Our room was great and so was the service. Everyone working the desk was extremely helpful in giving us directions and help. The location was great - close to the historical district as well as to the ferry/bus station. This was very helpful as we arrived by bus from Montevideo, spent the night at the hotel, and then left around...

I stayed in this lovely hotel with my mother while travelling through Uruguay. We were lucky enough to get the biggest room, the former living room of the author Le Vrero. It is not hard to imagine how he would find inspiration to write his novels in this nostalgic old building. It is located out of the historic city walls...

This old home (Vrero was a Uruguayan author) is beautiful. With creaky old floors, historic tiles, architectural details and a lovely patio/yard in the back, this is definitely a place I would come back to. The beds, pillows, towels and decorations in general were very comfortable, clean and well chosen. It is a perfect combination between old and historic with...

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was an excellent choice. The hotel is very charming and staff very helpful. The breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfortable. My wife loved the courtyard, we spent some time there to relax. We had a great experience and we would come back to the same hotel.

My partner and I spent two nights at Posada Le Vrero during a recent 10-day ramble around Uruguay (we're from the States). It was a great experience. It's a small, charming building with a hidden garden behind it. Our room was very spacious and modern, with wooden floors and lots of comfort. The hotel is on a quiet street just...

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a quick visit between Buenos Aires and Montevideo. I was given Room 9 which had its own private patio. Great shower & water pressure! The main tourist area is about 5 blocks from the hotel and the staff was incredibly helpful with guidance and a friendly greeting upon your return back...

We took a hydrofoil from Buenos Aires to Colonia de Sacramento for the day and spent the night in this boutique hotel. It's very nice, small clean rooms with a nice bath. It's 2 blocks from the ferry terminal and five blocks from the start of the UNESCO site. Included breakfast was filling.

We booked last minute and got the ground floor room with a street view. The room was clean and the breakfast was nice, however it was very noisy both from the street and when people entered the house. The guests weren't noisy, but the door was... The location was great, a couple minutes from the bus and ferry station, and...

Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful in suggesting places to eat and to visit while in Colonia. I had a great stay here and would definitely stay again when visiting Colonia.
