Hotel is ideally located, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to local bus and taxi services. Restaurants, bars and shops minutes away. The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable seating in main reception area, rooms lovely and modern with flat screen TVs. The food menu is varied, plenty to choose from. Desserts are homemade and you really are spoilt for choice. The pool is a good size with depth sizes, there is plenty of sunbeds, so no need to get up at 7am and put your towel down. The staff are always attentive and serve you with a smile on their faces.

Room was basic but clean and cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels every other day. Staff mainly friendly but some downright miserable. Food is terrible and repetitive and cold no matter what time you go to eat. Drinks are in very small glasses and not filled, not worth going all inclusive at all. Wouldn't go back there.

Stayed here from 21,09,23. Well what can I say? Stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed my time at this hotel, food was great and different everyday, bar staff were very friendly as we're the restaurant staff, the guy on reception during they day was lovely and very friendly, compared to the night time guy, he was arrogant and very unfriendly, he phoned my room one evening and told me to stop talking on my fone when I was on the balcony, which I said im on my holiday not in a prison camp, then I brought a friend of mine back to my hotel for drinks and to get ready for a night out, the night guy grabbed my friend to throw him out then charged me £40 for a night to have him stay which my friend was only here for 30 mins while I got ready. That arrogant man should be sacked big time!! As for the rest of the staff they were brilliant and I would definitely stay again.

Right I don't know where to start I booked this hotel blindly I guess the pics looked good and we needed somewhere quick as we had changed hotel twice already. We arrived early hours sat morning and was told by the men on reception that we didn't have a reservation so after a half hour wait finally we were allowed to check in by this time it was near on 3 in the morning and I just wanted to sleep. The next morning we woke up to banging and shouting about 9am the room we we re in was OK nothing special it was tidy but not clean at all the balcony was tiny overlooking an empty hotel and there were only 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe and one drawer we had a fridge that wasn't working but they did swap this a couple of days later and also we only had one curtain wich again was dealt with within a couple of days the rooms are very basic with one British TV channel the cleaners however come in every day and make sure you have your essentials so hats off to them the food well we ate here prob twice in the 14 days we were there as the food was terrible the toaster broke on the morning we arrived and they stilk hadn't fixed it by the time we left so breakfast was cold beans and some other slop lunch was leftover dinner from the night before but turned into something else all served with pasta and salad wich seemed to be served every night and day this hotel is full of Russians and I think they basically cater for them we were the only English in the hotel. The best thing I can say about this hotel is its staff( well some of them) the bar staff the waiting staff they were all pleasant and friendly and had a laugh a shout out to ossman I think that's his name he is a legend and made our stay a bit more pleasant the pool is good to we spent a lot of time in there however it is deep at just over 6 foot deep but I managed fine lovely and cool there aren't really enough sun beds for the amount of people so you have to be up early and have your towel on them before the Russians get there the location is brilliant as the beach is very close and your practically in the centre of everything but my overall advice is if you are English do not stay at this hotel I will definitely not be going back

I have just returned from a week away in fabulous Marmaris. The hotel was a huge disappointment. We arrived at 10.30pm. All facilities were closed. The room looked bleak with a large tear in the net curtain and dabs of paint on the wall where they had touched up marks. The staff and most of the other guests seemed like they could not crack a smile if they were paid. The food did not cater to British tastes and was the same every day. The food was catered for Muslims/Turkish. When we checked out at 12 noon our wrist bands were cut off and told that we could not use the all inclusive any more so we only had 6 days use out of that - no great loss as we were eating out mostly anyway. Lager was poured into very small glasses - other choices were cheap spirits and soft drinks. No cocktails as we have had at other venues. So many other hotels in Marmaris - Choose another and not Sonnen!

We visited the sonnen in July this year, read some good reviews on it but unfortunately they weren’t accurate, location of the hotel and view from the room are the only plus points. hotel staff weren’t helpful or welcoming , the food on the first Two days was ok nothing great but edible, the only bar was a pool bar which opens at 10am and closes at 10pm . All drinks served in mouth wash style plastic cups. No kettle in the rooms, bed Linden not changed for the hole week and had the same cigarette burns in them , clean towels every day though. Ended up eating out from Monday till Friday night , this is a 2 star hotel at the most. Would never return.

Absolutely shocking hotel, do not cater for the English at all. Chips and not nice tasting eggs for breakfast were the boy thing that look edible. The worse watered down lager I have ever had at any hotel in my life. The only other options at the bar were vodka or gin.

Rooms are ok but furniture looks like it’s 40 years ols

Do not know why Thomas Cook advertise this hotel at all, we were the only English guest

Actually had the most masking experience while staying here, staff were so friendly and understanding English wasn’t an issue. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The food was of a high standard and worth every penny spent. It’s just off the beachfront with lots to do around Marmaris. The pool gets the sun from first thing in the morning until around 7pm. The balcony’s are small but that is my only fault- rooms are big with amazing air con (the bit that matters) There is a McDonald’s, KFC and Burger King less than a 5 minute walk away. Only thing I regret is not booking a longer holiday and I would recommend anyone looking to to book here to do it and I will definitely be revisiting again.

Just don’t bother.

Food terrible.
Didn’t eat there once, just walked through walked out.
And I’m not fussy with food.
No entertainment at all.
No air con in reception.

Just been told can’t keep a room on for a late check out.

We don’t fly till late so won’t be leaving for airport till 1900 hours.

With 2 kids.

3 adults.

Drinks at the bar.

For the kids
Usual cola sprite Fanta.

Tried the beer
Watered down for sure.

Go elsewhere.

The hotel doesn’t put on entertainment, but there is plenty of bars nearby that do.

Yes they do, have you asked question on their page, emailed etc. Is it a specific question or one that someone who has stayed could answer?
