puppy who just is adorable.

The melodi hotel is a home away from home and you leave with friends for life can’t wait to get back!

The Melodi Hotel is excellent value for money. Clean and tidy rather than luxury but the staff are amazing. There's nothing they wouldn't do for you. This is our third visit and I had a number of meals made by their chef - the quality of the food was really good and we ate there four times during our six night stay. We also like the location which is literally two minutes from the sea front and also close to all of the main shops and amenities. We love our visits here and have met people who were there when we last visited, who come two or three times a year. Would recommend if your looking for a cost effective holiday - you can't go wrong.

What a little gem of a hotel. We arrived very early hours of the morning due to delays and were greeted with a wonderful welcome by Danny the manager. It is so friendly all the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you, even Basar the owner. The hotel is very clean and in a prime location central to everywhere you may want to visit. There are bits that aren’t perfect and need some modernisation but none of that bothers you when there, they are updating. The breakfast is mainly a Turkish breakfast and sets you up for the day but you can get a lovely breakfast for extra cost. We spent lots of evenings staying in the bar as the atmosphere was electric with lots of people returning time and time again, we’ve already booked to return September.

This is a lovely, Small & friendly hotel. All of the Staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great holiday.. The hotel is in a great location, 300m from the beach , and surrounded by , shops, bars & restaurants.. A well stocked bar( and probably the cheapest) , no rush for sun beds in the morning, and the chef can rustle up a good English breakfast (payable) if you choose not to eat the Turkish one provided.. Most rooms have a sea view , daily changed towels and clean bedding, and although the hotel has no fridge, tv or kettle in the room.. it does have aircon, safeboxes , iron & hairdryers on request.. There’s a great little shop 100m away, that sells literally everything, and a lovely Turkish bath across the way.. All in all , this hotel provides great value for money for accommodation and location..BUT (and this is a good but) money could not buy the support and hospitality provided by the owner Savas Basar Yucel & family , and his amazing staff.. If you don’t travel to spend your hotel in a luxury hotel room, then this hotel is for you.

Hated staying here it’s awful never wanted to come home so much from a holiday. Don’t run a bill up as they add drinks on during the night and depending who’s taking your order over charge you in the same day I was charged 150 lira for 2 sausages then 250 lira for 2 sausages on there own. One staff tried to sort it for me but purposely left it right to the time I was getting on my transfer home so nothing was done. I had aircon for one night and they tried to charge me 10 nights even tho I handed the remote in Danny said doesn’t matter it’s still on at the wall ( in office) I said that’s not my problem it’s your job to switch it off and it does t work without a remote anyway. Breakfast was a joke cucumber, boiled egg, olives, cheese no water or juice only coffee so my kid never had breakfast at all. No money is spent on that place it’s falling apart. I was half bored so on my first day could choose off the menue (certain things) then the next day they told me what I was having and it was chicken every night luckily the food was nice on a evening. I found Danny to be rude and lazy all they do is sit on there phones adding extra stuff on ppls bills especially ones who are drinking

It was my first time visiting Turkey and I will be definitely coming back next year. The hotel was pleasant enough and cleaned every day with fresh towels. The maid was an absolute diamond and hotel staff Danny was some laugh lol he made my stay welcome and the filled with memories. The hotel pool is gorgeous and cleaned every night. The location of the hotel is perfect and walking distance to the beach is less than 3 mins away. I'll be coming back to the hotel next year 💯.

Stayed here for 10 days with a friend. Had a warm welcome on arrival. Safe deposit box is in reception, would have preferred it in room but despite my initial reservations this worked fine.

The room was adequate, bed and bedding functional but tired. The air con was very effective, cost is £49 per week. The bathroom was very tired and in need of maintenance. It looked grubby as if it hadn't been maintained for quite some time. Bear in mind that my stay was at the end of the season so maintenance may be carried out over winter.

Public areas around the hotel were dated but functional. I didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment. The pool looked clean and not Crowded.

The staff at the hotel were very pleasant, the cleaning staff did the room most days except Sunday I think.

The balcony was fine and looked out over the water park to the sea.

The hotel is located very close to the sea within walking distance of hundreds of restaurants and shops. The main harbor and the bazaar can be easily walked to in about 20-30 minutes maybe quicker but it's a pleasant walk with lots to see.

Lastly it can't be understated how beautiful this area of turkey is, particularly if you like the water there is lots to do and the very cheap water taxis give a fantastic boat ride.

So in conclusion if you like a luxury 5 star hotel then this might not suit you. If you treat the hotel on holiday as a bedroom and have suitable expectations from cheap and cheerful accommodation then this hotel is perfectly adequate and you'll likely enjoy your stay.

If you like to socialise with the staff and spend a lot of time in the hotel bar then I'm sure you'll have a great time as they seemed to be available and friendly all the time.

I had a great holiday overall and thoroughly recommend marmaris as a lively destination.

I stayed at the Melodi in August with family and friends for 10 days.
It was my first stay here and the holiday was nothing but amazing. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and will go above and beyond to do anything for you.
The hotel is in an ideal location, a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the Main Street of shops and bars.
As it’s a small hotel, we were lucky enough to have a good mix of other guests and we all socialised after a night out and I’ve made some friends for life.
I can’t wait to book again for next year, would highly recommend!

The rooms are a good size with a great view and have been updated over winter. thank you to each and every single one of use for making our holiday the best. The food is the best so nice but eat here more less every night.

Have stayed at Melodi many times and it doesn't disappoint. Friendly owner and staff. They treat you like family. They will meet any needs you may have. Cemal the chef cooks food perfectly and theres a good choice on the menu. Location is fab, close to beach, bars snd shops. Has been refurbished in last few years. Got a great bar that is well stocked with proper alcohol, great strong cocktails. The iced coffee is very tasty and was popular with my friends and I. The pool is an added bonus as not a lot of hotels near beach have a pool that size. It doesnt have a shallow end and just a ladder to get in and out of. There is no hassle from staff if you go out in the evening to drink in other venues. Hotel bar is open most of the night but its never very noisy. I will definitely be back soon.

Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Make sure you don't get a room on the first floor. Better still go somewhere else, it's a health hazard . Manager has even told the travel company that my photos were not taken at his hotel. Thankfully metadata on the photos shows the exact location .worst place in Marmaris and I have stayed in well over 50 hotels.
