Clean, sound, quiet, comfortable and relatively conveniently located place even if slightly boring and lacking character. Spacious rooms, big roof terrace yet again it's all a bit anonymous. Wifi is best (and sometimes only available) in the lobby.

Perfect situated hotel-in front is a park with fountains and it's only 7min walk to Registan and 10-15 min walk to the highly recommended tripadvisor-restaurants (e.g.Platan). Bus-stop (to reach railway station) is only 2min walk away. Hotel offers nice ambience and rooms, is clean and you can chill on the roof top. Breakfast is nothing special but okay. Rooms are...

The setting: You are a 15 min and 10,000 som taxi ride from the Samarkhand train station. The hotel is located near Registan and facing the side view of the Gur-Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlane’s tomb). On the map it looks like this hotel is facing the super famous Registan complex; this is not the case. It is a 30+ minute walk...

Fantastic hotel with kindest staff ever met. The location is perfect and room decoration is never you can do better. Terrace is the nicest place under the blue sky and service is more than good for boutique hotel kind. I am satisfied totaly and reccommend you that magic place to stay.

This hotel has a great location and is in walking distance to Registan. It had a lovely roof terrace but it was raining when we were there so we couldn't use it. However, we bought wine and beer from reception and had it in our room instead and it was very cheap. The beds were comfortable and there was good...

The location just minutes away from the Gur-e Amir, which gave us the opportunity to revisit it at night (beautiful façade when it's lit), which we probably wouldn't have done if we stay closer to the Registan. The walk to Registan is about 15 min and very pleasant. The hotel staff is very friendly and speak good English, the internet...

The rooms are small so you won't want to spend much time inside. The service is basic, the breakfast is nothing special, can be skipped. Location is good, its near Timur mausoleum and waking distance to Registan square. For other monuments and places, you will need to take a guide with a car! Don't accept walking tours from hotel because...

There are two Malika hotels in Samarkand. The location of this one (Hotel Malika Prime) is much better. It's located next to Gur Emir, mausoleum of Timur, and 15 minutes walk to Registan. The hotel is simple and probably lacks atmosphere. But it's clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet offers good selection of food. Considering the price we paid (US$60), I...

I spent three nights at Malika Prime, using it as a base during my travels around Samarkand. It is a centrally located, clean hotel that clearly caters to tourists. Check-in was a snap and my luggage was carried quickly to my room on the second floor. The room itself was spacious, clean, and functional. House cleaning was invisible but thorough,...
