Our tent was well equipped. We really enjoyed the sounds of the hippos chatting from one side to the other on the river, with the call of the Fish Eagle in the background. The food at the restaurant is very mediocre for the price. The fact that Zambia is run on US$ does not help.

Weare on a self drive tour through Zambia and stayed on a shady campsite for 2 nights and found the place very clean, well run and efficiently managed. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the owners also gave us helpful advice on travelling further in Zambia. An ideal place to stay when you want to visit the falls. Highly recommendable!!!

Approx. 20 min drive from the airport, this beautiful and well-maintained camp is located directly on the Zambezi River. The operators and the entire staff were incredibly cordial and helpful. The food was exceptionally good, the chalet tents clean and tidy. Having been there at the end of the rainy season, a green flowering landscape awaited us and the Victoria Falls were simply stunning. We can wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Zambia and especially a stay at this camp. We will definitely go again. A rental car is an advantage, although we had a super nice driver who took us safely everywhere and provided us with lots of information. Many thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable and wonderful holiday!

This year we have stayed at Nkwazi at the beginning and the end of two Safari's. The camp sites are as near perfect as it could be, certainly one of the very best in the region. Andrew , who looked after us on our site, was helpful throughout our stay , fired up the 'donkey', and kept everywhere imaculate. Many camping sites make campers unwelcome on their decks and bars, but at Nkwazi Simone and Gabriel are perfect hosts. After the dust and sand of the Kalahari, a wonderful meal following a trip on the river and a few beers as the sunset on the deck was a perfect end to our trip, and our ninth stay at Nkwazi. That says it all!!

I write to complain about the kind of food that was served for our wedding! The food was shocking and not well prepared. Some of the food on the menu that was paid for was not even served! The cheese we provided for the platters was not all used. Not sure what happened to the rest! The amount we paid and what was delivered just seemed substandard and this put a damper on the event!

We are sorry that your experience was not what you have anticipated. We prefer to address a less than perfect experience of our guests on a personal manner and not on a public forum as in order for us to properly address the alligations,we might have to reveal a more personal side of the matter and not just one or two matters out of content. You always need the bigger picture to understand the entire story. A sausage always has 2 ends. For clarification, every event or wedding is planned and presented according to the budget that is provided by the guest for the event. We have done our best to accomodate you in every way possible by allowing you to bring food and drinks for your own account as our rates and standards were just a little bit higher than you anticipated. We are sure that if you think about the amount of stepping in we at Camp Nkwazi had to do when your "wedding planner" let you down to make your wedding a memorable one we are of the opinion that we succeeded with this attempt in every way. Two nights stay in the chalet was fantastic. I needed to recharge after lots of travel and couldn't have been better. Clean, plenty of nature, and very helpful staff. I really liked the bathroom and proximity of chalet & restaurant to lake, on a sunny day, its a dream place. Recommended!

I only stayed one night in Camp Nkwazi (after arriving in Livingstone after a long flight). But it was a great place to recover from the trip. Don't miss the river cruise. The place was clean and comfortable, food was great, and the staff very helpful.

Beautiful camp along the Zambezi river. May was a little cold but we had a heated mattress pad to keep us warm. It is a fancy screened in tent structure with hardwood floors, wonderful bathroom and restaurant/bar. Each tent is away from others so you have a lot of privacy. It even has an outdoor patio and small kitchenette. Jerrod was an amazing chef and Fisher was an excellent waiter. We were the only ones in the camp at the time so they gave us 5 star service!. You won't want to miss this experience.

Stay here! Beautiful luxury tented Villas on the Zambezi River surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and incredible views. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean with very comfortable King Beds, excellent Wi-Fi and fantastic bathrooms and showers. There is an open air deck for meals with a fully-stocked bar. The pool is perfect and welcoming during the hot months. The entire place is great, but the staff really takes it to a next level. Communicating with Salome during booking was a pleasure and Fisher, our waiter/bartender was attentive and kind. Definitely would stay here again.

The place was amazing and the atmosphere is just incredible. Sleeping in with bird, hippo and cricket sounds was just a cherry on the top. Rooms are clean and neat. The staff was super helpful and assisted in case of any problems or queries. Summary amazing stay!
