We visited The Boma Entebbe in November-December 2016. It is a beautiful colonial style hotel with attention to detail. It was great to have a lovely swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas for relaxation after being away on safari - heaven. The beds & pillows are really comfortable, with fresh white cotton bedding. Plenty of hot water for showering/bathing,...

Thought this was a lovely hotel. The room was perfect and had everything needed for a great nights sleep. More of a cottage really. Only slight downside was that the water was cool in the morning (solar heated) - early morning departure. The restaurant and bar were comfortable and friendly and the food was excellent (dinner) - no opportunity to...

Unfortunately can't give higher than 3 stars due to terrible Internet speeds and a problem we had with the water in the toilet. Rooms are clean and the grounds are very nice, dinner was also good with helpful staff.

back in Uganda and Rwanda on another safari and of course stayed at the Boma again. Everything that I loved about it is still there - excellent staff, comfortable rooms and great food. Plus, if anything, the gardens have now got better and better. The amount of bird life that can be seen just from the verandah is amazing.

I have now stayed at the Boma several times in recent years. This trip again showed what a special place this is. They looked after me brilliantly. It's like a family. As much friendly banter as I want. Nothing is too much trouble. I'm served instantly and the only time they were full and I was accommodated in a cottage...

I spent two different nights here for easy transfer to the airport after staying in Kampala. Don't get me wrong, the Sheraton Kampala is a very nice business hotel. The Boma just has all the things its lacking; a sense of Africa, coziness, human scale and good food. The staff here is terrific from the time I booked until departure....

The rooms are lovely, the gardens spectacular with the pool area a particular highlight. The menu is simple but really well executed. A definite welcome addition to any trip to Uganda with the benefit of never getting stuck in traffic when trying to get to the airport!

We spent 2 nights before and after the Rwenzori climb. The first room was a little bit dark, but we were so tired that fell asleep very fast. But the next time after 10 days we were accommodated in a very comfortable room, light and had very nice view. The food was amazing! That's why I rate the hotel 5*....
