The Victoria Falls Waterfront is situated on the Northern banks of the Zambezi River, approximately 4 km's upstream from The Victoria Falls and just opposite Siloka (Long) Island. This establishment is designed to attract the younger more adventurous traveller (and of course the young at heart!) who wish to experience the Great Zambezi River, the wonder of the Victoria Falls and its stunning wildlife surrounds, without great expense. It is designed to cater for all travellers, from camping to basic, good quality chalet accommodation. The Waterfront has some lovely riverside chalets with balconies and stunning views. We also have Adventure Village Tents which are permanent tents with 2 x single beds and a campsite - so something to suit everyone. The lodge has fantastic amenities including 2 x swimming pools, a popular bar, restaurant with Peppino's by the river's pizza's (delicious!). There is also an internet cafe, wifi, small souvenir shop and a large activity centre who will help with all activities in the area.

The location is brilliant, see the smoke from Victoria falls from restaurant. Sundowners at sunset! Overall the atmosphere of this place counteracts everything. Campsite is grassy, and shaded which is great. Two pools and a bar. Facilities are smaller than expected and showers

Dear Angelina B, Many thanks for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor and all that fantastic information for future clients. Yes, we accept USD, Rands, Pounds and we have credit card facilities at The Victoria Falls Waterfront. We are sorry to hear that your mosquito net had holes in it! We will check every room and rectify this immediately. Spiders have the remarkable ability to get into all sorts of small spaces and are rarely well received! Thank you for putting your bed pal outside to find a new home. We hope to welcome you back for a bug-free experience one day soon! Kind Regards, Sharmaine and the Team

Hi Emma Y, Many thanks for the query - gluten free ingredients are a challenge in Livingstone, but we will certainly make a plan! Please let us know a month in advance of your visit - please direct the email for the attention of AMY - our F&B Manager. Many thanks and see you soon! Vanessa

Hi! We can certainly arrange transport to and from Victoria Falls Airport at our on-site activities centre. You are welcome to email your transfer requirements to us at Safari Par Excellence or the Res Team at The Victoria Falls Waterfront. Kindly note that VFA is an airport in Zimbabwe and as we are located in Zambia, a border-transfer will be required and visas may be payable. Please check with your nearest Zambian Embassy if you qualify to purchase a KAZA-VISA on arrival which means one visa for both Zim and Zambia. It costs $50. If you have not yet confirmed your flights, please consider flights into Livingstone Airport (LVI) which is located about 20mins from us here in Livingstone. With thanks and see you soon! Vanessa

Hi! Many thanks for your query about The Victoria Falls Waterfront. Oh, our monkeys are mischievous it is true! As we are located in the National Park, we have a troop of vervet monkeys that pass through daily. We have never had an incident where the monkeys have bitten anybody! The monkeys are great thieves though and will be in your personal belongings if they are given an opportunity, so we advise clients to keep doors closed if you are not there and not to keep any food/drink lying around. You will see the monkeys playing on the lawns and in the trees, they are not aggressive by nature but may fight for a banana so don't offer one :) We look forward to welcoming you soon. Kind Regards, Vanessa
