We stayed at the Karibu on our way in and out of Uganda over Easter, with our two small children. A lovely setting with lush gardens make you forget you are so close to the centre of Entebbe and the airport. We were made to feel really welcome on both occasions. The owners and their staff were very friendly and...

We cannot thank Kevin enough for planning a perfect itinerary to Uganda. From a prompt response to inquiries to a thoughtfully planned visit to the Nkuringo gorillas, our visit was stress free and just wonderful. Kevin and his family has made Entebbe their home for the past 10 years. The Karibu guest house is an oasis for bird watching with...

We went here because my boyfriend brought me here for making the proposal. They have organised a lot of things for us. They have been so kind, so professional, so available. I don't have words to explain! Special and perfect. The food was amazing. Delicious. The breakfast was incredible. They have also the swimming pool! I was so happy to...

I've stayed at Karibu many times and it never disappoints. The staff are always helpful and attentive. The guesthouse is tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The swimming pool makes for a relaxing afternoon and the food is better than anywhere I've stayed in Uganda. I will definitely be back again.

I arrived at the hotel a bit late in the evening, after a long trip from São Paulo (via Johannesburg and several hours at the airport there), and met up with a friend who had arrived earlier. I basically washed my hands and sat down for dinner -- and the food was probably the best we had in our two...

Lovely last day lodging. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The room is large. King sized bed w/netting, end tables, lamp, open closet, safe. Separate shower, toilet and sink. Quiet setting. Outdoor seating for eating. Good quality food. Wifi in room and on the premises. While they forgot the wake up call, it was no problem. Our 2:30am shuttle to...

After spending time in a rural village in Uganda, the Karibu Guest House was a beautiful reprieve and offered a chance to collect ourselves. The staff is exceptional and knows each guest by name; the rooms are marvelously lovely; the food is nourishing and gourmet; the grounds are thoughtfully maintained and welcoming. We especially appreciated the strong and fast internet,...

A lovely guest house and ideal for a relaxing night before or after a long flight or even just a relaxing short break. Stayed in one of the delightful cottages. Food excellent and staff efficient and friendly. Airport transfer a bonus.
